'Like the silence that screams, cursing solitude...
whispers of faith sing patiently with prayers.'
           (Quoted by Regina Mc Intosh)

Hung suspended from hive rafters hexagonal
Leader Lady Ruler Bee gorges imprudent
Heavy duty seeps striped desirous abdominal

Workers hover, rush beneath Queen exuberant
Team enthusiasm pumps a syrup scaffold
Propolis produces massed mission belligerent

Numb buzzing bumblers fumble fated cuckold
Hunger for cohesion, gold body encompass
Busy anonymous paupers, sources unresolved

Eager in sweetness, clan clustered accomplice
Reverently fulfills each gluttonous request
Swift need swords stung in caustic redundance

Plump with pupae, flightless wings flouresced
Polar iceberg cream honey hearts can't ingest

Out of the job, looking for work,
Will do whatever needs to be done,
Have been the words I’ve said every day,
Ever since my redundance begun,

But all of the work is applied for online,
With pages and pages of files,
Where every small detail of my meagre life,
Is somehow what the job here requires,

From my lifestyle, my likes, and the name of my dog,
To what sort of food do I eat,
To what sort of team do I follow in sport,
And what brand do I wear on my feet,

But the most frustrating data looked at the most,
Why my submission’s withdrawn,
Is the bit under my name for each online form,
That states the date I was born.

Men Are Not Dogs

Life is not as cryptic as it sometimes seems
I watched a dog the other day sniffing around the garden
Sniffing here sniffing there
Redundance I figured
But then it started scratching a specific spot
Scratching becomes digging
A frenzy of rapid moving paws and dirt being flung
Already paw-deep in trouble for bad landscaping skills
Paw-deep in the dirt and showing no sign of pause
Then a loud celebratory growlish bark
A eureka moment to put it as such
He has found a juicy bone buried knee deep in the dirt
He retreats tail-waggingly to his shady spot to enjoy his prize
After observing this spectacle I came to realize
That like the dog I should dig deeper and deeper
To find my desired prize
But however the dog left a mess and shows no accountability for it
Men are not dogs
We clean our mess.

Woman

Entering your life she emanates great fun
She spreads her glory like the celestial sun
She gifts her love forever in abundance
Often she is left in ignorance and redundance
Despite all odds she puts up a brave face
Meeting all ends she is running a race
WOMAN, she exemplifies beauty and grace
At times she wants her own little space
A bow to all women on this very special day
God give them strength and forbearance I pray

Dark With In

THE TINIEST CRACK IN OUR BLACK HEARTS
WILL LET LIGHT SHINE INTO EMPTY DARKNESS
SUNRAYS HIT MY FACE, A REMINDER TO
NOT BURN TO A TOASTY MARSHMALLOW
PRECONCEIVED OF THE CURB VIEW
WHY DOES EVERYTHING AROUND ME FEEL SO FAKE
PURPOSELY PUT THERE FOR A REASON I STILL CANT COMPREHEND
ALTHOUGH I ASK FOR HELP, NO ONE LENDS A HAND
NEED TO PROVE TO YOU GODS I'M CAPABLE OF WALKING AMONGST
YOU PERFECT BEINGS. I'VE RAN INTO COLD EMPTY DARKNESS FOR COMFORT
AND THEIR YOU ARE ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR MY ARRIVAL WITH SPOTLIGHTS
REVEALING EVERY ASPECT OF MY LIFE, ITS FU*K**G ANNOYING TO GET ALL YOUR PRIVACY TAKEN AWAY.NOTHINGS SPECIAL ABOUT ME SO WHY ARE YOU DIGESTING MY BRAIN AS IF I WERE A FROG IN BIOLOGY. REDUNDANCE OF WEARY STALKING EYES ON ME,CANT EVEN ENJOY A DAY AT THE PARK WITH MY SON CAUSE THERE YOU ARE, ANYWHERE I GO WHY???

HOPE YOU CAN WALK IN MY SHOES FOR A WEEK TO ENDURE THIS FEELING I BEAR WITH EVERY FU*K**G DAY!

I'M Complex

My id! it is complicated
Psychologically with a high IQ
Highly educated - I walk
My path is quite an endeavor
Compositions quite contrare
I am an artist - I express
My intellect flows when I talk
Communications levels reflect same
Yet in my mind - I can not reach you
If I could - I'd tell it on the mountain
Echoing each erroneous speech
Thus then you I might reach
With theory of repetition Ah!
Indeed ! I see ! You hear
No one listens - redundance sets in
It perturbs me so - feelings within
My peers , they do part
They are far , far away
So each new born given day
I am with you ! I am doomed!
Likewise I am sure I see
It's obnoxiously getting to me
That your id , your IQ
Reflects in the beligarent you
No one's really listening but the birds
They tweet! It becomes me......

Love and Flowers

Love and Flowers

I just had a great idea. Have Poetry Soup eliminate
all advertisements from Poetry Submission Form.
They are really getting to be a pain when I keep
accidentally turning them on. Advertisements are
spread all over the screen and are hard to avoid.
Now for my poem.

I apply much labor which is menial
Planting my each annual and perennial
Including gladiolas that always bend
Hoping together everything will blend.

In the breeze they will blow and sway
Plant them here and there any old way
My backyard has much room to spare
Flowers are now appearing everywhere.

Flowers bloom facing bright afternoon sun
And then when warm day is finally done
They do to them what they think is best
Going in at night so they can take a rest.

When sun comes out are back up again
Say prayers to God and end in an Amen
Thank Him for flowers and color painted
On them so thought I should be sainted.

What you could me is Saint Abundance
Without God there is only redundance
If it wasn't for our God, nothing grows
Best way to plant flowers He always knows.

These Are People

These are people?
These are people.
On the television.
I need redundance
To remind myself
I surmise my sight
Perceives wraith’s
I peer through them
Clean glass onions
Fermenting the soup
Soaking up malleable
Lonely hearts breaking
Like glass that melts
In the quiescent horizon

Great Chicken Soup Which Is Inconclusive

Great Chicken Soup

Just ate some of her great chicken soup
Which really did throw me for a loop;
Had heated up after putting in micro-wave
And stored rest in fridge so I could save.

Then there in mail we received an abundance,
Most of it known for advertising redundance
And on TV started using word transparent
Which I wondered what to was it inherent.

Sure am glad that God is my magnificent man;
He gave me some ice cream believe butter pecan
Which was really great and a pure delight;
My today's life story from morning through night.

Oh, forgot about news show that I had dreaded;
A responsible reporter had been beheaded
Followed by a story about a Brown over-sized kid
Who about, whole neighborhood has flipped their lid.

Like someone so often said,
"Good news is no news at all;
so why should someone try to appall?
As quoted and made by me, myself
and the eye of suspension who I
forgot to mention.
