My own mind game

Feeling sad and alone
Depression is prone
Can cuddle for an hour
Turns others sour
Too intense for some
Only get a crumb
Important for skin contact
Between different people big contrast
Need extra time to bond
Head feels a bit conned
When the heart hurts
The mind inverts
Feels like rejection
But is only a perception
How the mind can play games
Would be easier to take it to the flames

To My Own Mind

"I only express from within I,
Not to please others,
But to show within the faith I found within myself."

Locked Inside My Own Mind

"Locked inside your own mind"....In a world of depression,i feel myself drown, head full of bad thourghts, swirl around and around..Lock myself away from this terrifying place, locked in like a prisoner, when i really need space..Thourghts of the past enter my mind, trying to leave all the bad memorys behind...I just need a saviour, someone who will be kind, then i can have a much clearer mind...??

My Own Mind

Completley undecided in my
unkept home.
I've become,one side minded,
that I won't come home.
My attention becomes
so undivided,
as your intentions
are yours alone.

Making Up My Own Mind

Morning approaches out of another sleepless night
Anticipation gathers around my bedposts come daylight

Decisions made in the dark, they fade away so fast
Was it a dream of consequences related to the past?

Should I disregard the calm I feel as I begin the day?
Maybe I will learn how to get out of my own way!

It's very good to have the strength to seek out all your choices
But not so great when all you hear are everybodys voices

Telling you this and meaning that just doesn't cut the mustard
It leaves you silently indignant and so very flustered

So just follow your voice within, find what you really need
Let the naysayers figure out you won't be taking heed

Lord
Can you
Please try to
Deliver me
From the imprisonment of my own mind
