We are all children of the moon, restless, wandering in primordial light,
Oscillating in pure light that carries us beyond time, like a lost dream,
We come from an undefined nowhere, without a destination on the maps of the universe,
We just shimmer, without reason, without purpose, in the silent dance of snow stars,
This is our beauty, our grace that embraces the unknown,
We never truly know who we are and we do not care to find out,
We succumb to oblivion, floating in an ocean of nothingness and void,
Without finding any reason to exist, lost in unanswered questions,
We do not know what anything means, but we never care about this truth,
For as we are, we shine like the eternal diamonds of infinity,
In a cosmos that embraces us and soothes us with its profound mystery,
We lose ourselves in the flow of time, in a silent poetry of ephemeral existence.

Premium MemberI wish to love you with a primordial intensity

I wish to love you with a primordial intensity,
An ancestral cry born from the chaos of the soul,
Embracing you with a wild and pure force,
Not with words that dissipate in the wind of forgetfulness,
But with raw cries from the hidden corners of my being,
A love that flows like melted, hot honey,
An ecstasy that consumes me to the very last fragment,
Leaving me stripped of all my old masks,
Divested of old identities and reborn anew,
Carried on the wings of a passion without limits,
Just as the waves secretly embrace the shore,
My love envelops you like an ancient song,
Resonating beyond time and space,
In a symphony of deep and pure silence,
Leaving me bare and reborn in emotions.

My Primordial Wound

Taken away at birth...
Damaged to human touch...
So I don't like to feel much...
Me and my primordial wound.

I have a hole in my chest...
one that food, sex and drugs cannot sate...
so please don't embrace me unless you can relate...
to me and my primordial wound!

You say you don't see color...
but to you I'm still just another...
and you wonder why I search for my mother...
Me and my primordial wound!

You adopted me but ignore my issues...
so I rain down my sadness into tissues...
so to my adoptive family, I don't miss you!
Me and my primordial wound!

Premium MemberThe Primordial World of Love

White doves flutter and longing words whisper
silence waxes haunting as Angels sing
a lone filtered light turns a soft glister
casts fleeting shadows from a white dove's wing
this arrow of light has pierced the dusk-gray
to light the face where my heart will wander
where my eyes are welcome and I will stay
captured by my love's smoldering ardor
as stars gleam and the twilight surrenders
wrapped by the moonlight, love we'll discover
at this time for us, we'll find love's treasures
a wondrous wonder so warm and tender
this primordial world of breathless sighs
this passion's realm found in my lover's eyes

Premium MemberListen To Your Dog

Your dog has an indispensable dispatch,
a critical communique.
Are you listening?

Your dog is howling at sirens,
		          annoying all your neighbors.
Have you noticed?

Your dog’s evolutionary chain from wolves,
			    a prescriptive instinct.
Are you appreciating?

Your dog’s howling though, is much more,
the opening of a primordial door,
the call to a roaming distant pack,
a whining ballad to wilder tribe crying back.

Your dog prays to something larger than himself,
and because you are leading the pack,
                  it includes you.

This then, a necessity to survive.
This then, the most fundamental meaning
		of God!

Your dog is howling at sirens.
	Listen to your dog!

Primordial Sin

Saša Milivojev - PRIMORDIAL SIN

East
I exist
I stand
Frozen in a cursed temple
A black crow in my hand
Blood is trickling down the frescoes
Grave suffering
Saints are crying
Walls are moaning
Like an echo from the past
The fog
Before the sacred altar
It’s all desolate
Like the Sahara
My heart is being torn apart
It’s all black
The only thing shining above
Is a half of the innocent Jesus Christ
I exist
I stand
Frozen
I feed on sinful blood
I move to the West
To the cathedral for an attack
Feeding the flock with my poems
And there I find the same
Myself standing
Frozen
Afraid of the hoarse sound of the organ
But since I exist
I will not allow
Oneness to be on two world’s sides
Fate is still cursed
I stand
Singing a sad song in the choir
Frozen
Like a chestnut in the wood
Helpless
I stand
Frozen
I
Where the sun rises
And me here
Emptiness
I have nowhere to go
Crucify me too
Without the last sip of wine

Primordial Swill

I looked up to see
A voracious mite looking down at me
                                    Looking up to see
Glowing plankton looking down at me
                                    Looking up to see
Busy Nano in the primordial swill
                                    Looking down at me
                                     Looking up to see
                               The alarm clock telling me
Wake up and go to work

I had a great time writing this poem for Nina Parmenter's

Sonnet 39 'There Is a Restless Stirring In the Breast'

There is a restless stirring in the breast,
A Sap, not even wakened Summer brings…
No song, but the beginnings of a Song,
A few notes hinting unenvisaged things
Seed-words, that – as yet – cannot quite be sung
Foundation-stones of temples yet unborn.
As a hero in the womb still sucks his thumb,
As the shadow of a sapling’s thin and wan,
So does the Spirit of the Resurrection,
Entombed no more, speak softly at the dawn:
‘O touch me not, for I am not yet risen!
Go tell the others that I am not gone!’
And every Christ and angel and elf sings,
The Gladness of the Day, that Easter brings!

Eldritch Heart

In the depths of the forest

I feel its eldritch heart,

Deep down in the forest

I feels its harm,

Yet in the depths of the forest

You can still feel its peace,

Still feel the primordial power that sleeps

Deep down within the heart of every tree,

We need to make a stand as a humanity,

To save and protect the eldritch wood

A world without forests is a world no good

For human habitation, so don't let it be misunderstood

Human life depends on leaf, sap and wood.
