oh love
i
am restored
while
you leave
your footprints
upon
the
black sandy shore
because
these
are
the windmills
in
my mind
while
i
am here
to be restored

Down the corridors of mortal existence
He pursued me without ceasing,
Never yielding in his search of the lost,
Nor flinching from the wounds he carried
To gain admittance to my broken heart.
Out of a love beyond finite understanding,
He poured his abundant grace
Like a cascading fountain,
Showering me to cleanse and heal.
He gave himself for me,
When he brought his heavenly kingdom
To reign within, where
Once I ruled in my life.
Nothing compares to the mystery
Of God's holiness being implanted
In this empty vessel
Because of the sacrifice of one pure Man
Upon a cross of guilt and shame.
I can only surrender to his invitation,
Knowing I am known
Since before the dawn of creation -
Made in his perfect image,
Now restored in gold.
If by thought, word or deed
I mar the redeemed body,
I am impelled to confess
Before him, who stands in my defence,
Since he has atoned for all my sin.
At peace in the presence
Of him, who is the Prince of Peace,
I look to a time out of time
When I will be in eternal glory
To bow before him as Lord of lords
And King of kings -
My brother and friend.

There lurks within the human soul,
a lust for the perfect and whole.
This haunting hint of something lost
drives our quest to win at all costs.
Despite man’s garden escapade,
and the fierce flaming sword blockade,
perfection’s pleasant song has stayed,
e’en though our soul from God has strayed.
Our quest to create Paradise
has left us with nothing but scars.
Promises of a better life,
have only yielded stress and strife.
The promise made of paradise,
by Jesus, The Bright Morning Star,
has been a source of peace and joy,
which naught on earth could e’er destroy.
The saints of old with eager gaze,
looked for its fruit with hearts ablaze.
That grand reunion in the sky,
the time when death itself would die.
Soon the trumpet of God will sound,
and His saints will be heaven-bound.
Faith will then give way to sight,
and what was wrong will be made right.

They looked into
Each others eyes
LOVE was all they knew
Til shadows
On the border
Placed black over blue
The ground was green
The sky was black
Rain fell to flood
The wood was acacia
The nails were iron
The price reined as blood
War in the heavens
War on earth
Nothing at peace
Doomsday looming
The enemy grooming
For the Kracken's release
"Are you disconcerted"
Seeing, she saw
The history of man
Judgment of defense
Not knowing how to fight
They stopped trusting the plan
...of Restoration

I love you my Lord
Within
Is where we begin
Through the heart we honor
We rediscover
Lines beyond the treads
We saw so clearly within our heads
A world of dreams
Few have seen
Not many can
Will understand

Guided from above

In disguise
Placed on the back burner
Ignored
Stay hidden
Presence doesn't matter
Spotlight knocked out
Unknown.
Talents and gifts were destroyed
Down sparrow, it goes
Laughters
Not deserved
Non-reserve seat.
Not worth the while
A smile turned upside down
Sadden, waves of laughter all around.
All being said
JESUS came and died for us all
Lifted up
Not fallen.
Satan is a liar
All gifts and talents are restored
The last laugh, not ignored
Cries no more
Unknown, to shown
A voice to be heard
The world looks brighter
A future fulfilled with love
A precious genuine gold.
In other words
What JESUS has for me
It is for me.
Satan get back
You and your evil packs
Covered by Jesus's blood
In this entire world
Bolder and wiser as can be
The whole world shall see.
Note: Do not give up on yourself. Others might.
Jesus still lives. Haters will hate. There is something special in you.
Friends are far. Overall Jesus is near.
Much Prayers.

The hope I run towards, belongs to the others.
With each void that passes, there is always another.
This pain can be altered, but not destroyed.
As I try to advance, there are guards to avoid.
I feel guilt each time I sleep.
The deeper I travel, the more consciousness I reap.
There is a wait for sanity to be restored.
I am bound to shame, like a mistake, it pours.

At last my doubts had to face death,
Faith took a life-feeding fresh breath.
I’d feared, wet soil my steps would trace,
What luck, ah grass grew on the path!
And lost, watching the setting sun,
None saw how sad my face turned hath,
As to my cheeks that had turned red,
Lights went off, gave life to my faith,
And rain that came washed up my tears,
Wondered, how love its say sayeth.

Life in this world is very beautiful,
Once man lets love always dwell in his heart,
It’s nice to bring smile to all the people,
Denying the rage of hate to take part,
And tearing down the great dividing wall,
Yes, the war, strife, and turmoil shall depart,
As everyone is there to understand,
Peace is finally restored in the land.

In the quiet solitude of evening I come before The Lord.
In the secrecy of my chambers I seek His presence.
It is here that I kneel before my Master and bare my soul.
Tough I fail Him time and again He will receive me.
Though I disappoint Him He will not reject me.
Though He chastises me He will not cast me out.
He will lift me up from the mire and set my feet upon firm ground.
He will wash away my sin and clothe me in a robe of righteousness.
With His right hand He reaches out to me.
With His left hand He holds my enemies at bay.
With His right hand He provides all that I need.
With His left hand He shelters me from the elements.
All this He promises me for He is a loving Father,
And I am His Child.

The free form ceramic sculpture
made by my daughter
years ago toppled off the shelf
in a storm after a thunderous
lightning clap shook the house.
The sculpture was of four witches
peering over a cauldron brewing
a magical potion.
It was a very abstract piece.
Three of the witches, shaped as dragon
heads, had broken off at the neck.
Luckily the breaks were clean.
I was heart-broken.
it meant so much to me
not as bold and glorious piece of art,
but that it was made by her
and given to me.
I thought about a seamless hidden repair
using glue and touch-up paint,
which was certainly possible.
She would never know
I had carelessly let it fall and break.
But, I would always know I had
broken it and was ever deceived her.
I would have to live with the lie.
Instead I fixed the breaks with bold gold,
adding gold necklaces to all the witches.
To rejoin the three witch necks
which had broken off,
and one extra necklace to the one
that remained attached.
She forgave me and loved the bold gold repairs
which she said added something extra from me,
for me and her to share.

Reapers visit
Warm salty tears dripping down my reddened cheeks.
Sadness and depression fill my barely beating heart, thudding so slowly I can't feel my own pulse.
Told I now Repulse, causes me to convulse tremoring violently, retch so much nothing but anger and disillusion come out, just a disgrace.
An entire life I have had happiness love and joy till my love my life twinflame died holding in bed sometime during the night.
Chest compressions only caused black blood to splatter my face.
The cold stiffness that once was warm and soft his red skin now blue and lifeless this more than a crisis. Our love always limitless that once armored us licit love replaced with bitterness and bereavement.
Bestfriend died.
Suddenly taken away
Forever

In nineteen-eighty-five, so long ago,
a dark red B M W became
our son and wife's new car in Germany
while stationed there as Army officers.
Though many cars replaced it since that time,
the B M V remained with them
because their son eventually declared
he hoped it would become his car someday.
Fast forward to today- a dream come true;
the B M W antique lives on!
Through dedicated hours, he has restored
most everything to bring it back to new.
From motor, brakes, transmission, leather seats,
to all the chrome details outside and in,
new tires- and soon, a shiny bright paint job-
his project, done with love- the last two years.
The BMW exceeds his age-
about five years- but still its will to live
was met with our grandson's fine skills to give
new life to its jalopy heart again.
