Look in a mirror and see who you are
Left on your skin is one big scar
Meant to remind you of the day
You tried to put yourself away
Showing others of your sins
Making you look like an ungodly trash bin
Acting as a repellent to your happiness
Surrounded by people and their plentifulness
An ugly thing you wear like a crown
Look in the mirror, it's called a frown

In the gentle haze of emerald leaves
Is balm for minds wrestling with unease
With a sweet green goddess solace found
In the garden where anxiety is unbound
She whispers to an overanxious soul
Dancing to a peaceful melody to console
Elevating my spirits to a celestial flight
Consternation disappears into the night
When panic's fierce storm comes near
The green goddess is a repellent of fear
A guardian peering out from a viridescent cloud
Providing respite from an overzealous crowd
Let the embers glow in a serene embrace
In the garden of green anxiety finds its grace
A sanctuary with a heightened sense of calm
The power to reactivate these hues in my palm

Three performers enter the room.
Two children.
One adult.
The children stand like two scarecrows in a rice field.
The adult takes a can and sprays the children;
careful not to miss a spot.
The children put their hands down and prepare to exit,
The adult whispers,
“they’re everywhere”.

Take my each poem
then apply to everyone
may like to read them
when he liked to landscape
did cut down my each drape
then tried to escape
when (she)(he)(Jill)(Bill)(Jan)(Stan)(they) etc. would covet
instead of saying shove it
always did love it
When She (He) etc seem so cute
Would begin wearing bathing suit
While he(she) was a brute,
which was a tribute
cost a loot of loot
Instead of a being a bathing suit
with a horn that had to toot
when wearing a repellent
had been horribly hard to tell it
(she)(he) etc. was shot with a pellet
when it was above all(which way)
to call cards she was way to tall
how the (which way) dice (chips)(cards) will(did)(had to) fall
(game we had to call)
(dealer was a doll)
(always would appall)
(was seen in shower stall)

Spring is not all it is made out to be
There are swarming black flies, blood thirsty ticks
Caterpillar invade, like a movie
Finding yourself constantly, trying to flick
Of course, no one likes sweeping insect poop
Or running from bees nests in the garden
Chickens can help if you may have a coop
Smiling flowers will not let hearts harden
Mosquitos decide to follow the rest
Repellent is frequent, to say the least
The slugs and the earth worms think they're the best
But sometimes snakes emerge, like a beast
Besides all this, there is the thick mud, too
Plan for showers; you will feel good as new

I cannot find The Excellent
In what is Largely Repellent:
If one swam a cold river,
One was liable to shiver…
I won`t heed Lord`s Minister,
Who dwells on The Sinister:
Often about Mortuary
Rather than Clean Sanctuary:
Neglected Nude Sinner`s Corpse
Which on trodden bare floor drops!
Your Priests who watch White Clerics
Have never heard them drop clicks,
During Sermon try a scowl
Or before its end dog`s growl;
Your Evangelical Schools
Have been breaking The Rules
Forget the crowd they do pull
Church to capacity full:
Time they threw in the towel;
Some can do well trowel…

Spindly stretching brambles rebel from main form
Amused bending stems eject spikes of rhino horn
Thorns barely a repellent for birds resourceful
Tweezer glowing twilight globe, a bitter morsel
Fresh field alien green cone births berry's infant
Chantilly lace pale pink petticoat wraps nymphet
Confetti celebratory moult bulges her fertility
Eighty protruding bulbs shiver in vulnerability
Stern season carousel chastens scanty branches
Snow swallow, boggy terrain new tepid attaches
Saw edge foliage unfold, twitching fox ears
Clusters encombour limbs, absinthe adheres
Florid flocks tossle, augment midnight family babble
Morning dew melt sapor stains fingers which dabble
Outcast tongue teaser, lumpy rubber cleaved
Mauve motivate jaunty juice, mouth received

