a week by the seaside is all that you need to revive your spirits 

REVIVED

walking around dead as the rest
encountered trauma throughout
learning true lessons of self love
every incident was a compression
to revive my heart for true healing
more peace more breathe more light
it became easier knowing love for
myself was an epitome of life itself
understanding forgiveness was key
dancing around alive like a few
encompassing peace wholeheartedly
accepting myself flaws and scars
laughing at old

Knelt down by the graves
Of every self I've laid to rest
Listening as their ghosts whisper by name
I hear myself in all of them,
to this I can attest;
     I am no different 
but I am no longer the same
       Made an off offering of rosemary,
a promise

This poem made me feel powerful and less lonely
Gave me permission to drag out my own macabre feelings
I found myself flying toward brilliance, enjoying “bat on the wing”
In a way, I felt this was written for me exclusively
A secret pact between me and the songwriter
“no moonlight for me’ is the way I feel on my

My karma was paid,
On that very night, someone
Had saved my own life,
Once and for all, for a change,
I was deemed worthy of life.

Neanderthal Revived

The lost mirror of humanity’s soul, covered by helix threads 
Or a creature who would destroy the wall of man and beast 
Who would rip apart man’s olive crown for the kingdom of nature

Sublime glow glitters from heavenly pole
Radiating jubilant hope-filled light
To exude warmth for blest reaching-out role.

With triumphant heart of sharing delight
Revived soul now readies toward faith flight
Exalting God for His abundant grace
Smiting gloom in response to earnest plight.

Midst spiritual zest propped by valiant brace 
Grateful soul continues to run life’s

Your Situation Is Not Too Dead That It Cannot Be Revived

Bad things happen to good people
It’s not fair but you have to dare to keep going 
Because there will always be something in you 
That believes that the impossible can be achieved!
In confusion you will know that 
Greater things are inevitable and you will know that

Sheaths of grass dry, dance in the arid field brown
In pursuit of green dreams, meander lives around
Counting its days, a wild plant wilts on ground

Obscured by sudden nimbus clouds, cries the sombre sky
Tear drops of the dreich sky wallop the vast land dry
Sky's tears, sustenance to the wild plant about to die

I had lots of love.

Why do I feel so sad?
I still have lots of love.

My career paid high.

I was well respected for my knowledge.

Why do I feel so sad?
I had a stroke at 55.

My Heart Revived

Reconnecting with the melody,
my life fell into place

Those pieces that were missing,
back home—a saving grace

That spot inside most empty,
the one I tried to hide

Music filled above the rim,
with joy—my heart revived
