Europe

The collectors' job is to get the drugs out of the container
and away from the docks, from where they will be transported
to Amsterdam, Germany, Poland, Holand, Lithuania, Latvia,
Estonia, Finland and other parts of Europe.Over 150 tons of
illegal drugs were seized by French authorities in 2022 and
with it comes unprecedented drug violence in Belgium and
the Netherlands, whose ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam,
respectively, have become the main gateways for Latin American
cocaine cartels into the continent. In Belgium, the justice minister
is forced to live in a safehouse, out of reach of drug gangs.
Note.Drug Lords are powerful, strong, and dangerous.

Merchant Fleet

The merchant ship
The ship leaves Rotterdam
sail to the med, and through the Suez channel
into the red sea, the vessel arrives at an oil terminal
and all you see is pipelines storage tanks and sand,
then the ship goes back the same way.
The sea in its different mood can be lovely to look
at but after some time it gets boring.
Or a containership jam-packed with boxes that
load and unload I record time there is no time to go ashore
and explore. After a year of this tedium, you go home
and have seen nothing but oil tubes.

Alison Patrick

Alison completed the triathlon in Rio,
With Hazel Smith, her guide athlete,
‘Cos she’s visually impaired, not solo,
And so needs Hazel to see the beat.

She comes from Dunfermline, Scotland,
Hazel comes from Edinburgh, capital,
She loves to sing whilst a cooking hand,
And worked as a physiotherapist vital.

She wanted to be a runner, but injuries,
Prevented this, so she took up triathlon,
With her friends’ persuasion, frivolities,
In 2014 it quickly became her profession.

Alison collected the bronze in Kitzbühel,
Austria, at the ETU European Champs,
And still in that year, 2014, a gold bushel,
In Edmonton at the ITU World Champs.

2015, and Alison struck pure gold again,
At the ETU European Champs, Geneva,
And then at the Chicago ITU World den,
She took for the two of ‘em another silver.

2016 and the ITU Worlds in Rotterdam,
The Netherlands, and Alison won gold;
She trains in Loughborough’s stadium,
And was born in 1987 as eighties bold.

Ryan Taylor

“Cerebral Palsy has not held me back,
I've not let it hold me back.” A footballer,
In past years on the England CP squad,

And in 2016 in Buffalo City, the Worlds,
Ryan won the gold in 01:13:33, the title.

Then in Aguilas, Spain, at more Worlds,
He came second in a time of 01:13:31,
And at the Rotterdam World Champs,
Ryan came fifth in 01:12:57, much fun.

At Rio de Janeiro he finished sixth place,
His cerebral palsy affects his right side,
He uses with dexterity an adapted bike,
With left hand gears and brakes to glide.

The Louder the Mouth

The bigger the hypocrite.
Emails sent as a token of friendship.
Isis Isis come cause the crisis...
Who is behind this phenomenon of terror?
Who you don't suspect?
Not a million years detect.
The city with a heart tells the rotterdam tribunal at hague
Oh stay calm....
.with tempered resolve
 through it all

Aye the louder the mouth
The bigger the hypocrite
Isis....you and zionislam
Are condemned to fall.

A Traveler's Souvenir

It isn't just the wonders of the world
that dominate my mind and memory.
Sometimes it is the trifles that cement
in me that dawning consciousness that
makes me suddenly aware, "I'm really here!
I've stumbled on that rare completion
of a dream I only dared to think about."
Of this old globe no other part
retains its power to capture me
so well as one exciting synthesis
of light, of tower and of art.

However it's the unspectacular
that moves me most of all.
I've seen magnificence in Rotterdam,
Brussels, Munich and New York--
all wonderful, and yet it was
the transient things
that framed a city for me then
some fifty years ago. They would again
if they remain today: those little
bookstalls along the Seine.
      ~

Magda

Magda.

A friend of mine, who used to be a chef,
was filleting a mackerel when he found
a ring, inside the ring read: Magda 1972.
The golden ring, my friend wore on is left
Index finger. But it chafed and chafed till
Skin broke and he got an ulcer.

Fed up with this and perhaps a little
inebriated he gave the ring to a girl in
a bar in Rotterdam…she looked at
the engraving of the ring and fainted.
It had belonged to her husband who
tragically drowned at sea.

My friend, liked the woman – no longer
a mere girl- and despite her past, he
married Magda, She sold the ring and
with the proceed was able to buy a little
bar, but my friend´s finger turned septic
and had to be amputated.

Singer and Princessa!

Practical mode - is to pass theory and note
That we are on the way
Where the driver can drink hot,
Musician - live without music,
But we can listen our radio
And music -
Let choose it,
Driving our car!
And if you are not far
From Berlin -
You can hear country
Disco song of Grethen Eveline,
If you are moving near Rotterdam -
Listen how Paul is singing with big sharm,
If you stop and try something good to eat -
Only near Vatican Domingo
You can meet!
He - Placido, singer, imagine:
Is drinking at this moment non-alcoghol kvas -
Kind of russsian beer from Odessa street of Deribas,
He was the first businessman in Odessa
And was married on the grandgrandmother
Of Patricia Kaas -
Famous singer and princessa!
