Premium MemberSeptember Melody

The autumn day is beautiful and sweet, and the sounds of nature ring loud and sharp; I stand listening to a lone bird song. His tweets, chirps and twirls an echoing song, I am in awe of his melody sweet; and then, the wind answers in whispers sharp. Somewhere, a tree branch breaks with a crack sharp, disturbing tranquility of this song; I love nature and the hidden sounds sweet. Let this sweet, sharp, song ever drift and float.

two bluejays
   claim the bench~
cobalt sentinels
   perched
      on quiet wood

they tilt
   their bright crowns
toward the mist-warm sky,
listening
   as leaves

         their last
            amber sigh

the park
   feels paused,
held
   in the bluebirds’
      calm regard~
as if autumn
   waits
      for their small

Premium MemberLeaf

Floating across the ridges, gentle leaf
Soaring to new heights, despite the grief
Still, soft joy providing soul’s relief

Music in all its grace, autumn’s relief
Song as bright as sunshine in each leaf
This is the moment, pouring out its grief

Across the ridges, soundless edge of grief
Quiet prayers, in His presence is relief
Trees and hills, bound by each vibrant leaf

Every leaf, despite its grief, finds relief in Fall

Premium MemberBack To September

A dash of red
In the leaves,
Points ahead
To old long sleeves

Makes us smile
If only a few,
For mile after mile
A brilliant view

Most welcome sights
And darker darks,
Set off the brights
Like scattered sparks

A change begin
Simply excites,
Takes place when
All orange ignites

Back to September
We need you here,
One to remember
Year after year.

Premium MemberA Final Twirl

They arrive at the start of spring,
In the morning light, they sing,
On branches high they dance,
Daringly reaching for the sky, taking a chance.

Emerald leaves sway gently
in the breeze,
A soothing sound spreads among
the trees.
Beneath Summer’s warmth they drink and drink,
In various colours displaying their
beauty, glittering in sync.

Then in a blink comes autumn’s call,
Turning emerald leaves to gold and
red,
Each leaf’s vein bleeds,
And in a final twirl to the ground,
they gracefully fall.

Premium Memberlast breath

summer comes to end
last breath for flowers and leaves
as autumn moves in

Premium MemberEnd of Summer

golden light recedes
a gentle sigh the breeze makes~
nature`s cycle spins

the day`s orb, once fierce
now tells a quieter tale~
mountains a witness

tall trees toss a moan
 summer reign reaches its end~
time begins to bend

before amber blush
leaves sing with a buzzing sound~
the sky lends its ears

sunbeams softly fade
cicadas cease their loud tunes~
stillness in the night

birds prepare for flight
warmer climes waiting for them~
summer`s sweet farewell

summer softly close
a string of moments held dear~
memories remain

a final warm breeze
carries scents of sun baked earth~
harvest time at hand

air, once thick with scent
 carries cool whispers to space~
a prelude to fall.

Premium MemberAutumn Beauty

wild winds start to sigh
dancing leaves in hurried swirl
nature's ballet grand

golden leaves descend
whispering secrets to earth
a gentle farewell

sunlight, softer now
paints the world in amber hues
nature's final blush

geese fly overhead
a journey to distant lands
their calls mount to sky

pumpkins in the field
waiting for joyful harvest
sweetness from the soil

apples ripe and sweet
juice drips down the eager chin
taste of autumn's joy

longer shadows creep
as the day begins to wane
peace rests in the soul

scent of wood smoke drifts
carried on the crisping air
old memories stirred

misty mornings rise
veils of white across the land
quiet beauty seen

crisp air fills the lungs
a cleansing breath for the soul
preludes winter`s hold.

My ice blue eyes

Ice blue eyes ~ gaze lovingly at you
Radiating ~ joy to all I see
My motto ~” show kindness to all”
A smile chases all the blues away

Blue butterfly ~ flutters by
Such beauty to behold
I love nature, wildflowers, trees,birds,bees
All radiate God’s love

Stop what your doing ~ smell the roses
Be thankful to be alive
You are enough my friend
The world a better place because your in it.

Put on your coat or hoodie like me
Let’s go a walk in beauty that surrounds us
Autumn is springing forth
Awesome colours to brighten your day

Premium Memberpath and abyss

I walk a hazy woods of apricot and gold,
           the path is lush with autumn;
birds doing the fandango on a branch.
                 Oh, jays sing psalms !

I find a pond and fish roll and jump,
           colors sway into the abyss;
it's flow a yawn inky in the woods.
                Oh, the birds trill !

I pull a canvas from my backpack,
             paints and brush follow;
sitting on a rock I study the woods and abys.
                 How many hours pass ?

Premium MemberAutumn's Breath

As summer ebbs, a cooler breath will dart
as Autumn's vibe is felt in every heart.
For, by late August, changes will begin
as shorter days and longer nights sneak in.

This breath will sigh of brilliance in the trees,
as flowers fade and ripened orchards seize.
While crisper air dissolves the humid haze,
new glory soon replaces Summer's phase.

Oh yes, these Autumn breaths will swiftly flow
to form and paint new views of burnished glow.
Reshape the scenes that rose by Summer's sway,
and offer life to us another way.

When Autumn breath shouts, “welcome to my Fall,”
we will accept old Summer's curtain call.
