Leaf

Lines.

Vascular, photosynthetic ravines,
Cut deeply into the skin;

They morph from scar into the heart's sustenance.

Snoring serenity

Snoring Serenity!

The slumbering scent of flowers/
in the valleyside villages sprout/
lyrics through photosynthetic process/
for butterflies to cluster with love/
and pollinate with caress/.

The moon in the cloudless night/
snores serenity with its shiny light/
to the world in perfect time and prime/
without receiving a dime/.
oh, what a great snoring serenity you're/.

Premium MemberSUN AM I

My Creator-endowed rays of celestial magnitude
Emit solar power, enabling Earth’s existence-plenitude
Fulfilling my commitment to rise daily with glowing altitude…

Vibrantly warming mankind toward enthusiastic attitude
I brighten the firmament while my beams awaken the multitude
Toward zealous praises for a new day along triumphant zest of gratitude…

Blowing my photosynthetic aptitude
I pursue oxygen production midst energy source amplitude
To replenish food supply, securing nourishment against crisis vicissitude…

I delight in everyone’s disposition by my sunny beatitude
While reaching-out those in solitude to bask in my jubilant quietude
Rejoicing for doing best as the “greater light to rule the day”* with certitude.

*Genesis 1:16 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Premium MemberStrangers In a City

I want to walk with you
on the hills of tomorrow
drag fingers like tines
in the dark dirt
prepared by centuries
of anticipation
nothing but a few shoots
of grass there
waiting perfectly
for growth, some
human attendance, some
ones to roll
and plant deeply
sending roots
to the aquifer.

I want the honey-sweet sun
to make your skin quartz
glimmering like a thousand mirrors
and every living thing,
every dewdrop-living microbe
and sharp-eyed circling hawk
and waving photosynthetic wand
to take notice--
                      Strangers from a city
are peaceful now,
love bound and harmonious
and mean everything to you,
are here
infinite one minute
and the gone the next
in combustion of what you created.

Premium MemberRose's Resonant Tree

I heard from our Tree today.
He and She were both
barely speaking to me
forgetting Her root system
all tangled up with Historied trunk of convexly hierarchical
branches of photosynthetic production,
rather than sharing Her permaculturing compost
more naturally and economically balanced.

I watched our Tree today
while fading memories of shared Him-Her nutrients,
breathing together,
following our full color spectrum
from light through double-bound dark
absence of presence
springing up summer
and falling down winter,
shared days and seasons and informating species,
riding times' energetic gravitating wu wei surf edge,
tipping point between past practice of warm v. cold memories
and future's predicted GoldenLocks intent,
"just right" Earth Day
growing lovely forest dreams
of mutual forbearance and organic porridge sustenance,
and synergetic gratitude,
not so much growling at one another
barking out Golden Rules' bicamerolling spiral head,
core ring of TaoNowLogistics.

Tree therapy for weak-rooted imbalanced ecopathology,
breathing in Him
then breathing out Her EcoLogos wisdom
unweaving binomially out again
embracing His Easter
uprising recreation.

Insight

Two estranged species of flora bud in shared soil
Where a photosynthetic dazzle prompts emotional pollination
By any other color, an infestation is unaffected,
The inspired beauty falls away and wilts beyond time

A dance in a determined wind,
Storms of petals reach from the meadow across the hill
While the symphony of daybreak’s mysticism awakens the world,
A faded flower entangles itself in a foreign stem

The smaller soon enough towers in its own right
What deformation can present itself in an aftermath?
There is no forest obscuring the breeze,
For a dandelion dubbed a weed

When We Blossom

Still in it's shade
It's photosynthetic life, is still closed
Sleeping till the sun's light is made
To placidly open it's eyes, they have roses

Shining bright from the dewy nature
It's life is uncovered for the sun's means
It takes in one light it captures
And let's Dew's morning feed

Over it's fragile symmetry, the wind bellows
Gently shifting it right and slow
To reach the sun's gleaming countenance to grow
We awake with a blossom in natures halo

Daydreaming

The Deciduous maple trees
With their temporary broad leaves
Fell in great numbers during the
Early, darkened, chilly morning.
Their photosynthetic lifetimes
Once green are now shadows of life
As they lay lifeless on the ground.
As I slowly pedal along
The beaten path, a crispy sound
Emerges from beneath the wheels;
And a sweet odoriferous
Scent from their decaying-remains
Summons forth from my aged mind
Abstract musing of autumns past.

Pinecone Patriarch

some say the limbs of trees are telling chapters
a pinecedars verse in still measure.

some say a branch can speak as it splinters.
with cinders regognizable for seedling faith.

now pineconed buddha's roll around me
with secrets inclosed in thier bellies
telling me that i look like you.

those same lines round the eyes,
photosynthetic daylight seeking.
with stone marrow to fortify the roots,
structure the face and weather the brow.

twenty nine growth ringed years
past the hardened visage of you
with that bottle in your hand.

you were a pinecone patriarch
that did not germinate in me but die.
