Phyllis Diller
Had a laugh that was killer.
Funky clothes and crazy hair,
A cigarette holder added flair.

How her VOICE, in Our ears like
a bell would be chiming
As she belted out the lyrics like
KANYE be rhyming
To the top of the charts, was she
as a result, climbing
Until, she came to a catastrophic
end like the late Frankie Lymon
Talk about FATE and its having
bad timing
Such was the life of the great,
Phyllis Hyman

Phyllis!Phyllis!
Help me outta this!
Tell me how to
write and please you?
P.D. has ordered
'Write on Phyllis,
you must oblige
or will perish!':)
So I googled your name 'Phyllis',
you from Canada, your name from Greece.
I know you are kind and tender,
all these made your pen much sweeter.
Oh,yes!Tell me how is Aaron,
your bundle of joy,little grandson!
For him all my blessings and love,
cell phone ringing,my time is up.
Tell me one thing just secretly,
has P.D.ordered you too,like me?

Phyllis
I read today that the root word phil means loving and I thought you were given the right
name. I know you sit and serve your mother in law as she is in the transition of life to life
eternal. Remember that we will see her again and she will be free to roam and run and play at
the feet of Jesus. Time in this world must end for all; she has traveled her journey and
taught her children well. The children must take her torch on their own journey through this
life and be ready to meet the savior.
May the holy spirit comfort you, strengthen you, and love you through this difficult time.
Family is our most important asset in life, God given and God protected.
Remember the good days and forgive the bad.
I love you my sweet sister,
Love,
Doris

Phyllis with passion
of love not hate
Phyllis with joy
that words can create
Phyllis with love
being more than just kind
Phyllis with happiness
just like wine
Phyllis with compassion
for our fellow man
Phyllis with sympathy
so we will lend a hand
Phyllis with pride
so we will not stand aside
And Phillis with the Holy Spirit
so our God will be near by

Eager, farming girl, hardworking.

Phyllis, Oh Phyllis
to my dearest friend Phil
our time together was just one great big thrill
those times that we hung out at the senior citizen's center hall
we socialized with old friends and simply had a ball
the days when we would eat at the same old pizza shop
and over a few slices we would laugh non-stop
and during our shopping therapy at Pathmark
we stay for an hour or two and leave with an empty cart
we'd always fill that cart with something
and always came home carrying nothing
Phyllis, oh Phyllis
with your gorgeous silver gray hair
so many times I wish you were still here
Phyllis, Oh Phyllis
with those beautiful eyes of blue
I just want you to know that I still love and miss you

When Phyllis canned her peaches
just two months before she died,
She did it for her family,
she'd done it since a bride.
She canned the summer sun for them
and sealed it in a jar.
Next winter when they shared her gift,
she wouldn't seem so far.
She always did her canning when
the fruit had reached its peak,
But this year cancer sapped her strength,
and chemo left her weak.
Despite the many mutant cells
which had metastasized,
She did what she had always done,
she peeled and sterilized.
She left behind this last fine gift,
and one more memory
Of Phyllis canning peaches
out of love for family.
