Premium MemberConsciousness recalibrated

miniature tests that now come our way
in as we discern to be insignificant at this time
well, in the past we would have drowned in the waves
but now we are immune, being focused on God’s bliss chime

gush of emotion
pent up feelings
burst forth as release
recalibrated midway
by spherical vision
auto correcting
our direction
by grace

A Landscape of Her Own

After the funeral,
the town changed its street maps,
old houses were relocated. new shops opened
in long emptied malls.

They had never shared their likes or interests,
they had not even shared an equitable life;
now she understood the changing landscape.

Before his death, the town was seen
through his own lens only;
he was ever determined
to shape her view, make her see things his way.

After this post-mortem revelation,
She recalibrated her car’s GPS:
It takes her now
to the as yet
unseen.

Premium MemberRiding the Wavelength

Used to be a steady sound of static
Endlessly emitting from my heart
Couldn't find the right station
Honestly didn't know where to start

Itching to open a line of communication
Linking my mind with my body
Time to fine tune the frequency
Ready for a new wavelength to embody

Retooled, recalibrated, and rebooted
Signal now coming in crystal clear
Need to keep my finger on the pulse
To make sure distractions don't interfere

Now that I'm up and running
Let me lend some bandwidth to you
Make sure to attune your antenna
Let’s flip the channel to something new

We all share the same airwaves
Continuously connected through time and space
Try your best to transmit positive vibes
Broadcasting our rediscovered grace

Premium MemberMy 81st Birthday

Today is my birthday, December fifth
Eighty-one of them I’ve celebrated
And the well-wishes give me a lift
Today is my birthday, December fifth,
Just to be alive is a wonderful gift
Each year a time to get recalibrated,
Today is my birthday, December fifth
Eighty-one of them I’ve celebrated!

Premium MemberFearless In the Void

Rapid currents; we know not how to swim
What is at stake, is life of fleeting form
We let go, celebrating outcome grim
Vibrant in currents delightfully warm

No sooner we surrender, to the flow
The turbulent tides turn in our favour
Free of fear, essence of presence aglow
Relies upon God to be our saviour

To both life or death, perception equal
Each life circumstance, met with nonchalance
Knowing that we are spirit eternal
We flow unbound, in blissful innocence

Our core recalibrated, in stillness
We are as we are, one with that oneness

Premium MemberRecalibrated Core

Getting to a state where thoughts are rested,
Attention poised in the void of stillness,
Detached presence, no conniving twisted,
Aligned form and formless consciousnesses,
Orientation agendalessness,
Vibrantly alive to each occurrence,
Each act done in alignment with conscience;
We thus are and be in tranquility,
Awareness centred in divine parlance,
Epitome of bliss serenity.

She Took Me

She took me to the place where memories are all erased
A place where broken bits and pieces of promises where stored up
She took me to the place where mistakes are all erased,
'fessed up
And cleared up
For what we messed up
And made up
A place where she held me without touch
And kept me without chains
Our minds recalibrated to judge
Cleaning off "lies" remains
Where trust gave itself up too much
And guilt being stubborn as blood stains

But I am heir to the father of understanding,
And I am nursed by mother of acceptance

Tulips of Amsterdam

If you were to inquire of me
To impart my knowledge about flowers
My answer would be this
I have seen with my own eyes the Tulips blossoming in May
In Holland's field's
On a sunny day
The likes of which my eyes had never seen before
Colors divided into rows so rich
Try as I could
I could never explain
What I have seen
In Colors so perfect they rended my eyes blind
In high resolution definition my vision recalibrated
To a new scale and level
A miracle of nature I knew not had existed
Has blessed me with
I was at one with the greatest gift
A rose can not compete with for sheer beauty

Rewired and Recalibrated

don't know what happened
when i was under that vent
for all those days
something
is strange.

i like mustard on my
salad. i hate diet cokes.
i don't like to eat the
things i used to and
it is frustrated me and
my family.

i don't like my clothes.
i asked my friend is this
all we used to do watch
t.v. and discuss what
comes on next. "BORING"

i want to get up and clean
but my body won't mind
me yet.

here is what i really want
to say, i feel nothing.
nothing for people i
once was caring and
worried about. my
emotions are gone.

will i ever get them
back? who am i
now?
