One Soul, Two Mortals

VERSE 1
If love can fly like a dove,
It will find peace in your heart.
There flows the fountain of love,
So never let it depart.

CHORUS
True love surely spreads wide wings,
Hate makes it fly far away.
My queen, take me as your king,
Hear my plea, I gently pray.

VERSE 2
A garden for my rose plant,
It blossoms with joy and peace.
Its sweetness none can recant,
For it tastes pure, sweet bliss.

REPEAT CHORUS

BRIDGE
We’re one soul though two mortals,
The mirror showing me joy.
Your heart and mind are portals
To love that will never cloy.

VERSE 3
Whatever song my heart sings,
It’s for your love to hold me.
Save me from the pain life brings,
Set my heart forever free.

REPEAT CHORUS TILL FADE

Premium MemberGuitar Sorcerer

He steps into moonlight, strings ablaze,
A spell-bound master in a midnight haze.
Notes crack like lightning, dark flames rise,
Echoes twisting through spectral skies.

From covens deep and forests old,
He forged a sound both fierce and bold.
A serpent’s hiss, a banshee’s wail,
His fingers dance—an eerie tale.

The runes he carved upon the fret,
Summon storms not soon forget.
A single chord—a whispered curse,
Reality bends, the heavens burst.

Shadows coil around his hands,
Summoned forth from haunted lands.
Specters hum, the witches chant,
A melody none dare recant.

Blackened sparks upon the strings,
Woven spells in trembling things.
A tremolo dark, a sorcery wild,
A lullaby sung by the moon’s lost child.

Thunder answers every shred,
Winds obey the notes he bled.
A final wail—a spectral end,
And silence bows to music’s bend.

Premium MemberWar Within A Psychic Mind

The voice to skull, a ceaseless chant/
Echoes rise, but I shan't recant/
Technology presses, it tries to control/
Yet my psychic mind remains whole/
They yield body possession, twisting form/
Emotion manipulation, their raging storm/
But through astral wars, where shadows creep/
Unyielding, undefeated, my soul does leap/
Assassins strike, yet I defy/
Surviving wounds beneath the sky/
They call me the Antichrist/
A beast rising strong/
Commanding the world/
In battles endless, they call me/
The Beast that rose from the West/
My psychic mind, a fortress vast/
A war eternal, the dice is cast/

Old School
Miracle Man
3/8/2025

High Tech is impeding my remaining old school,
though sometime late in life I made this conscious choice.
That even though some saw me as just some old fool,
That throughout my lifetime my opinions I’d voice.

There are many things that i can no longer do,
but i can accomplish much that some others can't.
I'll remain old school until my lifetime is through,
I've neither will, nor desire, for this to recant.

News, Bah, Humbug
Miracle Man
1/16/2025

I was watching commercials
and was interrupted by news.
Read by opinionated anchors
with vastly dissenting views.

It set me to quietly thinking
which view, if any, might be true.
Would this be the morning
I saw truth makes it’s debut.

Each channel I turned to
gave it’s own political slant.
But before news time ended
they would quickly recant.

Then it’s back to commercials
which cause me to yawn.
But they pay for the news
from sunset until dawn.

Premium MemberIt wasn't all that long ago, The State of the Union

It wasn't all that long ago when covid
choked the world with it's grasp.
People became anxious, some belligerent, when
asked to merely mask.
While others stock piled toilet paper to
wipe their sorry ass..
A million Americans suffered.
A million Americans passed.
Our health care system became overburdened
with such a daunting task..
People craving answers, turned to the experts to ask.
Our Ex. President gave misinformation with a
racist slant, calling covid the "Chinese virus",
he'd over and over recant.
Innocent Asian citizens were aggressively attacked.
This former President refused to abide by the precautions that
were advised. He wouldn't wear a mask and the medical community he criticized.
How many of us Americans would still be here today, if we had
stupidly injected bleach as this President once did say?
Four years wasn't all that long ago dear friends.
Is this the type of leader that Americans want again??

With integrity under fire recant and
You'll be labled liar.' There are riots
On the streets now' parades about
The middle east, sad-guy just counts
Up the fines, he gets from, his u l e z
Low down feats, its not because he's
Muslim..' or the mayor that gives them
Room.? Just one thought an earlier
Britian never lived within such gloom.'

