Has-Beans

One cup was enough
to curl his toes
as caffeine
the psychoactive chemical
allowed no doze
or more than a mug
no matter how roasted
the polyphenols
affected his free radicals
'til he did feel really quite toasted
and yet with no wish to upset
the happy home
after so many years of married life
he chose to grin and bear it
the 'Harried Hubby' syndrome
for altho' his dear wife
brewed her coffee in a pot
bad-tasting as it was
grounds for divorce
it was not

Long Night

He turned off the running water,
soaped his face not glancing at the mirror,
a long night ahead.

He had four shadows
on the four walls of this rental,
not a good sign.

When later he turned the bedside light on,
the glowing silhouette of his head on the pillow
burgeoned, swelling upwards until
it pancaked on the ceiling above.

Still groggy after the hashish
still psychoactive,
he got dressed.

Out walking the dark Luxor streets
he found a coffee shop still open.
The thick sweet brew was served to him,
a lime green dwarf
sporting a banana yellow fez.

Never again he thought,
patting his pockets hoping to find
some curative cancer sticks.

Captivated

CAPTIVATED

This is odd. Well, more than odd
Something that is sort of weird
As if a strange thing appeared
And into my memory, seared
Then jabbed with a cattle prod

If it is abnormal, I’m not bored
Holding me tight in its embrace
Attentive, like it’s on my case
Keeping me firmly in my place
A Gordian knot needs a sword

Others may not feel this pull
A tight focus on my thoughts
They clearly ignored reports
Rumours dismissed with snorts
So they will never feel this full

I cannot think, I cannot move
This thing has me in its spell
Such captivation, I know it well
Applied logic seems not to gel
Maybe I’ve something to prove

Am I now stuck like this forever
In this strange entranced state
Some might say it was my fate
By leaving my escape too late
Is it now just futile endeavour

Can I break this mystery bond
That holds me in its tight grip
Not unlike a psychoactive trip
So it’s time to pull down that zip
And focus to see what’s beyond

Drug

A state of every mind full of stuffs or empty
 What it needs a drug?
A pain, a pleasure, spiritual, religious…
In every gathering is like a form of drug
For physiological change in body
Daily consumption of beverage as the day begins
A start up plan like a bed tea
Common drug caffeine, tannin
Rejuvenating a new ideas pouring
In a morning and evening coffee or a tea
A sip is needed to psychoactive the mind
During the pain what it needs a painkiller?
Mazatec shaman like a Spiritual cognition
Nootropics like a smart drug improving the brain functioning
On other hands Injected and absorbed and sometimes
Smoked bubbled combined hallucination alcohol
Intoxicating and Lowering the central nervous system
Feeling as if Body above the layer of ground
Glutton behaviours a magic of drug
a vomiting feels its impact
But a drug is a game player
And you feel like you are not you
it can make or mar one’s life so decide with your choice judiciously.

FROMTHIS2THAT

Biscuits and gravy
Salads and snot
Chicken fried salamanders
The clams and mussels
The oysters	the army marines and the navy
No such relief will be brought
Delusions of Grandeur
The dankness in disparity the putridity
The slackened standards
Oh the wasted cognation
The scabs
The gangrene
The horrible rot!

An expired emotion
A disgusting thought
The ocean of death
Fighting the tide
Like a bucket of sand
The Crabs scatter from futility
All mollusk moan in aggravation
The morbid discord a bandless eulogy
Education leaves so much untaught
The mind bending psychoactive laughs
Lighting the darkened inside

The genetic modification progressively paves this path
The superhuman sublime Externalized id
The age of science and the prosperity it has brought
The genome split, the double helix divide
Biochemical experimentation
Brings forth the future of man
The savage beast	-	laboratory tamed
The super-naught delivers the human
child from the caves to the Promised Land.

Awesome Sauce

lazy electrons
select correctly
for a hard working dawn
my schematics are smothered
in positive provocative ions
can't wait to see you
in a nice classy black thong

psychoactive therapeutics
cycle through sedative terror optics
I bask in the error of righteous lunatics
monday night slippery pistol grips
doing it right, no hype
sex toys
bondage tape
frozen grapes and feathered whips
I could spend all day squeezing your hips

the rough riding randomness
of my erratic energetic lust
all I want is to take my time and touch
and touch
and touch
and touch
