She: (doubtful and fearful)
You love me only when you see a smile
When dancing in the breeze young and carefree
It's only then you find what is worthwhile
But you don't love what's there, the real me
He: (reassuring)
As the first morning rays shoot skyward
Your smile breaks above the horizon of my heart
Your face radiates joy, dark eyes prancing with delight
Your wind song expanding the sails of my soul
Is this not you that I love?
She: (wanting to believe)
You love me when I make you feel alright
When you are sad and need a warm embrace
You need me when you’re lonely in the night
And then you ask to have my saving grace
He: (reconfirming)
Your love is my refuge, a sanctuary of goodness
You drive away my fears, you dry my tears
Gently I tend your garden singing lightly into the night
Tongue tasting sweet love flavors upon my lips
Is this not you that I love?
She: (confident and assured)
I am the one that you have made me be
A fragile woman yet a woman strong
The faith you have in me has set me free
To be secure in love where I belong
That's why it's you that I love

So many emotions
and no where to go
A sister
who is disappearing
and leaving me
crushed and broken
without a care
A father
who brings
anger and tension
to a distraught home
and its without an end
A friend
with a growing bond
giving us another outlet
and reconfirming our thoughts
we can't let this one go by
A boy
who makes me wonder
and hope with all my heart
I'll just give it time
and another visit
I'm just waiting
for these waves to subside
Children and adults alike look forward to Easter,but for Different reasons.
Children celebrate Easter with thoughts of Easter egg hunts,the Easter
bunny,and baskets of bright colored grass,and candy as far as the eye can see
Adults celebrate Easter in a variety of ways.
Some with thoughts of a renewal of the Earth from it’s long winter
slumber,with green grass in there yards and birds singing in there trees.
While others celebrate with thoughts of the resurrection and ascension of
Christ,once again reconfirming there faith.
But for me,this Easter I celebrate with thoughts of our soldiers in Iraq,and
thoughts of living in a world free from fear and terrorism.
This world is possible my friends.Anything is possible if you just
believe,cause if you believe in something strong enough,how can it not be true.
