Perhaps I was too weary, perhaps I slept too long,
Now I must find my Army, but every turn seems wrong.

My head is hurting, my feet are sore, and I really don't feel well.

After I read all of the Trixie Belden books I could find
My aunt Janice allowed me to read one of her Nancy Drew books
She had a book case filled with them.
She was chintzy with them, only allowed me to borrow one at a time.
I used to beg to take two, but she had her standards.

Middle Names

Nancy Lee, Nancy Lee, a southern handle most definitely.
Mother dear has long been dead.
I can still hear her voice at times in my head.
Nancy Lee, Nancy Lee, She'd use both names
when yelling at me.
I blocked her out quite skillfully.
At times I'm sure it was deserved.
Is that the purpose our middle names serve?

Nancy and Necromancy

Many Gentlemen fancy Nancy
But for one Nancy kept her fancy:
Thirty- year old Gilbert Tansi,
Whose meeting with her had been chancy…

The- Interested-in-Necromancy,
Near a cemetery his tenancy;
Now, Nancy wants him “Necromancer”,
Leave his Hotel job as Hot Bouncer;
If Tansi does so, he’s paid her price:
Indeed, from Hollow Cup thrown Best Dice…

Seems the Chinese are saber-rattling near Taiwan
Making the headlines and stoking some fears,
While the Speaker of the House has moved on
To be greeted in the Far East with lots of cheers.
I say, “Go, Nancy, go!” Let all the world know
We are not afraid of those nations who bluster
Americans, free to travel from Paris to Borneo,

I want some excitement in my life,

Well the morons are in the race
