I am what I am

I am what I am!
I am a positive breeze
blowing now between us,
with a clear sky in my mind
and a blooming orchard in my heart.
I am a sense of certainty
in our stride,
along the labyrinthine paths
of a world that keeps on growing.
I am a clear voice
amidst our voices,
our inexhaustible speech
heard in every language.
I am a warm smile
amidst our alienation,
with a tender gaze and humanity—
an embrace for all.
I am the strong, rapid heartbeat
of our love,
a revitalized pleasure
in the pulse of happiness.
I am love—
true love,
given without expecting anything in return;
a positive breeze,
a sense of certainty,
a clear voice,
a warm smile,
a strong, rapid heartbeat;
I am what I am!

Plus/Minus

Some say,
'Let's see if we can't do it,'
before applying
themselves to it.
I'm sure, positive in fact,
'Let's see if we can,'
would be a more-rewarding move
to enact, than
attempting a negative to prove.

A hypothesis to test

Empowered am I
Change of ideals
Knots to untie
The positive reveals

So much to do
No time to waste
Create an opus too
No cut and paste

I read and digest
Then spell out
A hypotesis to test
The title to shout

Will they read?
The ideas, new
A hybrid seed
For only a few

Let's start at home
Follow me, please
The rest can roam
Late, sagacity, seize

Premium Member My Secret Garden

I invite peace within my circle,
shut out the negative that's toxic.
I dwell on what's positive and
keep my distance of all that's poison.
I fill my head with thoughts that
will contribute to a better life.
I chase away any dark thoughts
that bring with them foul clouds.

Contagious

The other day while I was sitting on a park bench
Relaxing,
I heard a voice behind me.
It sort of shrieked a little
And even squeaked a bit
As it let out a laugh.

I had been thinking
Of a joke I had heard
The night before,
And then there came that shriek
So I laughed along.

Pretty soon I heard other voices too.
All of them laughing,
Joking and having a fun time.
