Red Poppy Reminder

the red poppy is almost an orange-red
two of my favorite colors, reminding me of bravery
the red -blooded soldiers who are willing to sacrifice everything
a field of these blooms parade about in my mind’s eye
reminding me to be more patriotic not just on special days

The Abandonment

It was full of long stringy grass which had grown out, all over the back of the house. It hung over the bare walls. The briars were everywhere and they would prick you clean red blooded. The shed widows shattered and the door covered in heavy moss. the thick smoke running out from the chimney looked like it was about to go up in flames. The red ransomes lawnmower was rotted in rust and rooted to the ground by long grass.The clothes line had snapped in half. The tarmac laneway was cracked with weeds pumping out from underneath it all. Remodelling was out of the question. It remained untouched and there was no even sign that anything would change

Raindrops 2

Lugubrious blue mood skies funereal  and morose shed raindrops,
they unleash tableau vivant torrent’s wet tranche,
blessing,  bane or boon from vault of heaven,
damp pearl blob  bewitching moisture mellow morph form, 
the stuff of less than benign grumpy weather grouch,
whose plight infuses yen for sun-drenched bliss,
haven of the ultra-violet swathe enthusiast,
for others raindrops are  a liquid gem relish firmament bequeathed,
to whet voracious craving of nascent pastures,
whose gaunt green blade emaciating stillborn,
that aqueous honey to hue-blazed floral  garden in situ bloomers,
who swallow cloudburst drizzle meed in muted slurps, 
droplet streak and spiral bubble patten on top hung awning window,
empyrean tear beads that roof top tap dance ritual,
so tantalising to the awestruck spellbound eardrum,
or impromptu downward dribbles on romantic saunterers,
prompting boisterous laughter as they flaunt their dome transparent chromium truss umbrella,
those enraptured red-blooded refugees beneath tilting gust spun bumbershoot,
as mud splatter cherry cheek urchins shriek,
amid the spray and splash globules at agile finger tips

Red-Blooded Robots

Do this, do that

Do just what we say

Work here, work there

All the livelong day

Stand up, stand down

Rest your weary head

Turn left, turn right

Work until you're dead

The Mermaids

Sailors from a sinking ship not one shall survive
For mermaids grasp them by the hips
 and to the bottom dive.
Both young and old sailors gasp and drown
 into the deep.
The ocean is a sea of tears in dying they weep.

So beautiful the mermaids are with faces young
red lips and slender necks were strings of pearls hung.
Their hair is long and flowing in every hue a man could desire
their eyes are deep and dreamy set one's heart afire
Their breast are full and perky every red blooded boy would peek
their skin smooth their hands soft make the strongest man weak
But below the waist a fish tail large and ever strong
powerful in the mermaids grasp, no escape forever you belong
She is fast is the Marlin swims with a shark's bite
and the death of drowning sailors brings her an odd delight.

So beware ye mates and sail on never listen to the sirens song
for if you sail to close to the rocky sea coast your ship and life be gone
The mermaid such seductive beauty, tempts a lonely man at sea
but she is the devil fish, your life and soul a pearl on her necklace to bead.

Thoughts With Sacred Feelings

Thoughts with feelings
worthy of engaging
to achieve humanity's full potential

Perhaps
in part
because these memory thoughts
about feelings
are impossible to resiliently achieve
as individuals:

Peace
Integrity
Health
Love
Compassion 
Communion
Grace
Sacred Wealth
Beauty

And
because EarthTribal Loyalty
is impossible to achieve
as merely red-blooded
anthrosupremacists:

Sacred Trust
Hope for Beauty
Omniscient Enlightenment
Omnipresent Empowerment
Omnipotent EcoPolitical Power
one win/win moment
in eternal bilateral 
mindful 0-zone
space/time
body/mind

Impossible Polyphonic Resonance
for global Polypathic Peace
preventing win/lose anthrosupremacist
ecocidal trauma

Restoring EarthCare Justice
to achieve EarthTribal Resilience.

