Eyes Out Sockets For Budging Pockets

For the unusually bulging pockets,
Eyes pop out of their sockets:
You’d think their owners had been handed lockets
Or once again America remembered rockets!

A Mechanic whose wife floats a versatile saloon
Funnily welcoming customers with balloon;
Perhaps, the contents of his pockets
Are to end up in a handful sprockets
Or in his wife’s interest hats feathery
And bags or shoes leathery …

But can he have made all the money
Or a part of it the sweat of his Honey;
Fewer cars now willing to break down
For a paid servicing by Mechanic Brown.

Schadenfreude

That wind so wild can cause those wooden limbs
to shake from side to side as though to slap a face.
It is worth watching through your window
feeling the weird warmth within, while witnessing
another's violence, as viewing a movie.
How vain do you feel inside
seeing the outside wind and rain?

Have you watched a ring fight,
heard the punches with leathern fists
on a face that takes chastisement
that you and your fellows cannot feel
on your own flesh, without or within?

Have you seen or known of the past
of rockets, guns, arrows, swords, spears, pain, death,
been sheltered by your country, your land, your home,
felt warmed, protected, on your flesh, in your core?

And how did your ancestors watch and hear
an agonising burning at the stake or crucifixion?
How unworldly is that hideous view
that can of course, from such a small distance,
generate a weird warmth within.

Planes Jet Planes Rockets Roaring

Planes taking off
of the refuges, roaring in the air...
Boring the mornings,
harassing the afternoons and
frightening the nights...
and as a war scenario
actually it's eloquent fuss
normal noise, but that resembles war,
truly remembers....!

Our Home and Around

It's the spherical objects in these galaxies,
                          That revolves and rotates
Brightened by the light from the red star not so far,
                          Fissions of helium.
Ever orbiting path never missing the track,
                          Kepler noted for us.
Apart from all, geometry in the cosmos,
                          Rapt its solidity.

Ever amazing facts that make us in this blue,
                     	 Marbled, as seen from space.
Deep, abyssal it enclosed in the Oort cloud rings,
                    	 Particles years apart.
We keep our time according to its deft motions,
                  	 Settings move in their ways
Rockets to visit neighbors in the Nebula,
                 	 A telescopic, view.

get beguiled by meteors those showers sometimes,
                 	Falling fire from above.
Spectacles sparkling from afar, hitting at times,
Yet we feel safe as part
Wonder how the crates in our moon shaded airless,
                        Dimples it bore for us.
All seemed its static stationed somewhere with its moon,
What a place, we call home.

Rockets Red Glare

A scent of sulfer fights its way
across dusk's dessicated haze
sirens scream for their fill
working their double patriotic duty
on this dreadful day

I muscle another sip of my heritage
warming as the thin ice melts quickly
keeping all sorts of burns at bay

echos fill the sky as light rains
in amber waves of courage
where egos speak of freedom
and children are left to abscond
from the hollow resound

one more for the road warrior
unbeknownst tomorrow's pounding
will be at least twice as loud

Rackets of Lies and Rockets of Truth

Rackets, rockets and sprockets of lies in their sties fly fast
Treasures and pleasures of truth offer orphans wisdom to last
Choose to cruise in lies and perish
Cruise to groove in truth and prune proof to furnish.

Spies and sties of lies speed up blights, flights and sites of harm
Growth of truth enjoin teenagers to join joints where they stay calm
Dive in rivers of lies and land into Airport Perdition
Drive droves of truth and aggrandize erudition.

Weirs and tiers of lies blind blokes whom they hypnotize
Vats of verity and truth redeem recipients on planets where they pander to their preferred prize
Fleas and freckles of lies flee when exposure lurks and irks in the background
Youth and truth unite to grow together in wisdom in every sound round.

Limitations of lies and imitations of truth run but can’t hide
Tidbits meet and fit wits to boost blokes’ pride in a right ride
Allies and lie spies rally but can’t parry functions of sanctions
Tallies and rallies of truth trek troops to unalloyed unctions.

Faith Healer Rockets

Faith is boarding an Airplane
That the brain cant explain
Has the ability to fly
Or the Astronaut who places his trust
On board a rocket fueled with the thrust
It defies gravity and the confine of a world he leaves behind
Piercing the sphere beyond earth's reality
Faith is the start of every journey
Will Faith return us
Or burn us
Time will only tell
If faith is a healer
Or if I believe her

Rockets

rockets
man
rockets
all in my head
a million galaxies
cut to see if I bled
far away places
thoughts
I shouldn't think
destiny is waiting
close to the brink
step by step
like I wasn't,was
insane
clutter of confusion
water down the drain
and
these rockets
man
just whoosh
in my brain.

Pocket Rockets

I swallowed the tablets from within my pocket
gave it an hour, and took off like a rocket
like wet fingers in consciousness' socket
this wall, can't you hear me knock it?
the Door, these pills can unlock it.

To gallop alongside a herd of neutrinoes
or close my eyes to where the mind goes?
alleviation of societies constraints and woes
on my own ride with various highs and lows
build bridges and learn to love my foes
im full of light even lighter on my toes.

Watch me groove and get my freak on
I am the pyramid, I am the beacon
I'm the parishoner and also the deacon
I am all the answers mankind's been seeking
I'm tapping into God so much it's leaking!

We Looked To the Sky To See the Rockets Red Glare

I went to Narragansett to watch the show
With family and friends and people gathered I didn’t know
Great food drinks and plenty of song
A perfect day nothing went wrong

The fun we had you cannot compare
We looked to the sky to see the rockets red glare

The smell of the salt water brought a smile to my face
The warmth of goodwill made me feel right at home in that place
We socialized all day and into the twilight
Went to Kelly beach and watched the fire works light up the night

The fun we had you cannot compare
We looked to the sky to see the rockets red glare

A great time to all those who were there
We shall never forget this star-studded affair
The fresh ocean atmosphere made us sleep in
We partied well and the memory of it will always make us grin

The fun we had you cannot compare
We looked to the sky to see the rockets red glare
