Funny, it is how witnessing the root form of greed
Can cause an otherwise healthy vision to bleed
Humorous is a poorly conceived disguise
So much so that blood drips from my eyes
Hilarious is the blinding light
Hemorrhaging to the sight
Amusingly though, it's not so cryptic
As phlebotomy consumes the optic
If any of this has you seeing red
Maybe control your anger instead
In the phlebotomy room,
there came a woman
And a man
And their lad
Inquiring, queuing
‘My blood, I give to you;
draw and draw freely,
I have no qualms’
The lad started,
Responding, boasting
‘Yes, you can draw
by every means you choose
save with this needle!’
The lad protested,
Sobbing, struggling
Because freedom of choice has emancipated our civil liberties
Love of life has been silenced
Because freedom of choice has emancipated our fist of selfishness
Love of self has been mindless.
From the shores of the Atlantic
To the shores of the Pacific
Rain dampened sand is imprinted
Flesh torn phlebotomy flows ashore
Staining our consciousness...deviating our vision.
Perforated firmament leaks cloudless affection
Our very pores reap the seeping of star cries
Altering our perception
Accusing our sight
And creation continues.
Pride swells the size of light
Law becomes impious
Freedom lauds subjection
As society unveils a bandaged wound prematurely.
The reoccurring frenzy of deranged personal attachment
The cause of our detachment...
A Lovely Lobotomy
Did you know there is a dichotomy,
Of people who prefer a phlebotomy;
Are not really sure of point of view,
How they should separate the few,
Who would like a lovely lobotomy.

I put the ear in tear so you can hear my pain
synonymous with years of nonstop rain
what appeared as sincere slandered my name
synonymous with phlebotomy, it was all in vain
an unknown flood that drowned my confidence
synonymous with being anonymous
masked, disguised, escaping the consequence
synonymous with a fugitive fleeing the continent
guilty as charged, behind bars, waitin´
synonymous with self condemnation
eyes in the law library, with the law in observation
