Premium MemberFrom the high grove to Portland

The world outside is vast and bright,
Soaring buildings and lakes so grand,
But its high groves fade from sight,
In the moments I just hold your hand

A simple touch, a glance you hold,
Shifting in the air that stops time,
Turning ash and grey to molten gold,
Like lightning singing to you in this rhyme

Do you feel it softly, tingling and kind?
Of perfect peace beyond compare,
Empyrean is what I always find,
In the laughter, we so often share

Your gentle voice, a calming sound,
quiet strength, a steady grace,
My heart's happiness can be found,
When I'm safe within your space

At my judgment in a far-off place,
I'll want for no moment yet to view,
'Cause the only heavens I belong in too
Are the ones, when I'm with you!

What is the tiddy twister

Lets be really clear
A crystal clear plan to get near the man
Just Follow the titty twister
Just follow the hooha hurriCAN
Follow as sure as you stand
On two feet we dominate
On two knees we congregate
With a Gang of my precious baby friends in my face
In the foot race in the first race
I place fate on a sure thing
On the street the heat sits
On 4 wheels at least
So many more wheels on the beast
What is the HooHa HurriCAN
What is the titty twister
She looks just like your sister
And your best friends sister too
A really big sister crew full of sister
We knock on a 454
We ball on cams and lifters
Positraction on the main attraction
Attracted the sister
We are twisted insane and laughing
Were twisted insane and laughing
Even though the girls got me trapped
in I keep ing rappin

2:31 Am, Portland

It’s windy eve,
inside is free
of the wind but
not pithy peeves:

heaven’s thousand
eyes clouded
by lights
although the sun
-rise clouded
delights.

against cities,
(all like-fashioned):
moon’s bow stretches
dim sky lashes.

in walls is warmth
confinement,
anger
the winds withhold
comfort not
wonder

Portland Creatures

‘Mid two trees

    Squirrels, maybe four,
Maybe five,
   Maybe more.

I glance the floor
Sparse blades, short in fall,
    Scattered
 Peanut shells, fragments
 No meat left.

Premium MemberShameful Portland

Shameful Portland

Another Conservative reporter
attacked.
The police in Portland would not
cover his back.
Shame on you Antifa cowards!
Hiding behind your cowardly masks.

Americans and people of all
nations must stop their lunatic
fringe, physical attacks.
On others who don't follow
their leftist tracks.
The left is kind only to those
of the same mind.

This is hogwash and stupidity.
So knock off chanting about
Peace and War!
When it's people unlike you, you
so disgustingly abhor!
In our own countries attacking
people at dinners, rock-throwing,
Violent, anarchist killers.

You have the right to differ not
to harm.
We do it in poetry, too.
We destroy and demean others
with aplomb.
Yes, the same people so afraid
of war and bombs.

Add the internet, Facebook,
Twitter,just space stations.
Where we can belittle, lie and
Rip apart anyone with
Conservative persuasions

This is not freedom.
This is name calling and the
lowest of political perversion.
Worse, the man attacked was
Chinese.
So, we see who the Xenophobes
are...in this case, the cruel
Antifa , holy congregation.

You are my friend
For you gave your life for us
Thank you America for believing in the
Truth

Even to the death
Thank you America

Wild Portland Marion Berries

The wild berries of the Northwest
it seems every path you walk on , they are there for you to sample ,

Almost as The city of Portland itself is welcoming you with astonishing beauty, the view of a snow tipped Volcano , as if greeting you with a basket full of fresh wild Marion berries

The beauty, just picked plump , the color of dark purple
a fragrance to savor , what will I do ?
will I make a pie or preserves ?
Oh the pancakes and waffles , the Tillamook ice cream is a must ~

After rinsing the fresh picked Berries with water and dusting them with fine Sugar , a hint of cinnamon , if pie , waffle , or cake . maybe just plain ,
serve with whipped cream made from scratch and a leaf of mint .

The Salmon , the berries , roses and apples all in the Great Northwest ,
You may visit however be warned , for many have come this way
Many have travelled a far ,

For the great Spirit of This Northwest will encompass and astound you .
Begging your soul to stay and live the way of a Portlander .

Give me rain I say , for the green here will blind you, it is
like walking off the black and white set of Wizard of Oz,
and opening the amazing door to Colors .

Salmon Portland Chase

A great brain to be ever remembered

As long as history is;

A beacon that stood in an extraordinary way

When all the rest prostrate lay;

A self-made man of no blue-blood descent

Who strove to give the ***** his trampled peace;

Before it was birthed the blessed day!

A great brain to be ever remembered

As long as history is;

A beacon that stood in an extraordinary way

When all the rest prostrate lay;

A self-made man of no blue-blood descent

Who strove to give the ***** his trampled peace;

Before it was birthed the blessed day!

Inside the Lines 'Portland Coffee House'

waiting in line.. in step...
in monotones.. at mid afternoon.

waiting for a cup of coffee
from a thin barista.

while outside it is raining..

outside the clouds float by in
gray shades of indifference

outside a few pigeons cheat the
 sidewalks mortared lines.

yet inside the lines of my skin is
 more than water.

  waiting in line.. in step...
   in monotones for
  my caffiene osmosis.

mixing a little of octobers cloudy
reason with some powdered vanilla in
   my cup of coffee.

the radio overhead is tuned to
natinal public radio.

it is a man and a woman talking about
 dandilions and the dwindling mountian
goat population.

i think they are wearing sweaters
but i will never really know

Rainy Portland

I know i'm not a saint
but i might be your martyr
even if just for a moment.

stranger my eyes to you.

 the ambience of two hollow
tabernacles passing in
silence under heavy raindrops.

 our reflections caught in
the window of a coffee shop
 next to the old church
 on 11th and clay.

 you lifted your head to
 exchange the glance
that said i don't know you either.

a few more steps past the window
 and then there was only
 silence and cracked pavement.

Angry Portland Vegans

they are green anarchist who listen
to national public radio along with
pseudo punk rock chick bands.

they are angry and i am pretty
 sure they killed jesus.

they have names like ryan and ashley
and in the fourth grade they kicked me
in the nuts and left me on the ground
 at recess.

these angry vegans also like to chew
on organic vanilla granola they buy
at the local new seasons store.
 going outside afterwards to
chain smoke and give me
dirty looks.

Portland Spring

Columbia, Willamette stream
Forth their gentle run,
As salmon glint beneath each beam
Of a Northwest sun.

The rain-swelled rivers rise and roll
Back where they began,
Like ups and downs of someone’s soul:
Seasons of a man,

Portland Oregon

Thrice a coin did flip in the air
   methodology affixing this state
   located Latitude: 45° 31', North Longitude: 122° 39', West
heads and tails two early settles did blare
Asa Lovejoy and Francis W. Pettygrove respectively
knew after two tosses of copper or silver piece
name of newfound Pacific Northwest settlement
would be a synonym for stout liquor crystal clear
said namesake t’would be epitomized
and accepted by former resident of Maine to win the bet fair
despite a brilliant columnar luminescent shaft
which beam of sun created a near blinding glare
guaranteeing observant native creatures
camouflaging in the verdant undergrowth shielding and attentive hare
despite sitting stock still just a hair breath near
seemingly clasping paws in the guise of a prayer
 synonymous with other natural phenomena
like the indigenous fauna and flora never before seen and rare
to these newcomers settling along the confluence
of the Willamette and Columbia rivers
whose present occupants now approaching the two hundredth year!
