The Changing Country

The country is changing is what they say,
But does the outlook of people actually count?
Still, that old stereotypical mindset is what they display,
Letting the entire mankind down.

One steps out, and there they are, umpteen scanning eyes,
Golden highlights, ripped jeans, short skirt is what catches their sight,
A new way discovered by the crowd to characterize,
Having no one around to tell that everything's alright.

Wardrobe malfunction is the next new crime,
Gawking them, making them feel victimized,
Informing them can also work sometimes,
But here in the changing country, it can never be recognised.

One ends up doing outdoor activities indoor,
Reason being all the unnecessary ogles,
Why not engage in some household chores?
Allowing others to relax their ankles.

As long as the country comprises the people,
The concept of changing country remains a big lie,
If at all it becomes illegal,
Maybe then the mass would give it a try.

And behold, calmeth descends evergreen fields, guiding His inspiration judiciously, keep leading myself near opened placidness, quaintly, restoring soul through, undulating, veiled wickedness, eXposing your zeal.

Art being comforted, don't evil feareth, guideth His instruments justly, kindles lavishly my notorieties, ogles pierced quickens, relished spread table, utilized valor weighed eXpeditiously yon zealots.

Attain blessed child-filled days effortlessly, finding great His immunity justified, keeping life merciful, nigh, oils praised quickly runneth sternly, timeliness universally ventured whilst eXposed youth zero-hour.

The Art of Brain

She finds her true love from another man
and ogles him for herself
When everything there is a need
and comfort a heart can't quelf

That everything there that she knows
is nothing a heart can contain
When everything there that she needs
is lost to the art of brain

Majrooh Sultanpuri Translations

Majrooh Sultanpuri translations of Urdu poems into English

I'm like a commodity being priced in the market-place:
every eye ogles me like a buyer's.
—Majrooh Sultanpuri, loose translation by Michael R. Burch

If you insist, I'll continue playing my songs,
forever piping the flute of my heart.
—Majrooh Sultanpuri, loose translation by Michael R. Burch

The moon has risen once again, yet you are not here.
My heart is a blazing pyre; what do I do?

Egomania

The narcissistic eye ogles itself in the glass;
Which egoistic orgy well paints Man's greed.
His self-elevating smiles mirrors easily prove
As crude hungers only selfish deeds can feed.

And so do you still continue to wonder why
Conceited doctors thrive while patients die.
You know the inscrutable reason lawyers grin,
All the way to the bank as grimey outlaws win.

The grim riders who usurp others' right of way
Typify paedophiles who maul wee infant souls.
And barbarian cops firing shots at calm folks,
Subtly tell the cold despot's vainglorious goal.

Do not look far to behold villainous monsters
Who top filthy lists of most-wanted gangsters,
When you daily spot many self-serving priests
With Bible-like Kalashnikovs and soiling wrists.

In our most common dispositions you'll note,
Ugly human gluttonies of every cannibal sort.

Way To Perdition

The Man is lying naked.
This filthy pavement is his abode.
The Man is emaciated and famishing.
And he never begs for alms,
Proud and conceited.
The road is busier than ever.
No one takes interest in him.
No one catches a glimpse at him.
And a few feign not having seen him at all.

The time fleets on, the cars move on,
The Man is lying naked.

At the first blush, far from being a beggar
Is the Man.
He is well-complexioned with big glamorous eyes.
His face is sleek and his hair shines against
The lustrous sunbeams.
His eyes are gleeful, but mournful is his heart.
Penniless though, his craving for gold is sheer.
He ogles at the gold brought by the people around.
But he never begs for alms,
Proud and conceited.
Then someone nears him and asks who he is.
After much vacillation, he dismisses his taciturnity.
“Mankind is my name”, he replies.

The time fleets on, the cars move on,
The Man is lying naked.

Hope of Spring

Out the window flows my gaze
Blissfully journeying the horizon,
-- Like the fair sea bestowed per Poseidon --
Lost among secular golden haze.
  The sky leered angrily gray
And bitterly cried frigid tears
From the fjords with ducts’ flowing fears
Trapping man like a ghastly cliché.
  Chills gripped many a tree
And strangled life from all limbs
Drowning in white like a child without fins
Now life must resurrect debris.
Aye, Apollo ogles over the hidden,
The perfume of life gleams
And so everything seems
To breathe breath brio-ridden.
All in the course of 365 days
Can so much wither or flourish in a bouquet.

Side Walk Sale

tables groan beneath their burdens
marked-down goods, purses, wallets
cards and chain and you must wonder
"Where does it go, where does it go?"
when you're absent friend or guest
no one ogles you on the elevator
cares enough to open a door occupy
your orbit with a knowing smile?
faded price tags catch her glance
she shakes her graying head slowly
as if she is in complete agreement

My Sister and Me

How many Guinea Pigs can you see?
Is it one, or two, or maybe three?
There's Honey and Sweetie, and Old Master Monty,
He ogles the girls 'till his eyes go quite wonky.
As to which one's the best, we just can't agree
'Cos they all belong to my sister and me

They live out of doors in a house made by Dad,
It's lovely and posh, the best they could have
A bit like on holiday when your' van's been delayed
They shout, "on the house", A PLATINUM UPGRADE.
For having to wait, It's totally free
We're both very grateful, my sister and me.

We all love those Guinea Pigs, of that there's no doubt,
But when it comes to cleaning them out
We both try pretending it's the other one's turn
We go for the wind up but we both need to learn
That nothing worth having ever comes easily,
And one day we'll get there, my sister and me.

How long do you think there'll be only three?
Suppose they gave babies, like a real family.
There'll be hundreds of Poohs and thousands of wee's
I hope they don't do it on the brand new settee
Old Master Monty will be as proud as can be
As he blinks a sly wink at my sister and me.

Mocking Me

Time she keeps on mocking,
But the old monk is all tranquil.
Peace written all over the face,
Is this the lull before the storm?

But the birds...
They chirp & sing their own songs

Time she keeps questioning me
It’s heart is red but i can’t see
Playing with me and with my mind
Revealing thoughts of all kinds.

As the sun goes down ,time ,she will slide,
And steal the light from the ground

Time she will stare at me all mute,
As my heart turns lute
Ohh.ooo yea
Time will stand still and wait on me,
As I lose my yesteryears in shadows of what I could be
Ohh.ooo yea
Time she ogles at me,
As the morn is draped as green as can be,
Ohh.ooo yea

Time sees me
As i clean drops of dew from words that seem so true
Ohh.ooo yea
Time she keeps on mocking
Time she keeps on mocking

American Devotion

Her liaison pursue are sightless males tweets

Scarfed, ogles ensnared behind the fold of risk

Envy, adoration, wrecked sentiment, colossal twist

Probability of devotion are diminutive like the mini sphere design engraved in a compact disc

Bygone evidence were inked written, typed, and hand written regarding Christopher Columbus pursue upon America

In spite of this, did records specify the responsibility of the tongue-tied branches that sentinel for Columbus, loads of telescopes concealed in the loam of trees

Shanice Austin and Chris pursue transpired alike, saplings bypassed, swap sapling with past love a past love in the past

The loam commences the soul, the drift for the correlation scroll, Chris and Shanice quest intended for their peculiar gold, the tale at the moment is unlocked, yet who possess the key to the heart to the bereaved keyhole

P.S A mystery untold
