Pulse Pounding

You know that feeling?
  Pulse pounding; heart thumping
 Legs of rubber; knees of jello
  Sweat drips from your forehead
 Springs gush from the palms of your hands...

 Will you measure up?
  You'll have to --
 Can't afford to fail again
  Not on the first day
 Of the rest of your life...
