History doesn't matter if its aesthetic

Hot summers dry up the land
The dirt crumbles under the heaviness of disrespect
Fresh flowers adorn the land
Covering the uneven burial grounds
Overshadowed by privilege

What better way to claim superiority
By soiling the plantation they stand on
Ignorance crowds the air
Cast aside by vows of love
Tainting history with a wedding
The stories of black labour whitewashed into a picture of a bride in white
Covering the truths in a veil of fragility
Ironic how they use the innocence of a white wedding
To ink over history

A picture is worth a thousand words
A simple picture of a now conjoined family
Haunted by secrets of ownership
How the brides grandmother was once a girl
Who stood on this same plantation
Watching her parents become slave owners
A simple picture
Once innocent becomes a sinister backstory
A history haunted by the darkness of whiteness

Flower petals spread across the venue of black bones
Not to pay respect to those buried
But to honour love consummated on the grounds of black history
Smiling in pictures with a tainted memory
Plastered in magazines profiting off of slavery
But hey at least they gained popularity

Howdy kids, just checking in.Contrary to every ornery ,,fear mongering,
Youtube posting ,profiting from our angst, jackasses ,oh yeah and the nightly news, so far we have made it through the much prophecied eclipse. My daughter and I took it in together outside the gym we go to.You had a parking lot of people on one side and me and my daughter alone on the opposite side alongside our cars for quick take off should the zombie apocolypse commence. When totality was reached applause took place ,a little premptively I thought .Would it not be better to save it for the suns return ? I had been telling her that supposedly to the upper !eft of the sun during totality you should be able to see Jupitor, and at the three and four oclock area mercury venus, and mars. When it happened I looked up to see if I could see Jupitor and saw two fuzzy but good sized orbs in that general area.I alerted my cosmic viewing companion who pointed out they were the parking lot lights that had come on.Anyway,we had fun, nothing untoward occurred to my knowledge, and trust me ,I was looking Still am. Your friend, one spooked kook .

Rattling Thoughts

It is night's first light — evening
The world thinks through my mind
The echoes of a bittersweet day whisper
My ears twitch, my heart pricks

A pressed edge leans forward
Shouldering the offices of the earth
A desire to just surmount the hurdles
Like an infant falls yet learns to walk

The one weary of deferred hope
The other elated 'bout a filled cup
The one broken to a love unrequited, at least lost
The other happy, healed at finding love

Life's but a parody of exhilarations
A gnome ignited by fiery undergoings
The man, an eloquent stammerer
Profiting and lossing to antiquity

Love, life, life and love — there's no life or love without wins
Pa, ma, lad and lass — you have no family without wins
Works, rest, rest from works — there's no rest without wins
Wisdom, wits and will will wither — to live is to first die

Blessed are those
who love God, the
God of love and
mercy

Blessed are those
who follow one God,
who leads with
compassion showing
mercy

Cursed are those
who follow the Prince
of darkness, who fell
from Heaven dragged
down by the weight
Lesser Ego --

He who shows no Mercy
will be shown no Mercy

A Terrorist is the
Son of the Devil
a Harlot of Evil

All Lives Matter

Even the whores
of the press, the whores
of politics, and those
building mansions

profiting from war

let those who hear
with ears yet open
pause and listen to
the tender heart of
wisdom

while those darkened.
Shut off souls, will know
the Fires of Purification

So written
in the annals of
bloody history

Threats On Doors

The loud threats on the doors inscribed
Were from a Union just proscribed
For struggles it bloodshed prescribed,
And for them four Networks subscribed.

A group the men on top proscribed
But still with men she neatly bribed
And to them The Cheating described...

A clique the falsest strength ascribed,
Though parading some fierce scribes,
A lot profiting from mere vibes...

Her threats on doors in each walking street
Merely breathing the Vainly Sweet

Bring the Troops Home

They willfully exile themselves from fight,
turn into friendly sports their military training,
warming their old cold beds.
Save your charitable cause of lauding the warriors and
the body bags, and save your tears too, they frighten the
spirits, blind them with your waving flags, devour them with
your open enthusiasm for the new recruits who bought into the fable,
the fantasy that might rival the old St. Patrick's big bells.
You may serve them with cups and cakes,
bringing divinity to your noble cause, seldom think of
war a place of heroism, of fancy, as long as it's far apart.
You appear and speak only on stage,
profiting from war's rage.

Broken Compass

Tried to escape
on two occasions
But fell deeper
in love
from every return
She never played fair.
Ransomed souls
 profiting from
bodily affairs.
Spiritually raped
yet finding heaven
in the simplest touch
I can feel heat
 rippling through
chilled air
by turning
her mental on.
Her surrendered femininity
Waves the white flag
of my masculinity
Becoming one
and then some
Every wrong turn
signaled a path
full of detours
rarely asking
for directions
The closest thing
to true I ever known
even if I spin
My arrow points to you.

Premium MemberThe Most Important Meal of the Day

Your breakfast is really so important
for it starts you off on every single day
many say its the day's most essential food
without it, you're not the same so some say

My usual breakfast for each day
40g of special k in my special bowl
mixed with a banana cut in slices
add some raisins and milk, let's roll!

