The Prayer of a Living Water

The Prayer Of A Living Water

Never misuse and pollute me!
For am the very life in you.
The act of diluting you possess should not
Be thrown to me;
As i live as gift of God to be
Life to Him who Drink of me.
Never misuse me!!
For i live as you do
I be as small as of river
But in me found life to the living around me
And to him that passes-by,
I serves as mandated,as bathing source and
Life when you Drink of Me;
For am important if only you know my worth.
Never misuse me,Never,never and
Never take me unimportant.

Flies

Diaphnanous singing in the sizzling heat
The white maggots turn black with wings
Dead flesh melts through a solvent treat
Festering on wounds of paupers and of kings

Something more here than this pesty buzzing song
Some deep possession ladles joy
In an office so darkly wrong
The gift to heal, mostly maligned will destroy

Even the parting prayer of a poet
Waiting for her Charon to come
Becomes their carrion before the last breath:
Pale page closed on that plagued kingdom

For every one a thousand more eyes lens us
Wing throated monsters full of crave
Sees us and everything as sweet detritus
And mark our channel to the grave

From their choir superior triumph rings
Over man, these our flitting foes
They live a lunar cycle, yet conquer kings
Time's brevity no meekness shows

I study flies to tell the epitaph's gall
We measured out on spooning tongues
We, locked in vanity on the spining ball
Hear their wet buzzing in our lungs

Flash Flood...

Monsoon season hit last night,
It flooded everything in sight;

It ripped down fences and uprooted trees,
Rolling two ton boulders with sickening ease;

Carrying it all on a crest of death,
We can feel the roar and hold our breath;

The ground is rumbling beneath our feet,
We bow our heads and admit defeat;

The noise deafening, we cover our ears,
It’s bringing about our terror and fears;

We stop and watch the destruction flow by,
And send a silent prayer up to the sky.

The River Flow

Sitting at the table
Pensive, her pen in her mouth
Her mind searching a fable
To express her thoughts.

Scattered around her world
Sometimes so fruitful and bright
And sometimes so barren
The thinning waters going dry.

Her river runs to the edge
Pouring out like a cascade
Over a sharp, rocky ledge
Speeding down a mountain's facade.

Excited to reach out far
Watering others' worlds
With her sanctified nectar
Quenching parched berths.

Yet at times the river recedes
And the cascade is no more
No moisture fills the air sweet
Just a silent prayer that implores.

Wishing to quieten the voices
Objecting to her taking a rest
Hiding away from the forces
That eat at her raspy chest.

And then the Master enters
The scene and intervenes
In His own special manner
And the rains fall over her spleen.

Sitting, thoughtful, at her table
Her mind receives moisture
Puts her pen upon the paper
And writes of a new adventure.

Sex

Sex
in all its glory
is all there is
the driving force in everything that moves this world
is what man and woman are made for
our journey to be ourselves cumulates in finding the person
that fits us so..perfectly
so physically
and makes sex a blaze of glory
a tender mercy
a private prayer of committment
a moment of conception
a whisper
a cry
a wonder
trust
love
sex

do not turn your head to deny sex
and sexuality
it is the majority of humanity
bring your children up in a house where sex is healthy
and partners
are respected
and they will go forth and find a partner to cherish

herald sex
as the most intimate of god given gifts
the most healing moment you will spend
in the arms of another

A Day In My Life

Waking to the call to prayer near a Turkish mosque
Blowing “bonjour” to passersby in chic, classy France
Nibbling cheese on a snow-capped mountaintop in Switzerland
Printing footsteps across the linen snow in Siberia

Singing with the birds on the Mongolian grasslands
Gathering simple smiles along a street in Indonesia
Strutting past all the windows down Fifth Avenue
Dancing with the pouring rain in the Amazon

Inhaling the love swirling in the Darling Harbour breeze
Planting kisses on the sparkling gems of Angola
Tasting the spice-laced air in a crowded market of Morocco
Leading a weary camel through the desert of Arabia

Then near the end of the day I
Wade across the Red Sea to catch
The sunset on the golden Egyptian sand and
Lay back to count the stars
With my head against a date palm tree
Somewhere in the silent darkness of Afghanistan.

Premium Member Communion With Dawn

In the stillness of the early morn
When nature shakes off the remnants of slumber
Leaves stretching, flowers opening
I sit quietly with my cup of tea in reflection.

Gazing at the first visages of dawn
As the sun lazily climbs into the heavens
Gradually dressing the day in a kaleidoscope of hues
Huddling a bit deeper into the quilt I have wrapped about me.

Oh quiet morn what blessing will you bestow today?
A gentle shower, a warm caress?
Or will passion shatter us from our doldrums,
Enveloping fury of an unleashed tempest.

Communion with nature, I tune into earths heartbeat
Thundering through my blood, rejuvenating my soul
I rise and salute you in prayer and thanksgiving
Calmer from the spiritual union of birthing a new day.
