Premium MemberIt's never too late

It's not too late to be that lassie,
who speaks out loud and is some times sassy..
It's never too late while one has breath,
to take that chance, preserve what's left..
It's not too late to be restitute, in a quest
for fairness, to share one's truths..
It's never too late in a land with freedoms to
appeal to it's people to reflect and to reason..
It's never too late to turn that page,
with hope and love for a better age..

Premium MemberWhat I Know

I know I'll never be
More than I am
I can only try
To do each day
The best
I can

I know I can't undo
Mistakes I've made
I can only try
To restitute
Old debts
Unpaid

I know I cannot halt
Or alter time
I can only try
To better use
What's left
Of mine

Premium MemberThe Dead Sea

"Do away with me, Lord!
For I have blown it again!
There's rust on my sword,
There's weakness within.

Who sinks in the Dead Sea?
And drowns with his cross?
I am broken and weary,
I am a total loss!

My life is sucked out,
There's no longer a flow,
I better dropout-
I failed You, I know."

"I see, but hardly agree!
This is how you must grow,
When I prune back the tree,
Its assuring to know!

I sent you a fiery trial,
Exposing your deepest ore,
Rest yourself for awhile,
And be strengthened even more.

In My kingdom you'll see
An east river that flows
From Jerusalem to the Dead Sea,
Transforming as it goes.

Where the Sea is stagnant,
The waters become fresh.
What was once repugnant,
Will satisfy afresh.

I will fill it with fish.
Its banks will provide fruit.
You will eat from My dish!
My wine will Restitute!

It will all be worth it!"

Elegy On the City's Edge

The sleeping sky is cloudy
And creates a veil over the lying minds.
Like a festival, the cemetery is alluded,
And turns to a hunting ground.

Open Graves and pits -
They lived.
Crowd of faces in their shades,
To amaze those preys.

Reefs and sheets they laid
On the unseen skins of the deceased
To commemorate their ways,
In spite of the deaths unperceived.

Decorating - they decorate the undecorated,
Whose lives cannot be consecrated.
The clock ticks, and time's fastened
In memories imprisoned.

Candles that could not light
Their lives any longer,
Cries that won't see them in tight;
Yet, they restitute their hunger.

They, lying there wished to smile,
But are thousand miles -
Though sighed at the benevolent pride,
But embraced their newest mild.

Restitution

Restoring the lost me
To replenish the exhausted zest.
To learn to fall off a crest,
Looking up again, with a heart in my chest.
Reviving reliving
the vivid memories ,when the feet were tiny,
full of grace
full of pace.
Holding on to memories,
nostalgia circling me,
i began to walk ,
a tumultuous trip.
Holding on to my hues,
alas, I traversed through.
Timidly trailing time,
hoping to meet at cross roads,
a rendezvous.
Leading to a place,
with destiny powering my craze
i began to gaze
but saw a place devoid of grace
Everything perishing with pace
Battling inconstancy was no easy maze.
Remaining was me,
amongst the debris
Ceasing to restitute the lost me.

Ghost of the Misfit

I.

Do not wish to make conjecture about life.

as it pertains to me in so called "situational agony"
my body has regressed and my mind vegetative

Do not restitute or substitute joy with a heliocentric excuse
as if I lack vitamins or chemical jolts of conceived contentment

You documented that I am not jesus nor a jew
I lack the frugality and the wish to please people

running down
down, down, down
down, down
down.

unblessed like the nun that became the whore
sanctity has been all but reaped from under me
this carpet, a spectacle of decorated extinction
thoughts delay and fade from view like an eagles spectre

hello.goodbye.