Of course a nice cup of tea
with milk no sugar to top it off
then you feel ready to face the day
now that's splendid don't you agree?

But on holiday bI like a change
like croissant with butter to spread
along with my favourite raspberry jam
nice and flaky with coffee the right blend

So that's what makes my fab breakfast
enjoying that lovely early morning meal
setting you up for the rest of the day
profiting much to know it's the real deal

Premium MemberRecycling: Why's- Wise

we are creatures of...
a time lapse

that digest only in fractions...
about 1/14rh of each second

while 13/14ths escape us...
with respect cause and effects

we love the curiosity of cats but...
lay claim to some inner self image

echoes of creations mythological analogies...
from surviving untold 'centuries of millennias'

of change at least as intelligently as cats because...
human kind survives by asking the right questions

which means we as rational beings have a power to see what is...
within/without by way of practical and abstracted logics

so the 13/14ths of the pi that disappeared right in/of the light of day...
off the eye's 'window sill' without our knowing anything

more about it than rational is our choice over confusion and...
we - who what when where and why - wise dream too much

i mean - buttoned down screwed up reality images of ego...
greed power possession and re-vengance as war to serve...

scam artists profiting off the 'who when where and why' that bows...
some to a what that's supposed to be a good reason for their deaths

Premium MemberPrivileged Pilgrim

All Powerful Provider present in all places
Potentate presiding our prayers and praises
I'm a pilgrim privileged to be in Your presence
Panting like a deer for Your pure precepts
Profiting from Your priceless pearls of prudence
Provisioned by Your proverbial pages of Scripture
Preserved from pagan practices
Predestined to be Your progeny
Placed in Your perfect plan
Partaker of Your precious promises
Purified by Christ's pouring blood of persecution
Preferred above praiseworthy people
Performing priestly purposes
Planted in the perennial picture of paradise
Patiently preparing for Your Parousia

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is but a show of self gratification
Portrayed by a deceiver to escape condemnation

To showcase self a being of virtue and righteousness
Every man would gladly play the two faced card of forgiveness

Yet the cunningness of forgiveness must be unraveled
For the selfish nature of man has made man crooked

To offer freely to a stronger person tolerance
Yet, from a weaker person for the same crime seek vengeance

Man has fine tuned the show of virtue to suit need
Placing priorities first upon what feeds his greed

The loyalty of men is forever bought by reason
With a changing appearance designed to survive every season

That a lion hunts not a galloping polar bear
Gives not a zebra the courage to dwell with him so near

The nature of man declares him not a blatant fool
For every man would sharpen first his most profiting tool

So if ever man is seen forging such show as he lives
Believe not in his words for only a fool forgives.

In Search of the Cream

Is someone profiting on your wishes and dreams,
renaming your parade

Like a thief in the night they steal every wish,
their own life at best a charade

Is someone else cashing the check you just wrote,
to pay for their larcenous schemes

Has your good name been kidnapped, indentured, enslaved
—as you curdle in search of the cream

The Time Is Now

The time is now

This morning I rose, of sorts
The sun came up too
Without my hoist and sling
That’s the thing

And the sunshine rings its bell
Among the fires darkening their hell
As our temperature rises
Our is you and me
All of us,

This part we play on earth
Life, death, birth
In various orders or disorders
We record each event with posts
To avoid our hosts
Unknown, unseen,
The epitome of mean
And evil

They seem natural
In their role of boss
As the climate changes
It is our loss, not theirs
They and their heirs
Look for new ways of profiting
Among the green filled bath
And we fall for their
Almost every time

No more, here is their door
The new Marie Antoinettes will get no more
Than they deserve
To preserve our very nature
We need a new one
Come, the time is nigh
The time is now

This One

This one right here
Is probably
More properly
Suited for persons of poverty
Pondering robbery
Constantly on the street
Profiting from a pharmacy
State of mind
And honestly i dont need
Cops to be watching me
Thinking there on to me
Having my fingers crossing eachother
Behind my back
As they latch handcuffs on to me
Walking me to the back of there ride
And sending me out to county processing
Where i'll just be
Wating for them to be tossin me
In a cell in these halls believed
To cause corrections

The Passing Stranger

Watch ye the passing stranger
But watch more your brothers and sisters
Who slew Abel as we was told
And who and who had Joseph sold

Watch ye the passing stranger
But watch more your own dear mother
For we have known the deceit of Rebecca
And the errs of Achilles's mother

Watch ye the passing stranger
But watch more your loving father
To a higher purchase Isaac was a sacrifice
And did not Lot offer his daughters as price

Watch ye the passing stranger
But watch more your closest neighbor
Have yet not heard the Samaritan's parable
And how often neighbors being trouble

Watch ye the passing stranger
But watch more your dearest friends
Ye need not be told again the fall of Caesar
And the most profiting kiss of Judas

Watch ye the passing stranger
But watch more your darling lover
There are but many more Delialahs
And quite a number of Queen Elenas

Watch ye the passing stranger
But watch more your own dear members
For what no man knows no man could tell
And only the tortoise can speak of its shell
