He did not want to embarrass her, so he dressed the part
He came to meet her family, he broke out in merry song.
She knew at that moment no other fish could ever have her heart.
We need to get married, he told her. White your name on this line.
She bought a funny pencil that would make the color he had demanded.
He had no idea why it took her so long or why she continued to whine.
Not being able to say “Wr” was totally underhanded.
Out west we say ky-OAT-ee"
as it rhymes with po -et-ry
near rhyme is enough
for those with edges rough
it’s good enough for us

Is the logic of a lioness the same as a dogfish? Or a display in a shop window of pretty pink kittens? Very definite is a definition of derived detail. Oh look over there. Quickly. The window in the furniture store has become quite alive. The chair is moving away from the table and the table leg is attempting to snare the chair but it isn't working. Oh such commentary of the wall clock. Standing proudly on the street. Admiring the sun clad people in shirts skirts and shorts. Ready for a little time in the waves. But waves are not wiry nor weaves. And a polish arriving is a main line attempt to break into a glamorous mermaid glass. And so it has a day in the country air to dash up and down. Chasing sticks. Sticks sticking salivating salty sprat of spray. But not in a yawn is a yard and no harsh hound is a hateful hasty hairbrush. But hairbreadth is said to be useful for a comb to attempt keep fit and therefore remain toned. Ha the undertones of an untamed unfathomable unicorn. Ha a beak of a silver cup chatting. Xxxx intoxication z z z z at nineteen peeled grape slices to zero ground driving drips. Z z z z z

In Life and Love so sweetly
For everything I could ever desire
Equals exactly what you inspire
Because all I ever wanted to see

I am convinced the stars reflect your eyes,
Much like the moon does for the burning sun;
If I'm correct our sun could never die,
Until the day which to the Earth you shun.
Let's watch the Earth set in the morning blaze,
And dread the time when it begins to lift,
Cuz in your light is where I want to stay
And nighttime glow is such a deathly shift;
Though all you carry is serenity,
The moonlight determines an anxious flow.
The world's desire Is your majesty,
And limits cause our cold hearts to be sow'd.
I would not find pride in self perfection
Because you're beyond all of its tension
I was sick of seeing one plate, fork, and knife
And that lonely cup of drink
As if I was a piece in a painted still life
Like those dishes placed in the sink
So I clicked on a dating site as the others
Seeking a fine baby boomer
And in time chose one of the likeliest lovers
Who laughed at my sense of humor.
We emailed, and Facebooked and tweeted on Twitter
Then Skyped every single night
Though we lived far away, I knew I wouldn’t quit her
‘Til we got our liaison right.
We transmitted vows over the wireless sky
And kept each of them sweet and short
Then after being pronounced, husbandwidth and wifi
We kissed through a USB port