Counting Green Sheep

Our current political identity
is not exclusively red conservative
or blue liberal atheist/humanist

We are also
pissed off sheep
who have gone astray
of richly green domesticated economies,
instead red enslaved,
blue judiciously penned
incorporated property 
belonging to the utmost
OmniPotentating Jehovah

Descending from a long
royalist
blue blood-hierarchy
of Straight White Male
red-blooded religious
and political
and economic privilege.

Our anti-PatriarchalCapitalist anger
is our potential bipartisan win/win
supreme civil citizenship
delivering us from this
Sky Is Falling Kingdom
of win/lose zero-sum 
nationalistic segregated purgatory

And, we bring our angry
fearful,
anxious
depressed bicameral values
into all our cisbinary/transbinary political

economic
religious
reconnecting
neuro-sensory co-passionate engagements

For the woke glory
of Earth's Green

of polyculturally robust
HeavenLight

Earthmuse Fusion

No one loves alone,
sings EarthMother Muse.

No individual person
no isolated incorporation
or musical composition,

No monoculturing society,
No individual nation
or religious denomination,

No Father's WhiteTheistic 
Orthodox 
ChosenPeople Church
or SinFree Synagogue
or Patriarchal Mosque
or Black Lives Assembly,

No transcendently triumphant Kingdom Hall
lives inside health resonantly
while outside remains entirely wealthy
with runaway dissonant loneliness,
despair
depression
oppression
suppression,
lack of multiculturally systemic impression

Neglecting cognitive opportunity
to grow deep intuitive feelings
of integrity

A Red-Blooded American Responds

Forgive me for feeling the need to say
I am neither a Communist nor a Nazi,
I’m a red-blooded American who served
My country in the U. S. Air Force, and,
I have always stood up for what’s right,
And, when bullied, I am up for the fight.
Divisiveness here is getting out of hand,
And probity is not at all being observed
Even hinting that I am a Nazi is crazy!
Forgive me for feeling the need to say.

Irreversible Passions

Loyalty serves solidarity
as passion fuels integral communion.

Passionate patristic patriotism
does not work
for optimizing resilient healthy intent
nor do partisan loyalties
win/win play for resonant wealth
building collaborative feelings,
when the cart
replaces the horse.

Solidarity with my Home Team
my narrowest nuclear family
only those who look
and sound like Straight White Patriarchal 
monotheistic chosen
and grace-privileged wealth
serves loyalty only to further win/lose competitions,

Aspiring champions of small-egominded
and disembodied reductions,
deductions
divisions,
rather than wealthing health co-investments 
in Earth-collaborative consciousness.

RightWing loyalty serves 
LeftWing multicultural solidarity
as red-blooded patristic passion
fuels ecofeminist green communion.

Similarly, 
but more co-arisingly,
safe and resilient cultural wealth
empowers win/win ClimateHealth
or win/lose subclimate supremacy
monoculturally risks fragility
of polycultural green communion
inductive, 
integral, 
inclusive healthy-wealth opportunities.

Oftentimes open and unflappable. 
Repulsed by dishonesty and passiveness.

Alpha men, or security minded
Hearth-side friends. The Bakers winemakers writers confectioners and cakesters
Multitasking always asking
Bright eyes with; teasing laughing!
The fashionistas your skin & blisters I admire.' all of them' '
their innate ken, without such as them; we would be as men indeed poor!

Patriots V Loyalists

True patriots,
regardless of color, creed, or cathartic party,
are loyal to cooperative interdependent change
from below
and within
as needed to liberally balance conserving health
to co-empower compassionately wealthy democracy.

Fake patriots
are like colonial loyalists
supporting patriarchal monocultures,
status quo
business as competitively usual,
dubiously needed to reactively protect 
exclusive
from above 
and outside wealth of kings.

As if patriotic wealth could ever survive
privileged autonomous apartheid,
one way receiving,
without any giving back 
EarthTribe eco-patriotic value.

Passion can overpower
all resonant and dissonant voices,
for a brief flash of reactionary time.

Autonomous passion can behave so loudly,
univocally self-invested,
that Others' passions are no longer heard--
inviting impassioned debate
disinviting dialogue.

When compassion errs,
we are under-powered fragments
fractured from future's long-term opportunities.

Passion shines red-blooded brilliant.
Compassion listens
for cooperative patriotic resilient.
