Greetings, have your eyes wide open.
Take in every sound and sight.
Place a bet, push forth your chips,
Let the game commence.
The game is going in your favor,
Have a drink or two.
Widen your grin,
The fun is only going to get better.
You've won!
Next game, new bet, a fresh challenger
Who is also a guest?
Both of you are likely to win,
The Beast Hotel only has happy customers.
Again and again, place forth your chips.
The bets are made,
As the game commences,
Over and over money is lost and won.
Gamble as another game lures you in.
Another chance to gain more riches.
More and more you can gain,
Challenge other guests to line your pockets.
You may bet them anything they have,
even their personhood.
The higher the bet, a greater reward.
New bets, new rewards
This is a profitable risk.
Discipline toward
functional goodness…
That’s kindness
bereft of self-praise
done for God’s honour!
Profitable*
are chastisements
leading to great
transformation.
Here am I…
…yielding to
corrections.
Lord, now
I stay…

She decided to get as creative with work to provide as one could really ever be,
She posted up ad after ad of all her skills and talents of diverse variety,
Mail after mail is now come streaming in from planting flowers to doing a lawn,
Posting her skills on vegetable gardens, lawns and flowers and it did spawn.
Her ideas and pursuits burst into a roaring type of a productive flame,
Emails streaming in today which was what she wanted and her aim,
From walking dogs, gardening, and even sitting your very cute pet,
My hard would will pay off as I had figured and do well with it I bet.
I chose labor skills too that were also healthy and full of activity to do outside,
Enjoying my new slender figure that before I use to be ashamed of and hide,
So here is to my new adventure as I try to keep up with new little business,
I see myself needing to worry about money after this experiment less and less!
You become profitable my friend
if you rush into the elite
but expect that you also can
become worn.
