Rumble Stein's: The Homework Stomp

"Listen closely," Rumple Stein
cackled, his yellow eyes
scanning the terrified faces
of the children huddled
around the campfire.

"A massive, hairy Bigfoot
stalks the foggy mountains,
sniffing the chilly night air for
a very specific scent."

"This towering beast
possesses a terrible, burning
fury against children who
refuse to do their homework."

"Because some kids don't do
their homework, the furious
monster swore to hunt down
every single lazy child."

"He tracks the scent of blank
pages and hidden schoolbooks
straight to your campground tents!"

"He wants to stomp slacker
kids to a pulp to punish them
for neglecting their daily education!"

He suddenly jumped to his
feet, throwing his hands high
as the wind howled through
the branches.

"And when he catches a lazy
student, "Rumple Stein roared,
"he crushes them with his giant
feet!"

The terrified children
immediately reached into
their backpacks, pulling out
their folders in absolute panic.

They frantically began
scribbling their spelling
words by the dim, flickering
light of the dying fire.

Premium Member Neglecting Compassion

Neglect is to political Entropy
as
impatient Tolerance is to Sympathy
as
pro-active Engagement is to Empathy
as
Solidarity is to EarthTribe's vast
compassion

Neglect of whole-sum EarthTribe health
is to global entropy
as
EarthDay resilient solidarity
is to polyculturally resonant
compassion.

feisty flamboyant frenzied fanny
genuine genuflects to her granny
many of us yell whoa
for this means she is also
now neglecting nefarious nanny

Premium Member Neglecting the Mother Lode

Again sudden tragedy reminds me of my mortality
How fragile this shell that's made of clay
Yet with fervent worship and adoration it's exulted
And I feed its wants night and day upon demand
Assuming the role of "boss" yet, in reality, a "slave"

At times I ignore the sighs of a quiet inner spirit
The missing link to advance to a higher plane
Out of sync, I deal with insatiable desires to feel “good”
And cater religiously to my burden; this speck of dust!
While I neglect the mother lode of the gold mine within

Nation Neglecting

Nation Neglecting
the past a sickness based on reflection
to the present which is a second
from the future
a struggle is what we are used to
so many eyes view the pain
of reality of my stomach growl to sustain
actually to let our ears witness
the negativity manifested by
the frustration of adversity and confusion
ignorance flourished cause there isn't
anything else to encounter
in an environment of espionage
with change comes correction
Communication came from connection
