The rain in Spain is never plain --
not there nor anywhere else, each
drop a stork of rosy rebirth.

Premium MemberA ROSY OUTLOOK

May we be blessed to live a life
with a multitude of joy…
and a minimum of sorrow…

Where most of the time we can say:
I enjoyed yesterday
I’m having fun today
And…I’m looking forward to tomorrow.

Premium MemberMarrying Miss Poetry

My dream was to marry Miss Poetry
When I was very, very young
Intelligent, determined and strong
Miss Poetry was sweet, zesty and classy.

My Muse was about styles and literature
As I said before, it was always a dream
A luscious dream that shone like a scintillant beam
And I bitterly blamed Mother Nature.

Through inspiration, I tried to find her
Very late at night and early in the morning
Before dawn. So far, I found nothing.

Yet, I’m still searching. I want to conquer
Her smiles, her heart, her soul and rosy kisses
And those would be all the missing pieces.

Rosy

A lovely dawning
paints a rose tinted sky.

it will rain later,
the sky will disrobe
and fall as summer tears;
a rain softly sorrowful
yet drenched in a gentle joy.

So young and fair
are the fresh skirts
of this new washed air;
a breeze lifts our eyes
to the hem of heaven.

When the rain comes,
when the gray air trembles,
for it most certainly will,

our sprits will know
both delight and drear,
as we recall,
the lovely artistry,
the fine first blush
of this rosy dawn.

Rosy 4

You had our meeting
as a chat
like midnight bathers
haplessly skinny dipping
you had it to a fine art

I gave my best shot
like the brightest CV
I rendered my soul
and was found wanting
May I ask you
what are you truly looking for
like a jet plume in the sky
you jettison the natural order
whilst Rosy sleeps

Rosy No 3

There's no green shoots
to our romance
she liked Numan
I liked Howe
I feel alone now
when she planned to
leave the sit so aptly
All she had our meeting down to
was a chat
when I gave my best
of poetry and photography
and music
You were not as deep
as you made out
despite being a coordinator for Covid jabs

Rosy Date 2

There's no green shoots
to our intended relationship
that's what she said
I felt alone, not so secure
leaving the situ, so assuredly set
had our meeting as a chat only
I gave my best photography, poetry and music
you were not as deep as you first poundered
although you were a Covid organiser

Our One Time Rosy

She arrived at 3pm on the dot
coming anywhere other than Greater Manchester
her northern accent was hard to decipher
She could recognise a meter oak
but had no time for Robinas
She enquired why guys were into figures
after i mentioned my SL120 record player

She was fiercely Red/ Green
believing in mandated proportional representation
She had a German Granny
and could understand, but not speak Deutsch
She could only thank me for a chat
not wishing for a relationship
my efforts thwarted
no green shoots

Premium MemberRosy Day Running

Exhilaration!
Feet pounding windswept pavements
people thrilled to run.
Red butterflies in tandem-
Invigorated heartbeats.

Day to satin night
on every viable route
energetic youth!
Pretty, fleeting scenery
like rosy days going by.

Lazy Souls' Future Is Never Rosy

If life is not properly organized
Our plans totally collapse
If discipline is unrecognized
We all are losing chaps

If time is not well-utilized
We can't reap success
Goals can be by us realized
Only, when, will, we possess

If time is by us wasted
And if we are careless
Glory can't be tasted
We remain only useless

If we allow lethargy
And indulge in laziness
We abuse our energy
And do a losing business

If we can't obey discipline
How can we become great?
If our brain is not keen
Loss enters our gate

Laziness paves the route
To reach doom's kingdom
All our peace, it will loot
To take us to the bottom

If our badness is forgiven
By us without any remorse
A blunder is by us done
As our unhappiness soars

If idly we in life always remain
Our progress will be blocked
Later if to God we complain
We will be by Him only mocked

We must very soon act
And do the best that we can
We must soon create a pact
With wisdom to be a real man

Let us soon rise like the Sun
And coolly tackle like the Moon
Let great acts be wisely done
To make victory come soon!

Premium MemberThe Rosy Heart

At the road’s blind end at the edge of distant glen,
faded red arrows showed the unpaved pathway,
winding through thicket to the hidden rose garden.
Why charming rose was nurtured secretly far away?
Rose seekers should track the scent, some would say.

I tried but couldn’t find the way to the rose garden,
the posy of red rose for your birthday I failed to get.
You thought it was an imprudent act of neglect brazen,
my unintentional lapse upset you so much, I did regret,
a misfortune, my rosy heart I gave, you hadn't seen yet.
