Premium MemberMusically Inclined To Listen Intently

Musically inclined to listen intently
from this title, music is high in my list
always have enjoyed in all my years
so thrilling to me like when kissed

Someone said there's only two kinds
meaning good and bad and that's all
trust my taste has been on the good
the joy of music lifts your heart so tall

In my present times being retired
have ample time to listen real deep
a lover of classical so aids my therapy
helps calm nerves for words aren't cheap

A change in recent days to Gaelic
both Scottish and Irish are a real treat
such a magical lilt sounds in your ears
effecting you all over to follow your feet

In some musical spheres, it's independent
a whole class of its own is folk
I've grown to like it so very much
it speaks to the conscience as broke

So music is a large part of life
it stirs all of what's going on inside
makes one feel a deep longing within
the Lord tunes me to constantly abide

(A look at my musical tastes over the years and what inspires me today.)

MY SOLEMN TRUST LYRICALLY MUSICALLY LOVE YOU MUCH---

Shall I tell you that I love you. I do;
And shall I ever tell it to the world;
Ever so loving and adoring you;
That I'm passionate and adore you girl;

And what manner of love is this my love;
I've written many poems and writes sole;
Candid floral essences of grandeur calls;
windblown spirituals breathing in my soul'

I haven't forgotten my plead nor pledge;
Never ending love shall I encompass?
Must I be keeping my emotions on the edge?
Sound play the sounds of Cupid's trumpet;

As I join the surrey I love much;
Lyrically music, my solemn trust;

Musically Inclined

She walked into the room capriccio, with her hair bouncing and flowing rhythmically. The room is now, acceso with excitement. She walks A cappella,
yet some kind of charismatic tune, began playing in my mind, as her classical shape gracefully glides, con affetto past my table. My heart skips a beat then presto, dolcissimo on a crescendo. Con fantasia my mind, follows the music,
as her eyes meet mine. Poetico, her eyes read like two love songs, sognando and magico and I was only brought back to reality, by the charming aria,
of her laughter, as I had inadvertently, spoke the names of this duet.
         Lighting up the room with her tunes, like an ancient glow of vibrant runes Changing the time and place, by the presence of her grace Like your new favorite song, you must gladly sing along With your heart dancing inside and your mind carried by the tide
As an instrument of your dreams is now a reality, it seems
The music is not by chance and it has begun, the romance

Musically Inclined

Her fingers strum
lullabies on my
dopamine lines
from one artery
to the next
She's connected
to every heartbeat
in every breath
like a ***** spiritual
to Still I Rise
Her touch exposes
 surprising endings
and unbelievable
encores followed by
Reach for More's
and dig deepers
So deep
 I have to rinse soil from my soul
Having to apologize
 afterwards
because we went from hello
to one hundred miles into go
 Fingerprints
left on skin,
I retrace the chords
she played
My body her piano
tying Ribbons in the Sky
to Your Love is too Hype
Now close your eyes
and allow me to play
a tune or two on you.

In my sixty plus years of life
music has always been my love
loved the Beatles and all 60s stuff
during my school days was enough

For spell in teens had a change
Scots traditional music I did like
that lasted not to long at all
needed something else to strike

In 70s got real into punk
it's high energy really got me
told a message got down deep
showed what I needed to see

Also at that time heard Dory Previn
this lady was depressing but real good
her songs were stories so real
feeling like I was sure was my food

Within last decade really love classical
giving me a calming peace so new
just what I needed for my soul
so smooth makes my real cue

So that's my musical master class
every era was for me just right
such joy received in every type
gave me meat made real good bite

abstracted bass, cacophonic drums echoing.
fretting guitars, humming in jubilation.
knackish lyrics, melancholy narrated opus.
phrased quartets, rare sonorous texture.
upbeat virtuoso, windy xaphoons yodel Zep.
