It brings to mind a question: why?
Why does the river run?
Does it need to?
Why is it considered peaceful?
And can it be obtained by other means?
And then it fades and the river runs dry.
The red one and the river of my eyes.
I fill the river bank so no one will know.
No one will learn of my unconventional escape.
I return to the life lived by another,
The life with a permanent upward arched
crescent moon etched into their face.
The one who pretends not to see the whispers and stares,
The living a life of self-coerced oblivion,
The life of the hated, yet unknown.

Before The Ink Runs Dry
Am I A Poet?
I have written #800 poems.
I thought I was an artist.
Creative illustrations.
Creative writings.
Changes passed the horizon.
I can’t see everything in front of me.
A new chapter moving forward.
We are writers.
Deep thinkers.
Until the ink runs dry.
Always a pen in hand.
Pondering a new letter.
Poems are short stories.
Document your life.
Written in a journal, be inspired.
Piano songs in the background.
Clouds floating all around.
Maybe one last poem.
Before the sun goes down.
Eyes are heavy.
Candles are burning.
The love of poetry.

To live with abandon is to spend your soul as if the tab will never come, but it always does – by unknown
When abandon runs dry
He spent money with merry abandon,
Like laughter thrown into the wind.
Tossed akin to confetti in events of fleeting joy.
He kept no tabs, no ledger,
there was no tomorrow.
He moved through life
as a flame burns through paper.
Notes flew from his hands,
the way birds scatter startled by gunshots.
There was no guilt in his pockets.
He opened the tap and shouted the bar.
People called him legend and slapped his back,
till the wind changed and downturn came.
Then the centre of gravity shifted,
the barstools cooled,
the phones stilled,
silence frosted all the beer steins.
He found himself orbiting absence
nobody patted his shoulder,
nobody flipped a coin in his cup,
He had poured himself into the room,
and when the keg ran dry,
all the lychees vanished…
they all abandoned him.
He doesn’t speak of it now,
just nods and smiles with that tired kindness
you only learn after the last music notes.
Love you Joe

It rained for three days
Constant outpouring awakens
The dry river to life again
A little farther besides our home
I hear the rumbling sound
Of water slowly snaking though
Descending, bulldozing its might
Pushing those like foam and debris
Downward plaining going farther
I can't wait for my outburst feeling
Whether I be sad, fear or happy
Sad cause by the inundation
Of what if it will go to flooding
And cause damage to land and properties
Fear of natural disaster to happen
Happy for our root crops ration with water
The rain did not stop its fury
I was tamed for three days in seclusion
Looking outside observing the effect
Slowly the rain die down its anger
Slowly also the river begun to calm down
Almost a day also the river dries up
And it goes back to totally back to sleep
That's when my fear and sadness also cease
Back to normal, life goes on to live.

My love for you, it runs deep.
My love for you, it runs too deep.
It knows nothing of tenderness, nor relief.
It runs through the thickest air of the night
Grows heavier with each clap of thunder
Grows darker with each bolt of light.
It swells with rain
And it promises that it will drown us, dear,
If we ever dare to sleep.
This love I have for you, it runs deep.
In every way that we can know,
We know this runs too deep.
It tastes nothing as our flesh
Enters its vicious mouth and goes down its godless throat.
It tastes nothing but it hungers just the same.
My love for you, it runs deep.
My love for you, it runs too deep.
I try to hide from it,
I pray for its death.
But it finds me, and it shakes me from my sleep.
These dreams I have,
my love for you won’t let me keep.
These dreams I have,
of loving anyone or anything
Please let me love anything but you.

one last wish? am I still entitled to this?
I would like... I would like a lot … ah… how many there are
the one who has no memories cannot have a future
before reaching a name on the long list of lost objects
realizes the value of regret and time (the lost past)
and it's as if you still want to let the wind touch your hair and pull furrows in the sky
sometimes I feel like I can be the summer solstice
to divide time into hours, days, moments
but what I don't have is already past. I will be lost too
souls, don't let indifference wash away your colors
because you need the soul, not the eyes, to find the way
and to help you pass all the customs of heaven

Every time I come closer
Away farther it gets
Without understanding
Whispered by a seeker
The More calm
The more insights attained
Insight gateway for success
Successful light worker
Illuminating the dark
Wisdom must be applied
Timid is the mind
Those addicts of pleasures
Relying on uncertainty
Can't find way to navigate
Through life
Find someone to blame
Rather than taking
Responsibility of mistakes
Acting all
Forgetting

Think, think
Never live
In your head

You digest

ACT according to your potentials.
You can't buy it twice
Forget about it
First lovely
Awakened

The juices are flowing
Out my butt it’s flowing
The stink surely is growing
The end is near i am hoping
The poos are floating
As they keep going
I begin to wonder will it ever stop exploding
For the pain has me moaning
On my phone diagnosing
The research is undergoing
My ignorance is showing
For I don’t know why my butt is unloading
The doctor call i continue postponing
As my juices stay a flowing…

Nature's flower runs through my fears,
Her old seasons there interceding
On the silver gray blunt of the shears,
Where the stem—sharpened by night—is keeping
For the day's rain starving in the clouds;
This time, it needs your weeping.
When coming down, there's no damnable sound—
A forest saved, though unholding's deep;
I remember the lasting growth in Winter how
She swayed for my practiced meet—
The Spring, in her way, walks on near
Beside a street's slab of raw concrete;
And green or blue mists look like tears—
Nature's flower runs through my fears.

what would Versace do with a little bit of pink and orange satin?
We cannot wait until he sees it; and of course, he runs to it.
Envisioning a new gown that none of us could have ever envisioned.
It is his way, his mark, his genius, his brilliance, his calling.

With words severe we all should heed
And just like knives can make us bleed
Remembered once the cut is made
Much deeper than most any blade
The pain inflicted from the start
And like a dagger to the heart
These words that cut just like a knife
The damage done can last for life

Hold you in my arms
Rock you off to sleep
Whisper all about
My love for you so deep
The Mariana Trench
Is only but a wade
Compared to how far down
This love for you is laid
It's longing to come out
To warm up in the sun
Then with triumphant shout
Proclaim that you're the one
"It's you," my love would say
With tear-filled eyes of joy
No more maybe, someday
Allowed now to deploy
A little bit more
Of you is what I need
Each and every day
You're the one indeed
Who I'll wait for forever
If forever is in time
Never saying never
By your side I'll shine

Where is she?
where did she go?
nobody understand
nobody knows
she run away
from her soul
from her life
from my world.
Where is she?
why does she hide?
why does she say
so many lies?
what is she afraid of?
why does she cry?
sometimes it feels
like she had died.

Slow flames under the blacktop,
simmer-ghost rise
from the sloughing road.
Rubber scorches its skin
shedding blackened snakes.
It's a hot day,
creeping turtles fill pot-holes
with their hot-plate shells.
The highway drums along
to the churr of cricket songs,
along the way, either out or in,
dead-eyed samurai
rage-on at the speed of silence.
A fly in a warm margarita
brain-waves a thought of heaven,
then drowns in a wet question mark.
Sneakers, crocs or Jesus sandals?
Whichever way we walk
the town will be further away then we thought,
and the heat-hacked pigeons
will light the way like Tiki torches.
I guy reads about Maui
and its hills of ash.
A place where ice runs hot.
Dry tears run up
into his eyes.
