Never freak out when everything goes wrong:
that won’t last long.
Don’t strut your stuff when you’ve raked in a hefty pot:
you’re not so hot.
Whether your life has been a living hell
that Dante couldn’t tell,
or if you’ve basked in the best of everything
the world can bring,
life’s a balancing act. I’ll tell you why:
you’re going to die,
like it or not, so you might as well have fun
before you’re done.
Sip the champagne, buy paintings, sail a yacht,
spend what you’ve got.
Every clock is a time bomb: there’s no way to know
when it will blow.
The mint DeLorean, the Pacific Heights flat,
even your pedigreed cat,
it all ends up, whatever you did,
with your slacker kid.
The trust fund brat and the boy who grew up in a dump
hold hands and jump
into the pit we’re herded toward like cattle.
You hear that rattle?
The gods are shaking your dice: the next sunrise
may be snake eyes.

Man must live with enough, not
with the exorbitant...
We need to be happy
with the happiness of others
around us... thus,
we will live in peace...
But first of all, we need
to have the courage to live in peace!
Distributing is not impoverishing ourselves
materially to help
those who are wronged... doing that is a saintly thing...
we are not that good yet!
But giving, giving ourselves a little more,
is divine... EST MODUS IN REBUS!
As written before, even to do good,
one must have courage...
Returning, living with good principles
we will certainly evolve...
As the poet
Américo Falcão once wrote: "The way God
created things, even the frogs in the marsh
will be angels one day."
Let us be brave, let us distribute
let us give a little more... this is how
God likes and wants it!
There is a fair measure in things
there is a middle ground in everything
there must be order even in the mess
est modus in rebus
We’re reading some Rebus
Connecting up dots
It bends us, it weaves us
In all sorts of knots.
The writer is laughing
We’ve misread the clues
The motive is baffling
One more we change views.
We quickly turn pages
And wait for the twist
But Rebus he taunts us
A flick of the wrist.
He sits in his glory
An Edinburgh bar
Sir Ian shapes our story
While sipping his jar.
And we’re hung out to dry
We’re tortured with doubt
And as hard as we try
We can’t work it out.
The final page greets us
The truth a sharp sting
And Rebus, he saves us
And Rankin’s still king.
Sugary sweet love...
all so much smeared in honey
so luscious got sick...
PS;est modus in rebus
Sambal Tumpang
Disana
Disana, dicabang cabang pohon kedelai
Yang daunya gatal setengah mati
Tumbuh buah buah yaitu biji-biji
Dikupas direndam diragi jadilah tempe
Tiga hari jadilah busuk
Ditanak digerus lalu direbus
Dengan bumbu-bumbu
Rempah
Dan santan kelapa tua
Aku menyukai garam yang asin
Jauh lebih asin dari lidahmu
Tambahkan sayuran rebus
Bayam
Kecambah, daun kunci
atau tidak ada daun kunci
Maka kembang keturipun jadi
Lalu tuangkang sambal kacang
Kemudian tutuplah dengan rempeyek
Biar berkesan sopan
Tahukah kamu apa itu ‘rempeyek’
Tepung beras adonan
yang digoreng setipis kertas
sajikan dengan nasi lunak adalah jodohnya
Tunggulah
Dan santaplah
Ketika matahari hapir terbit

nobody here,
nobody there
I enjoy my breakfast on Jupiter
scattered
and radiant
the shimmery shoreline
rumbles in redness
in sickened harmony
nobody here,
nobody there
the reckless arsonist
has a talent
of unknown origin
what an illusory
amazing paradox
condemned for heresies
for an enormity
to the final battle
mice will march
nobody here,
nobody there
surrounded by
a surreal dominion
strangely through daytime
there is a crux
a rebus
a flux
just like crusaders
for the revelation
mice will march
the order is broken
they will deduce
and I just sit
with a bottle in hands
and watch in silence
nice mice fight
against
the creepy coral cat
still
nobody here,
nobody there
