Invisibility Due To My Reality and Fantasy Put Together

I"m like a legend
I'm stronger than I realize
No pride - be humble

Don't act so foolish
Don't get carried away, bro
Laughter and anguish

Trials faced are awful
Feels like I'm at a dead end
You miss laughter, oh?

We should be happy
Be grateful for what we have
Even if I am snappy

I'm my own hero
I choose sheer peace, not war
I'm hurt to the core

I'm supposedly
Invincible and bold - sweet!
I have empathy

Pieces Put Together Again

While all of my pieces are slowly put back together they seem to be scattered, torn and battered they are the person I wasn't meant to be. I am a puzzle of the many pieces I once was, now they are forming a beautiful and distinct inspiration of something bigger and better that came from my original piece.
I am no longer a puppet of someone else's will nor am I a prisoner of my body and mind. Even though a simple smell, touch or place will pose a trigger or a memory of long ago. I will no longer allow those senses to control me and what I have become. I now feel affection from the ones I love. I feel the comfort from their warm embraces where before I felt empty and cold with fear that no one dares to faces. Now I can show my pieces even though they are not my whole. I am more to this flesh and blood, my skin does not portray who or lied beneath, my expressions now show how I really feel and my eyes can now tell the stories of all the untold.

A Few of My Short Poems Put Together

Silently she slips
into another dream
she drifts through an illusion
that cloaks her memories in an eclipse
a shadow of her life
a reminder of the grief and strife
she's met by promises that cant come true
they lie on her soul like the morning dew

in the shattered mirror she lies
as broken as the memories she despised
in her dreams she painfully cries
desperately wanting to break free of the guise

Is this all one big dream
wanting to see through blind eyes
is a certain madness taking hold
or am i simply being far too bold?

Can i do it once again
bring myself to what ive been
slave away in the past
and forget the future that cannot last?

What thought she demurred
A dream that's deterred
Twice it sank
Twice it burned
And left with life undiscerned

can you know what you leave behind
when you move onto another road
to not see what others will find
a used up empty load
crying in the background

how the tides have changed
and as surely as the sun rises
the waves shall recede
a salty shore battered and broken
outcries in the dawn
of empowering need
left unspoken

For What God Has Put Together

My love (Howard Basden)for
when we first
started talking our friends
displayed happiness for us. As
time goes by GOD has revealed
who our true friends really are!
For what we thought was
happiness from them to us has
diminished. The untrue friends
can't stand see how we
communicate, how we embrace
each other, how we
compromise most of all how we
have decided to stand on our
word and do what we know is
right! They try to give us the
worldly reasons why we don't
need to wait until we are
married to copulate. They try to
put things in our mind to cause
a friction between us but I'm
glad to say for whatever
worldly ideas and/or reasons
they can come up with it will
not cause us to part for God
has put this together and for
whatever He has put together
no man can severe.

Pieces Put Together

A box of pieces purchased for the price of licensed parchment
Poured out and placed in piles prepared to be resorted with patience
Put together so the picture is no longer a puzzle
