Premium MemberWith A Gentle Hand - Mystic

With soft touch of hands
mother smooths creases of fear—
folding in embrace
touching quivering candle
fingers humming haunting hymns

Love requires no hands
it invents its own language—
wing, beak, paw and lick
a body curled up to care
whispers —'you're safe'

Whales cuddle up close
dolphins ring rosy halos
seals seek safe harbors
penguins bow against the wind
birds soothe with beaks and feather

Love without fingers
a current that wraps and lifts
a tide unbroken
it cradles the heart within
steadies the faltering steps

Such love needs not touch—
it listens, watches, imbibes
hovering in care
joining two hearts together
with spirit of motherhood

A Mothers Love

I will watch over you
Till my dying day
I'll nurture and cherish
The times that we play

The times when I read
Of adventures to come
As I tuck you in bed
And you suckle your thumb

I will watch over you
As you learn how to live
To become independent
From the knowledge I give

The cruelest of fate
As I watch you this way
The role of a mother
To prepare for this day

To live and to love
And to help you be free
Able and strong
For a life without me

I'll wistfully see
All the days in my mind
Of watching you growing
To your own special kind

I'll wistfully dream
Of the days I won't see
When I will be gone
From this entity

I promise I'll stay
In your heart and your mind
In the love that you share
Forever entwined

I will watch over you
Until my last breathe
The love is still with you
It does not fear death

It lives on in the sun
The wind and the rain
It lives on in the thoughts
Which consume your brain

It lives on in your eyes
As you see through the years
It lives on in your spirit
And softens your tears

Know that I'm there
When you need me to be
To comfort and guide you
To set yourself free

Happy Hurt Day

You’re gentle, judgemental,
A freak in sheep’s disguise
Yet in some ways you’re burdened by self sacrifice,
You’re obsessive, compulsive,
Afraid to let me go
You’re afraid of what’s left of you,
If you have not my hand to hold

You know I love you,
But it’s time to move on
Take a fall, and crash out, if I’m wrong
Be scared, I’ll hold you,
If again our paths may intertwine,
Someday you’ll see me smile,
But now is not your time

So I guess we have little left to say,
But happy hurt day,
Let’s eat our heart ache
We’ll bake ‘till we can’t feel
Lind’s eat your cupcake,
Made out of mistakes
Let’s wrap up what’s concealed

‘Cause it’s your birthday,
But not anymore
Since you chose the hurt held door
So happy hurt day,
Look, I baked you cupcakes
Blow out your candles,
Close the door

To Mama

This is for the sleepless nights you spent
thinking 'bout life's ups and downs and in betweens
For the efforts you continuously exert, though unseen
For the hungry stomach you choose to ignore
Just so on our plate you could put more

This is for the silent tears you have cried
For days when no one seems to be on your side
For the words you want to shout but chose to keep in your heart
For trying to keep things together, though it tears you apart

For being soft but yet sturdy and strong
For making me feel, I always belong
For setting aside your youth so I could enjoy mine
For your sweet smile even during the toughest of times

This is for your courage amidst your fears
For choosing joy despite the tears
This is for the battle you've won over the years
This is for you mom. Cheers!

Premium MemberDo Not Abandon Me

"LOVE, just four letters for a very powerful word." By Poet

Why does life start out from a loving mother,
only to be given to another?
This loving mother cannot care for her,
as a tiny baby makes a stir.
A loving mother will sign papers that will cut like a knife,
making a decision effecting her and a new life.
This is all out of her control,
a mother with fear in her body and soul.
As her body now shakes,
she must sign the papers even if her heart breaks.
Her loving tiny girl lays in a pretty pink blanket all wrapped,
a mother can not abandon her or have her kidnapped.
Will the true story ever be known,
about a mother filled with love but on her own.
A baby that came from heaven above,
and about a price one put on selfless love.

