Mindfulness

Woke up this morning
come to find
can’t recall a thing at all
really think I’ve lost my mind
after sleep digging deep
to collect my thoughts
and what I recollect
amounts to naught
insufficient hard drive RAM
my memory is shot
what I remember as best I can
is not a lot it's diddley-squat
it's failing me
old age is what's ailing me
and yet will I forget
such a harsh reminder
of my younger days
when life was so much kinder
but never mind the state of Denmark
between the ears something's rotten
reduced to tears I believe
it's my amnesia I'd forgotten

Premium MemberStrayed Sheep

Along the roads of grassy fields
where thousands of sheep flit from
Astray from the flock, flouting,
fleeing with fear
blindly following.

Driven through the streets of London
at the Barnet fair to the farmers there.
But the way, takes an insalubrious plot.
Sheer confusion along the countryside
sets in on the herd, then stray
when eddying rapids currented by the tide
and force of the streams give, taken
to an endless frequent float
for great distances steered, stirred
while the timorous turn 'round.
An endeavor to gain the place they set off
As along ancient grassy drove road lies,
weary shepherd and his sheepdog.
Drovers, some on the hoof

The sheep shall stray
back to stay presently in Eden's garden
Jade-green grassy hills of harvest gold,
and cerulean skies.

THE LINES OF THE LIFE

Never gone away from the light,
Never seen the daunting sites,
Never clashed with horrible tides,
Never ceased down the rhythmic rides,
People would think,
What is all ?
It is nothing,
Just semi-rhythmic
tunes of life's hall.
Life is mystery of the circumstances,
People dive through its resultants,
No one knows about this traumatized stream,
So they try to make it a melodious dream.
One who gets distracted by its tough-acts' scheme,
doesn't seem able to dwell into its -bravo! rhymes.
But one, who presents
similar responses
regarding even or uneven situations,
 is proficiently capable
of enjoying all its worthwhile schemes.
So my friends let's dive into its stream,
Sendig to others a melodious theme.
Everything will make pace with the wheel of fortune,
So try to make the life as a melodious tune.

Ram or Ravan

Ram as we all visualize is vibrant light, purity, gentle and charming.
Ravan on the other hand is darkness. evil, hatred and always harming

Back in mythology we learned that it can be a choice made by our actions.
We can choose Ram or Ravan and then be ready for the following reactions.

Ram teaches us what it takes to be a real man for he emerged as a warrior even with discontent.
But then the man in Ravan did not allow him to put the integrity of a lady at stake without consent.

The goodness of Ram is always equated with lots of hardships and struggle.
His relationship gives partnership goals and advice to every married couple.

Ravan always lived life on his own terms and never wanted to be judged or alter his state of mind
The footsteps of whom are supposed to be followed has always been a question of debate for mankind.

There is a Ram and a Ravan believe in every individual on the face of this earth.
It depends on situations which make us cross the line or remain down to earth.

Greg the Ram

Whilst grazing quietly in the paddock
Greg the ram contemplated havoc

It had been an exciting fortnight since
He’d made his despairing owners wince

Bored out of his skull by life on the farm
He had decided to chance his arm

Using his thick woolly coat in defense
He'd shot under the electric fence

He busted the neighbours gate latch
And destroyed their vegetable patch

Then spent a couple of happy hours
Trampling on prize winning flowers

The hullabaloo was enormously fun
He was experiencing life on the run!

Whereas life before had been passive
Now his desire for adventure was massive

Now Greg plans escapes all day long
Watching for opportunity to come along

And his owners nerves are shredded
Turns out... Greg is not woolly-headed

Inauguration of Ram Mandir,Ayodhya

RAM is the incarnation of love,
Fill your arid heart with the springs
Of tears.
He is the sword shining in the battleground,
Bend your head upon His feet.
The mind is the vast sea without shore,
Beg Him to have the divine flower.
The lifting wave is His spirit,
Let your sins off into it.
There is no more beauty than the flowers
Have it's said,
But Shree RAM is the beauty of all
Beauties; the God of all Gods; and
The Creator of all creations.
He travels through the wave of
Pace and time.
Make a temple into your refined heart,
And let Him sit there;
And lose yourself in thinking
Of his majesty infinite.

The Ram-Rod

A ram-rod told his riders to
Listen to what he tells them to do
When the cows got away
He told them to stay
So, the rest escaped, oh It's true

Premium MemberRam Pump Song

Ram pump going
    ka-thunk, ka-thunk
Water flowing
    ka-thunk, ka-thunk
Rain’s not slowing
    ka-thunk, ka-thunk
Spray still throwing
    ka-thunk, ka-thunk
It’s good knowing
    ka-thunk, ka-thunk
Uphill rowing
    ka-thunk, ka-thunk
Still mind-blowing
    ka-thunk, ka-thunk
Summer growing
    ka-thunk, ka-thunk
Berries showing
    ka-thunk, ka-thunk
Who’d a-thunk?

Premium MemberRam and Goat Are In Love

They are in love said the delighted cow.
Different species and body types, so how?
Question from pig with an intelligent mind.
Not sure, but both are sincere, sweet and kind.,

Ram and Goat overlooked the mean naysayers though.
Focused on their mutual admiration, no lie or woe.
Cuddled up together in the barnyard all cozy at night.
Their comradeship was soon in no way a surprising sight.

They are totally I love, the dappled horse agreed.
Two animals who are in no way the same breed.
Their friendship sanctioned by angels and ancestors above.
Afterall, you love who you love who you love who you love.

Premium MemberRam Girl Was Rarely Depressed

We never knew her real name, called her Ram Girl Bailey.
She was fluffy like her namesakes, her life placid and boring.
Stayed to herself, loving rams, nurturing them daily.
She bleated like them, her empathy for them soaring.

Ram Girl Bailey never married but was happier than others.
She rarely had depressing days, anger or any strife.
Spending her life among ram babies and their thoughtful mothers.
We never understood it, but it was her best kind of life.

Being Sita

When I was kidnapped by demon king Ravan,
Not just me but Ram too was equally broken!
He searched for me day and night,
Took help of everyone in the forest and geared up to fight,
Against the demon who has stolen his dear wife,
with all his might!

Good prevailed over the evil and my Ram brought me back after a wait of so many torturous years!
We became King and Queen of our kingdom Ayodhya!
But our subjects doubted my dignity,
And blamed Ram for loving, trusting and standing by me!
So to keep our love untained, I had to leave him and go to the forest alone again!
Modern people often question the love of Ram for me,
Alleging that he enjoyed a luxurious life giving his pregnant wife an exile!

While only I know it was more difficult for him than me,
To send away a piece of his heart, his soul only to satisfy the doubts of cruel public!
We both suffered pain of separation for years,
And when finally our kids united us,
I decided not to be the queen of the selfish subjects,
So I chose to go back in the lap of mother Earth!
Being Sita is not easy but remember being Ram is also equally difficult!!

    -Sudipta
