Child With His Ball

Rolled it. Bounced it.
Threw up - higher!
Child, and soul, both set free as one.
Not since nigher!
Through each action.
As such less fraught
With limiting fears, time's, space's;
Within since caught!

The Naked Lady

You are what's so seem
In my forbidden dream
Gentler and splendor in you
A cloud fluffing in stretching hue
Hunger forgets it's sorrow
In an earliest sweet-morrow
I hearken melody in hushing sepulchre-
Your grin in laurel blossoms of ochre
I see no luna,in tenebrous sky-
But In your,in your kosmos eye
Strewed the lycaenids upon the swelling dell
For descry of you,my mere Danielle
Might envy; the resentful angel above
You are the all,the laudable in all love
While I misstep in chasm of your stare
O' I arouse before sunshine in morns fair
Now I missed what's so seem
In my forbidden dream
My lady,the sweven lady
She entrapped me to this malady
Thro' the naked lady,she appear
Came nigher mine sweven dear-

Heaven's Light: a Loving Memory of My Uncle, Paul Murray

Heaven’s light shines brighter today
And its gates are opened extra wide
They’re preparing for another angel
To be seated by God’s side.
The trumpets blow louder
And the angel’s voices ring higher
Our hearts grow ever heavier as
Your final day with us grows nigher.
Over the years we’ve watched
As you’ve done the Lord’s work
It’ll be hard to let you go
As you ascend to Heaven from earth.
We all have our memories to share
Of you no matter where we are
Ones I remember most are the diner,
Your hats and of your cigars.
Heaven has prepared a place for you
Your job is finally done
You’ve secured the ultimate victory
Your race has been won.
We’ll share your pictures and stories
With the little ones as they come up
To give them a piece of our history
As life without you adjusts.
Heaven’s light shines brighter today
And has increased in its wealth
When God told his angels
“I’ve got this one”,
And took your hand Himself.
We’ll all miss you dearly.
Knowing this isn’t truly the end
We’ll get to see you our beloved
Uncle, Dad, brother and grandfather
One day again.

Rest easy now.

Across golden meadows
Love rests in the sun
Gently wrapping shadows
Of two hands as one

Daisies waving beside
The edge of the brook
Happy moments reside
It takes just one look

Beauty flowing around
Shared together now
Heartbeats music abound
Heard for miles somehow

Whispered kisses lifting
Higher and higher
Breezes slowly shifting
Passion from nigher

Chilling to me is the cool misty rain.
Filling fuel on the fire to warm me again,
Willing my thoughts on the now to remain,
Stilling all those that are cause of the pain.

Come my sweet child and sit by the fire.
Strum for me a tune, one I would admire,
Some pretty melody, ‘ere we retire.
Hum along with me as I draw you nigher.

Years have gone by since you sat close to me.
Tears I have shed for the sweet used to be.
Fears are for the future that I can foresee.
Nears the sad moment you’ll want to fly free.

Knowing that you will be leaving some day.
Stowing sweet memories, wishing you’d stay.
Growing to womanhood, you’re pulling away
Showing more interest in boys than in play.

The Man, With a Pen

The man, with a pen in the pocket of his
suit of yesterday and today, that has chosen a place
in a rocky shoreline, sits contently, waiting
for the orb to settle down a smile from which words
of mystic sea whirl, enjoying the summer wind.

The man, with a pen in the pocket of his
suit of yesterday and today, feels rejuvenated
from the touch
of those lips, etched in a photograph. Ah, memories
good or bad, are always permanent!

The mountains and the seas tilt nigher
to the orb, who has selflessly warmed him with
eyes blinking from heaven to earth
and has felt the gentle ripples of tares and the whir
of transient birds gliding, in jovial mood, in the air.

The orb declaims a lovely poem, while endless sky
guesses if it should please his aged mind and a pen adhering
to a note pad. A man, with a pen in the pocket of his suit
of yesterday and today, that will
boredom less enjoy the evening graces whilst she’s away.
