Men Are Not Dogs
Life is not as cryptic as it sometimes seems
I watched a dog the other day sniffing around the garden
Sniffing here sniffing there
Redundance I figured
But then it started scratching a specific spot
Scratching becomes digging
A frenzy of rapid moving paws and dirt being flung
Already paw-deep in trouble for bad landscaping skills
Paw-deep in the dirt and showing no sign of pause
Then a loud celebratory growlish bark
A eureka moment to put it as such
He has found a juicy bone buried knee deep in the dirt
He retreats tail-waggingly to his shady spot to enjoy his prize
After observing this spectacle I came to realize
That like the dog I should dig deeper and deeper
To find my desired prize
But however the dog left a mess and shows no accountability for it
Men are not dogs
We clean our mess.
