Premium MemberWhen I Was a Pepperoni Pizza

I got the chills
The shivers
The shakes
My cheese chattered
I crossed my pepperoni
Frozen like a popsicle

I hid myself in the far back
of the icy dungeon under a hamburger pizza
How about a pizza? A giant asked.
The door opened.
The giant reached in and plucked me out

I was set down on a wire rack in a warm sauna
A wonderful warm sauna.
A door slammed
It got really dark.
Dark as the freezer, but warmer.

I began to smile.
Warming up all over....

dough on the ceiling
                         the pizza maker

Make
                                     mine spicy
                                  Mama Mia. How
                                I love a spicy pizza.
Make it cheesy, so that it'll
please me. Oh and, in the middle
                    put a large pepperoni
                 so big and round that
                I'll get fat even when
I look at that. No, that's not
a doughnut hole that you see now
in the middle. That's the piece of pepperoni! How I
wish that I could color in the center spicy red. You will
have to use instead what you've got inside inside your head:
Your imagination, right? Then imagine one more thing. Can you
guess? Sink your teeth into this pizza Yummy yum, now take a bite!

Pepperoni Pizza

My husband likes to kid around
And loves to tell a joke,
Expecting all will understand
The humor that he spoke.

I've heard them all before and some
Recur in certain places,
So he can coax a smile, perhaps,
From unfamiliar faces.

In restaurants (not pizza ones),
His order always ends
With "a pepperoni pizza,"
For the chuckle he intends.

So last evening, in a tavern,
We were shocked and quite unnerved
When, along with what we'd ordered,
Yes - a pizza we were served!

It was topped with pepperoni
And the server was confused
When we said we didn't want it,
But the waiter was amused.

We apologized profusely
And they wouldn't take our money.
Here's the moral of the story -
Some jokes simply aren't funny.

A Pepperoni and Mushroom Biscuit Pizza Winter Day

the snowflakes make your smile shine
i laugh softly as you try to catch one on your tongue
you are completely careless and totally unaware of life and what it is
six hours removed from leaving the hospital after your ninth heart surgery,
i just let you be free because by golly you deserve it
i think i will surprise you with your favorite pepperoni and mushroom biscuit pizza
then again, i better stay right here and make sure you do not overdo it
while lost in thought, i feel you give me a slight nudge
you tell me that you are a bit tired, so we go inside the house, warm up, and just sit still for a spell
then you whisper in my ear the words i saw coming since the first look in your perky brown eyes....'pepperoni and mushroom biscuit pizza'
i look down at you and smile and say 'okay'....and in the kitchen we go
so warm the Blessed Feeling

Two brothers from Wichita
Borrowed 600 dollars from Ma,
Needing money to pay college fees,
They repaid their debt with ease-
Selling Pizzas from a hut,was a breeze.
