Why Do I Feel So Sad

Why Do I Feel So Sad? Why do I feel so sad? I had lots of love. Why do I feel so sad? I still have lots of love. Why do I feel so sad? My career paid high. Why do I feel so sad? I was well respected for my knowledge. Why do I feel so sad? I had a stroke at 55. Why do I feel so sad? My kids turned out great. Their mother, a blessing to us all She had a plan, I didn't. Why do I feel so sad? I have a relationship with God. Through Jesus, the Son. Why do I feel so sad? I never knew what I wanted to do. Why do I feel so sad? I never dreamed of what I could become. Why do I feel so sad? Never developed the discipline to achieve. I went through sixty years without goals. Time to change. This is what I'm going to do. Time to excel. This is what I'm going to do. Time to dream sweet accomplishments. This is what I'm going to do. Time for real goals. This is what I'm going to do. Time for no regrets. This is what I'm going to do. Love others as they have never been loved before. This is what I'm going to do. Thanksgiving prayers in the most significant detail. This is what I’m going to do. An accomplished light for others in a dark world. This is what I’m going to do. After gaining for sixty years, It’s time to lose weight. This is what I’m going to do. Live life without excuses. This is what I’m going to do. Baby steps and then big leaps. This is what I’m going to do. I'm going back to school because I want to. Masters in Spiritual Leadership. This is what I’m going to do. Public speaking, I have a success story to write. Then I’ll share it with everyone who will listen. This is what I’m going to do. Do a little preaching. This is what I’m going to do. Share the gospel with anyone who wants to study. This is what I’m going to do. Less TV, even sports. Time to cease watching other people's dreams. Time to create and pursue my own. This is what I’m going to do. Pray without ceasing. This is what I’m going to do. Achieve spiritual greatness. This is what I’m going to do. Welcome to my dream. Now I have to write my specific goals with details. This is what I’m going to do. Copyright © Robert Moore May 5, 2020
