Renunciation Poems

Look at body-mind as a car we drive,
from which upon death we will disembark,
so we renounce goals for which we did strive,
sailing in the void on an upward arc.

This world is a dream, so it’s unreal,
therefore to which object should we then cling?
Shifting to the heart, we being to feel,
throb of bliss magnetism that makes heart sing.

Divine aligned, mind fixated on God,
objects of the world holding no allure,
at our slow motion awakening awed,
our childlike presence is pure and demure.

We flow with ease, mode embrace and release ~
There are no demons we need to appease

Looking deeper than mind and senses five,
instruments provided for earth life use,
in stillness, eye of the soul let’s revive,
since ego cravings lead to self-abuse.
Following scent of love, bliss beat’s our muse,
we get to a knowing no one can teach,
as illusion of space-time we so breach.

Discarding every conditioned belief,
jettisoning fear, renouncing desire,
we so give our soul much needed relief,
that with no objects we seek to acquire,
we then ignite in heart, God’s cosmic fire.
First things first, we must let go off the shore,
that through each pore of form, grace may in-pour.

The screen of awareness upon which life plays,
learns by touch whilst yet free from both joy and pain,
because it is not soul but ego that sways,
imprisoning consciousness in a thought chain,
wherein we trauma bond until end of days,
unless by force of will, dark desires are slain.
This practice requiring renunciation,
chooses cessation to raise soul’s vibration.

Abdication

I will doff my ermine gown
and take off my kingly crown.
The day declines, the course is run,
on fleece of gold reclines the sun.

I'll not retouche the Mona Lisa
or straighten up the Tower of Pisa.
Further work in that connection
I leave to those who seek perfection.

Premium MemberHer Renunciation

She walks barefooted in spiny shore
as dusk descends to snatch her heart;
Bloody feet turn curling foams
into hot crimson red~
melting her footprints
and her wild dreams
into smoke
that kills
her.
She
dances
with the moon
as the tide dries;
Her dolesome heart hails
on nocturnal murmurs
echoing from northern lights
as seabirds return to their nests;
She jumps in and succumbs to the sea.

chewing
misery
a dagger
in the morsel
jabbed
slash on the heart
an evil thrall
enslaved
my conscience
my mother the morsel
she rebirthed
as the chicken
i just ate

The Power of Renunciation

a strange like feeling
unknown so far,
pierced through me,
with hollowness
of the years, in true.

yet, the life as such,
in a jiffy, gone and flew
that I lived alone
as one in the crew.

its flavour tastier
and rhythm smoother,
when a new shoot
of renunciation grew.

the real happiness,
as I felt, in the detachment
and the stark joy in the fullest,
that was only for me and a few.
