Pleased as punch this mother quite proud
Flips up her tail and neighing so loud

Her gait so lively, her head held high
A bright young mama, once a gleam in her eye

Unbridled spirit, feeling so grand
The spitting image of his dear old man

Romping through fields, free of reins
Thundering hoofs, flying mane

A frisky young colt like dad in his day
Who was quite a stud they were heard to say

Then back to the barn when day is done
This spirited young colt was born to run

Resting for a while batteries recharged
Chomping at the bit, a spirit so large

Such unbridled youth, exuberance defined
This pesky young colt, it's his time to shine

walking on water

walking on water
straight to your heart
want your mouth everywhere
everywhere, and i do mean EVERYWHERE!

walking on water
purified and inspired by the depth of your soul
your kisses take me straight to heaven
straight to heaven, and i do mean STRAIGHT TO HEAVEN!

walking on water
feeling exhilarated and recharged by the gentleness of your energy
the warmth of you is therapeutic and amazing
therapeutic and amazing, and i do mean THERAPEUTIC AND AMAZING!

An Abecedarian Year-end Poem

After 365 days of
Balancing our daily routines,
Caring for our loved ones,
Daring to dream of relaxing days - yes,
Even after realising it's all
Futile, we still wait to have our
Great days, our very own
Happy mornings - long live our
Imagination; But let's not just
Judge the year gone past, badly;
Keeping ourselves in good health,
Longing to have some "me time",
Maintaining good relationships -
Never have all these been more important
Or sought after, than in these
Post-covid times - rather, an essential
Quiet gap between difficult times of
Rains, virus and wars, among others;
Somewhere between tragedies, we became
Thankful for the silver linings - appreciating
Universal peace and helping each other;
Vacations and holidays recharged us and I
Wish that we get more of those every year.
X-mas now gives way to the start of a new
Year - a year that I hope keeps us all safe,
Zestful and yearning for a peaceful life.

Premium MemberJuxtaposing Spring and Fall

Autumn in splendor, weaves yellow, gold, red thread,
Into a tapestry of colors, bedspread.
But, how does the Fall compare to Spring's delight,
When blossoms bloom, and green buds renewed, burst bright?

In Spring, nature awakens from winter sleep,
With colors fresh, vibrant, with hope recharged deep.
The splendor of life revived in every bloom,
The promise of rebirth, in fragrant perfume.

Autumn's splendor is never a fall from grace,
It's a celebration, an end of year embrace.
A ticker-tape parade, with confetti thrown
Skyward, the last waltz a splendid epitome.

How does one begin to compare such splendors?
To juxtapose Spring and Fall as contenders
In a stills gallery art show, happenstance!
Alive, parted by time, they're no rivals in dance.

Your colour, Green
You are a Belter
Sunny side up
A helter-skelter
Of emotions

My soul recharged
From brighter skies
Bubble of joy
From the prickly lies
Of the world

Our hearts and minds
You fondly nourish
Circadian reset
Love with a flourish
Of colour

Intense in tents
Intent on intimate
Introspection
Delivering deliberate
Conversation

Above all
A high beauty yield
Back home to a
Beloved Boughton field
In August

Premium MemberMorning Hike

I love returning to the vale;
I feel recharged, hearty, and hale.
It lifts my spirits without fail,
bringing a joy that’s not for sale.
It keeps me lighter on the scale
while still eschewing all that kale.
Missy concurs out on the trail,
takes in the smells, and wags her tail.

Premium MemberThe Humanity Humbly I Pray For Your Well-Being

Humanity I pray
the rest of your day
was fine well
 and may you rest
 and have peace of mind
as well
as being blessed
 in your rest

Awakening
on God's appointed time
on His new day full of...
 rest,  restoration and recharged
you are His Sons His Daughters
and for the rest of your days
 you'll be fine and well
Humbly I pray

Friends Are Heartbeats

Beneath stars, moon crescent
friends naughty, decent
agreed to meet in an instant
no agenda, no time limit
no titles, no inferiority insult
all candid, all explicit
all soaking in buddy spirit

Emotions unlocked
Memories rebooted
Serotonin unleashed
Life battery recharged
Enthusiasm rejuvenated
Bliss Therapy engulfed
Personal grief relegated
Pure joy elevated

Friendship incense burnt
fragrant smoke spiralled
enveloped stars, moon
stars winked, moon blushed
signalling our re-union
no less than their constellation
Stars re-aligned, formed pattern
In sky flashed divine visual, a lesson
'Friends are heartbeats, keeps you alive'

Now In Lecture Halls With Glass

Either she had skipped a class,
Now in lecture halls with Glass
Or had merited The New
For The Quite Brilliant Few:
To no longer mow down grass
Mean labor prefects bypass;
What All Former mates treasure
And strictly take for pleasure
Like Ice-cream-recharged leisure!

It is an Immunity
Not in University
And that’s The Adversity,
For others she shall pity.

Premium MemberSweet Dreams I Found In You-Crd

Sweet dreams I found in you;
In the goodness of the night;
May the angels
Dance before they take flight;
May God give you a blessed pure, sweet rest recharged?
To later in the 7th hour rejuvenate your power
You are glorified, in doweled
You’re God’s Daughter
Meaning this from my heart you are
Well bested and trued
For God and I do so love you;
a fond ado-sweet dreams I found in you;

Obtainable Oblivion In a Major

i see journeys and vacations ahead
i see dreams and smiles that put e to bed

stars shine as streetlights tonight
i visit the depths of slumber without putting up a fight

flowers grow as i think of her
the wishes and the longings causes a prolonged purr

if i ever tasted the mocha flavour of your inner thighs
the sweet scent of you will reinvigorate my wilted nature to rise

when i land at the destination i thought i would never see
the magnificence of your hiccup moans will reawaken the shy passion in me

the fire and the flame, the flame and the fire
the exuberance of the merged eruption, the comforting moral of the desire

in the morning we rejoice like the cardinals singing outside
we return to the world recharged and perfectly back in stride

The Time of Lilacs

At winter end
 comes the time of lilac
pubescent shoots tipped light green
 budding up and down each branch,
young growth stretching, flexing new muscles
 ready and anxious to answer the call;
a gentle but large white sun
 hangs low in the gray blued sky,
spring comes as it often does
 every year around this time
softly waking earth
 shaking loose the ice-cold winter drab
until all is new again
 reborn to grow and blossom;
only time, weathered and season worn
 anguishes to leave some mark;
this aging earth draws from creation itself
 imagining its restart from memory
as humanity appears to remain
 self-absorbed, hard-hearted and indulgent
until living in oblivion
 returns to see taking in the time of lilacs,
natures bounty and beauty recharged.

Missing Touches

The nights are the worst,
as relentless tiring boredom sets in.
The days aren’t much better
the drudgery of dishes, cleaning the fridge
for the third time today.

I almost bathed the dog
but that seemed like taking things a bit too far.
There are corners to clean
and closets to reorganize one more time.

In the world that was before
time didn’t seem so endless, so dragged out.
The hours seemed like minutes.
Nothing has changed except my perspective.

The lack of human touch
leaves my essence in low speed, un-recharged.
Kisses sent through cyber-space
can’t replace the moisture of your kiss upon my face.

With Heart Aglow

Tapping into redemptions dream,
I put my smaller dream aside

And reveled in its greater power,
reclaiming truth from lies

So blessed in this light ablaze,
than by candlelight unknown

In thanks I kindle warm again
recharged—with heart aglow