Premium MemberMore broken than wreathen

If by taking a momentarily recant, would you commit me to treason
My thoughts conclusion would only draw a blame
You drew deep breath, blowing out our flame
Pathetic I be, for the worthless way I complain

Inside a massive bleakness, my feelings are proclaim;
With blind eye daggers, my cause was nothing but pain
Expecting found sympathy defines me totally insane
But an ignorant twisted season left something far more broken than wreathen

Dangerous Dalliance

Yesterday the world engaged askance
And as you held my hand
As surely as the firmament of Earth
The hardening of your gaze
Assured my spirit of your recant

It is in the world we know it as time itself
here shadows bend within visions far beyond hope
Mountainous, like regions where eternals dwell
The pillage of my heart takes hold

With things to mend and tasks to undertake
Where luminescent dalliances of shade
Cast orbs betwixt the spheres of dawn
You stand, deft in your repose
And I wait, ready to meet your gaze

Where words of wisdom
Sing within your gaited frame
All hopes of reason rise beyond this dawnless day
And long begotten promises of future fate
Cast only spells of love
And nothing late

Premium MemberA Floating Heart

I see a floating heart in the air;
Drifting by slowly indifferent
passers by simply stop and stare;

Appearing to be heading nowhere
yet somehow it’s so significant;
I see a floating heart in the air;

Leaving a feather line high up there,
an image to delight and enchant
passers by simply stop and stare;

Inspiration beyond compare,
the flavor of which is decadent;
I see a floating heart in the air;

Chasing happiness without a care
erasing the trace of the word can’t ,
passers by simply stop and stare;

Lifted by the mind going elsewhere
such desire you can never recant;
I see a floating heart in the air,
passers by simply stop and stare.

This Need Is Hidden By a Shadow

This need is hidden by a thick shadow,
it conflicts with awareness so shallow;
my searches for unexplained truths
revealed facts I had doubted all along,
was I blamed for creating absurd myths,
defining life a multitude of doubtful events
that decide whether or not one survives...
pushing through a noisy and frantic throng?

Allow worry, arrogance, power, and impatience
control you and you'll have ambivalence;
recant your luck and favor whenever doors won't open
for an easy escape from folly and death...
instead of silencing words and fear harsh judgment:
be aware that what's kept inside becomes regret!
What was the real purpose of mad Macbeth...
to draw the sword with the intention to kill Duncan?
Ponder the source of your insanity today,
and suppress the urge to harm and slay!

This need is hidden by a thick shadow,
how priceless it is not having been discovered yet,
and until freedom is declared by I will shout it:
feeling free, spreading the wings of a sparrow!

Twilight Passes

Night often falls
with the matter unsettled

The pudding unstirred
—as choices recant

Premium MemberRunning From

Creep of extremism leaches in bloodstream, numbing
Route of innate thought unpenetrated, retains nothing
Sacred to the self, - stiff agendas pose as omniscient
Obscures own findings, carves our fragile opalescent

Ignores the phosphor we all hold, outlooks pertinent
Absorbs with proffer of doctrines contract penchant
Squashed compulsion, thwarted inside tight quarter
Squeezes dry the yearn for a gyrated circuit's quaver

Penance is a method administered by axiom rations
Ranks routinely recant individual's intuition ravishing
Shrouded rigmarole causes comprehension to shrivel
Oppresses pirouette quick swing of our mind's swivel

Premium MemberPounding of the Hammer

“I am the monster that breathing men would kill. I am Dracula.”

                                                                Bram Stoker

The successive pounding of the hammer.
The stake in his heart took my breath away.
Came the bright torches, village clamor,
the successive pounding of the hammer.
Rosin of the vampire, screeching glamour,
tightening of cold hands, recant to pray.
The successive pounding of the hammer.
The stake in his heart took my breath away.

Etch-A-Sketch Memory

You linger even after the ghost of you is gone…

I still wear you on my face,
Smell you in my hand,
Taste you on my lips,
Feel you in my hips.

In secret places of my mind
You are still running free.
The only place where truth can bind
To my soul and memory.

Synapses firing,
Shooting off from sensory,
As I recant the day.

Wiped clean from the rain.
A constant wash
Over the portrait once painted.

Like an Etch-A-Sketch
Of a most beautiful day created...

Then shaken from the timeline of me.
