What I Know

I know I'll never be
More than I am
I can only try
To do each day
The best
I can

I know I can't undo
Mistakes I've made
I can only try
To restitute
Old debts
Unpaid

I know I cannot halt
Or alter time
I can only try
To better use
What's left
Of mine
