Dear Editor,
See how you like these poems
about movie theater.
In Movie Theater We Want To Be
Movie theater is where we want to be,
While relaxed and our soul set free,
That we did do;
Dream came true
Remember moment with you and me.

Put on our clothes will have to try;
We would always know reason why;
Movie to see,
And on agree;
Stopped at theater and not pass by.
At theater saw seats row after row;
Had been up high while others low;
On a screen,
Picture seen;
We loved and was such a great show.
We should see show sooner not later,
When we had gone to a great theater;
Each scene.
Saw on screen;
And show ended up being an educator.
We would walk into theater single file,
Then we had selected a certain aisle;
Always knew,
A clear view,
And were there together for a while.
Remember going to movie all alone,
And outside sun had brightly shone;
Starting time neared,
Then show appeared;
No longer a child now fully grown.

Milky way, snickers, thin mints too,
Movie sneak ins by me and you,
The theater people saw red and blue
When we ignored their popcorn in lieu
Of the stash we had sneaked in inside our shoe
Squashed, and smashed, messy socks too.
Still tasty good anyway for me and you.
Thrown out for life? This will never do.
Next time, we’ll sneak in disguised with wigs, pink and blue.
Always returning to favorite show with the best manager of all,
My cousin’s neighbor’s sister’s son-in-law’s brother, Little Lou.

A Visit to the Movie Theater
By Elton Camp
Seeing a movie isn’t so dandy
Without popcorn, drink, candy
The theater manager firmly vowed
No outside refreshments allowed
Else, this place can’t survive
By those sales we stay alive
It’s no surprise that people still try
With the lobby prices set that high
How much popcorn can I get for a dollar?
“We don’t sell just one grain,” they holler
So when you go to the refreshment stand
Better have some twenties in your hand

Constitution:
From the mighty quill feathers of post revolutionary colonists
a seething declaration that will stun the world.
This is how its done,
we dont mind you having guns,
say what you will,
thou shalt not punish unusually,
we make the laws, you interpret them
