The blue

The suffocating structure of the water
Engulfing my lungs,
My body,my bones.
Shivering with my skin,
I feel as if I'm not alone.
I can hear the waters strong winds growling in my ears,
A roaring sound
Pounding in my head
Yet so quiet...
So quiet, your listening
Your breathing...
My opposite...Air.
Im water, my body flows
My lungs have disappeared,... expired.
Frisson, one last gasp.

Pounding Pavement

Lights out, money down, homelessness is near
Cold night's, food light, no future clear
Search seek, long weeks, falling in reverse
Crash boom, life gloom, fight the curse

Depression sets, what's next, unlucky enough
Time still, hours to kill, calloused skin tough
Fears to reject, nothing connects, standing ground
Mentally fit, unable to quit, pavement to pound

The blue skies are clear again,
No wind tears apart,
yet the sound of pounding rain
beats against my heart,

The clear sky will darkle soon,
Thunder will go boom,
Prepare to hear rain's sweet tune,
And watch lightning zoom,

Listen to that faint drumming,
That relentless din,
Pit-pat, the rains are coming,
I feel it within.

Premium MemberThis Town

This is the town
Where love grew to life
Inspired by your smile
The twinkling in your eyes

This is the town
Where the music drifted
Up through our feelings
Rhythm like the open road
On a breathless summer night

This is the town
Where laughter sounds like home,
Whispering comfortable
In each embrace, praying, gentling
With His inspiring grace

This is the town
Where light falls down
Beneath the moon and stars
Glow, lifting the heart, the soul
With a trembling touch

This touch, trembling
Like the darkness of a past
Threat, love still sweet
From the heart, sincere as love, from the heart
A quiet town – from the heart

This is the town that brought my hope
To life, my dream into the light
My silence a voice, freeing me from the night
A quiet town – sincere as love, from the heart
Feelings – from the heart!

Premium MemberWind Is Pounding In My Heart

'wind is pounding in my heart'

It tears across the steppes and plain, it guides my mind and eases pain
Whithin the yurt, upon the road, it whets my mind; eases the loads
I've rode it's Breast ten thousand times,' with banner high the yak tails nine
Its of my blood, throughout my race, we hold it near'in flood; or trace
It's face is clear,, it's embrace strong, we sing it's praise riding along
The clatter of the ponys hooves, not loved by those who dwell neath rooves.!
The pallid sallow, wall surrounded.. And when we start they'll be astounded..'
We ride hard two days and nights, to charge and wheel; and ever strike.'
To clear a space, where yurts can be; then to move in travel free
To wake to different scenes around, to venture quickly into feotid towns
To take a bargain, to strike a deal; to return to the fire, and let sleep steal
And in this act, renew our mettle, to grasp each chance with finest fettle.

"The wind is the pounding of my heart.”
                       --Constance La France

Sound of the wind drifting through the trees
Softly, I hear it; it is the pounding of my heart
Keeping steady rhythm, while I am remembering
The times we made pulsing love ‘neath the elms,
Branches hovering over us like guardian angels
Waving goldish green banners, whispering low
Like the purring of your sighs after a long kiss,
Your sweet breath on my neck, the elms knew,
Trembling like wind in a slow-moving tremolo,
Its leaves gently playing nature’s marimba slow
Steadily matching my heart’s rhythmic cadence
Ah, how I remember well those fond embraces.

Fear In the Moonlight

The night is very dark with a slight summer breeze,
A shimmer of moon peeking through the branches of trees.
I hear another’s footsteps in the distance from behind,
Hopefully the owner is a person that’s very kind.
As I continue to walk faster, a pounding in my heart,
The moon gets brighter as the clouds start to part.
I turn around as I hear the sound at a quicker pace,
Gleefully I laugh as the moon lights up my brothers face.

Premium MemberPounding of the Hammer

“I am the monster that breathing men would kill. I am Dracula.”

                                                                Bram Stoker

The successive pounding of the hammer.
The stake in his heart took my breath away.
Came the bright torches, village clamor,
the successive pounding of the hammer.
Rosin of the vampire, screeching glamour,
tightening of cold hands, recant to pray.
The successive pounding of the hammer.
The stake in his heart took my breath away.

Premium MemberPulse Pounding

You know that feeling?
  Pulse pounding; heart thumping
Legs of rubber; knees of jello
  Sweat drips from your forehead
Springs gush from the palms of your hands...

 Will you measure up?
  You'll have to --
 Can't afford to fail again
  Not on the first day
Of the rest of your life...

Trump Trump Trump Pounding In Our Ears

He's everywhere, this fake President.
On the tv, the internet. the radio!
Shouting his love for himself,
Loving to hear his own voice!
Bragging of his riches,
Faux caring for the common ones.
Loving their ignorant votes,
Pleased at how he fooled them!
Spreading fear amongst the sheep,
The wolf guarding his flock so carefully.
Telling his lies to all who will listen!

Loose Shingles Flight

THAN WHY MUST WE SING
AND BELEIVE AS YOU WISH ME TOO
THAT YOU SPEAK OF SALVATION
BUT SUCH IS SPOKEN ONLY THROUGH YOU
THAT YOUR VANITY IS SEEN
AND YOUR WORDS ARE SAID
IT HELPS ME NEITHER
IT'S ONLY STORIES READ
THAT YOU IN YOUR NEWNESS
IS BETTER AND LESS BELEIVED
BECAUSE THOSE I PRAY TO BE WITH
YOU DISTORT AND CAUSES TEASE
THAT IT IS EASIER TO DIVIDE
AND SUBTRACT THOSE WHO LIKE THEIR WAY
TO SING AND DANCE IN THE NAME OF
THE DIFFERANCE
TO A NEW GOD YOU WISH US TO PRAY
THE GOD OF LONELINESS
WHO WISHES OUR NUMBERS LESS
THAT WE ARE STRONG IN COUPLING
AND ONCE COUPLES WE ARE BETTER AND BLESSED
YET TO STRANGE TO DIVIDE
AND HAVE US TO BELEIVE YOUR WAY
YOU TEACH US HOW TO LISTEN
AND TELL US WHAT TO SAY
THEN THOSE WHO ANWSER
SPEAK ME AS ILL AND GROSS
A PRODUCT OF UNRAVELING
TO BE TREATED AS SUCH
 I SPEAK HIM AS GOD
AND YOU SAY I BROTHER YOU
YET SUCH IS UNBROTHERED
THAT THE GOD I PRAY RENEW'S

Trump Leaving Hearts Pounding

Trump Leaving Hearts Pounding

Trump was causing hearts to be pounding,
And have us around think he is astounding;
Did conclude,
Very rude;
See so much sin that him is surrounding.
