Flash Flood...

Monsoon season hit last night, It flooded everything in sight; It ripped down fences and uprooted trees, Rolling two ton boulders with sickening ease; Carrying it all on a crest of death, We can feel the roar and hold our breath; The ground is rumbling beneath our feet, We bow our heads and admit defeat; The noise deafening, we cover our ears, It’s bringing about our terror and fears; We stop and watch the destruction flow by, And send a silent prayer up to the sky.

Tirzah, I just read one called STeven. It was wonderful. but guess what? I am not able to comment to it there. if you are not getting comments it is probably becuase others can't see a place to comment either. I tried the next poem up.SAME thing. So I came back down here and was able to comment to you. Gosh, I hope it is not doing that weird thing anyplace else to people! Luv, Andrea

And I like this poem. Can you tell me again where you live? Was this about something you recently witnessed? for some reason I was thinking you lived in the U.s. LUv, Andrea