Unseen danger
He was fifty- five living alone in a cottage
but how is it possible to explain how he came to fall in love
with a woman of forty and lose his dignity.
We must take a break trying to understand the human heart
or the circumstances of wished for the repellent.
He was a ship navigating without a gyro-compass
in the sea of deceit, this foolish dance of a human borboleta.
When he kissed her, his whole soul was absorbed by her like falling into a cave of endless pleasure.
His anchor got lost in the outer seas.
Suddenly it was over like a dream that ends at frostbitten dawn
a locked door, there was some else in her embrace.
Rejected, he pleaded with the unseemly nativity, had she relented
enrolment would never be the same.
He took his dog and drove up north had wanted to see
the autumn colours.
After a week, he drove home and began his life like starting
all over again, walks in the woods of sanity.

A flock of large birds
or a fleet of small small planes
is speeding towards me.
NO! It's worse--mosquitoes!
I failed to use repellent!
I grab my swatter.
They slap it away, laughing--
my baseball bat too.
I’ll need a tub of itch cream,
maybe a transfusion.
The females descend
to feast on me; the males watch,*
rendering support
with cheering and clapping.
Next time I’ll use spray with DEET.
*Male mosquitoes do not bite living things; they can only consume sugary
fluids and thus do not bite or suck the blood of humans or animals. This was news to me!

I wanna love you in summer
when everything is hot
when the rain has poured
when the fields are damp
when the blend of flower colours convolutes
when their scent blends pleasantly in my nostrils
when the sky is always overcast with clouds
yielding its tears to the earth
with tree canopies protecting the ground
from the scorching rays of the sun
I wanna love you in winter
When everything is cool
When the morning breeze cools tree tops,
When skies are clear
When stars give direction to the sailor
When nights are long to endure our delight
I wanna love you in spring
when it' clear between branches
when leaves are brown
when the tree tops are clear
when gusty winds blow away all repellent
leaving the ground clear
I want the fruit of your mouth
The physical that doesn't perish
The emotional that doesn't expire!

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
If I should die before I wake......
WHAT are you thinking...
telling me stuff like that
just before you tuck me in
and turn out the lights?
Whadda-ya-mean IF? IF?
I should .....D I E.....
Get back in here
get me a night light,
some demon repellent.
Tell the Lord to keep
his mitts offa my soul.
Ain't sleepin'
not tonight....not ever
Where can i hide my soul.
Damn....I don't even know
what a soul looks like.
Where can I hide?
Under the bed
in the closet....too easy.
Maybe...YEAH...
LAMPSHADE HAT...
HOLDING BULB...

the bank robber
I, like many others, are short of cash
the idea of robbing a bank at gunpoint is repellent
and I hate guns.
I have a better idea, in the evening when I go for a walk
leaning against a bank-door in the hope they have
forgotten to lock the door.
There are many banks in the street where I live.
To avoid attracting attention, I lean only at a door
of a bank once.
There must be one sloppy enough to forget to close the door, and if the safe is open, I´m home.
I have two plastic bags for this purpose.
Should I be lucky I will not be greedy fill the bags
and go to Spain, no, only enough to pay the electricity bill
gas and rent; and enough for a bottle of posh wine
and change the tires of my car.

She was a sexy young mosquito named Fey
Had no qualms about chewing your flesh away
We did not realize what a hard bug she was
Until she flew in and began chewing on Cuz.
Cuz let out a shriek, and slapped her arm very hard.
Fey flew away, but threw down a poem by a bard.
Poem said simply she had most particular taste.
She needed the blood type of my cousin, Big Waste.
Big Waste was the kind who got puffed up quite quickly.
Rolled up her sleeve and invited Fey to dine slickly.
Fey had to be coaxed for she was a player.
She burrowed down under BW’s skin layer.
Ouch! Big Waste said. Can you dine a bit faster?
Fey brought in brothers making lunch a crazy disaster.
Someone ran for mosquito repellent and brought out a spray.
Which ended the cousins and that arrogant bully named Fey
