Broken Compass

Tried to escape
on two occasions
But fell deeper
in love
from every return
She never played fair.
Ransomed souls
 profiting from
bodily affairs.
Spiritually raped
yet finding heaven
in the simplest touch
I can feel heat
 rippling through
chilled air
by turning
her mental on.
Her surrendered femininity
Waves the white flag
of my masculinity
Becoming one
and then some
Every wrong turn
signaled a path
full of detours
rarely asking
for directions
The closest thing
to true I ever known
even if I spin
My arrow points to you.