It’s Not Your Fault

I know you already know, it’s not your fault, the life I sought...the bad choices, that was all me. If I could gather all the words the stars have ever heard, still they wouldn't be enough to say what you deserve. You raised four girls on your own, it taught me how to love and how to be strong. You gave me love in gentle hands, taught me how to rise and how to stand.
Your love was stitched in every thread...a haven soft, where angels tread.
But somewhere on my path I veered....chased shadows....and ran from fear. I made mistakes, I lost my way and broke your heart along the way.
I want to say with all my soul, it wasn’t you, who lost control. You raised me right, you raised me strong. I just took some wrong turns all along.
But even then though storms I caused, you stood beside me, never paused. Your patient, brave, and kind..a steady hand, a guiding mind.
I never meant to bring you pain, to make you cry, to leave a stain. Each tear you shed, I carry too...a silent ache for hurting you. But still you love and still you stay, your grace has never walked away. And now I see through clearer skies the strength behind your tear filled eyes.

Samantha

I wonder what I'd be like if you had loved me
As a mother myself, a friend, and spouse
If your love had stretched like branches of a tree
But I still keep your picture at the entrance of my house

She's the Samantha before you had to take life by the handles
The Samantha before you were consumed, as if by fire
So I ran to a Father who gave my feet sandals
And He gave me all the love my heart could desire

HYACINTH HANDS

 Hyacinth Hands

Mother, ego-cracker, birthed an embodiment of freedom plaited with slavery
petunia planter, marjoram with Malay curry and rice, yet scarcity her best performance when hunger a primary protagonist
my leap into Sovereignty depended on unraveling karmic bonds binding us through lifetimes, countless ages, sotto scenarios
Piscean, she scaly presented the toughest tests with hyacinth hands, only an embattled Heart would accede to

her non-relinquishing of my spinal cord nerves entwined with hers, she decorated with wondrous wild animal decoupage vases
to despairing detach from plundering pain, each principal pleasure she designed with subtle oomph, unconscious sophistication

my divinity would have back burned in futuristic coliseums had she not been Mother of trialing pegs and variegated embroidery cotton

Happy mothers day

Happy mothers day

To all my female family and my female friends
You was blessed from up above when they sent you a child or children to love . They saw that your heart had a void so they sent you a girl/ boy
Someone who could fill that space and be held in your warm embrace .
No one can say when GOD will decide to take them away , but in your heart they will forever stay .

A Letter from My Mother

Little girl, don't you give up now,
Unravel that quizzical brow.

Run like a roar, not with dread,
Stand tall, hold high your head.

Remember the words your mother said:
"O sweet daughter of mine,
Let the whole world see you shine,

Everything will be fine,
O sweet daughter of mine."

Become an alchemist,
See through the mist.

Turn the pain into your gain,
But don't let your heart wear a brain.

Keep the poems close you've read,
There's beauty and love just up ahead.

Though life may not be as it's said,
It's more than butter, more than bread.

Rise above the noise because you can,
Life is a journey, not a plan.

Have faith in Him,
Life won't feel so dim.

He loves you, sweet child, you radiant spark
So be gentle when life feels dark.

Be wild and free, go hug a tree,
Dance with the wind, just let it be.

Live with ease,
Listen to the honey colored bees.

Talk to the flowers,
Rest under the bowers.

Spend your hours
Smiling through the rain showers.

Carry on,
Look for dawn.

Every hurdle will be gone,
By the next morn.

Happy Mother's Day

To the woman who gave me birth,
Who helped me realize my worth.
When it seemed dark everywhere,
You held my hand with deepest care.

The day I started walking, you rejoiced,
Smiling gently, your eyes moist.
You were the one who beamed with pride,
Each time I took a dream-filled stride.

For us, you sacrificed everything,
Left no loose ends in our upbringing.
You gave your best; fulfilled our wishes,
Each day wrapped in hugs and kisses.

Today I’m writing what words can’t convey,
We can’t live without you;even for a day.
For you, I whisper each night in strife,
A silent prayer: may God give you a long life.

Without you, we are incomplete,
Even success feels like a defeat.
So here’s my heart on this special day,
To thank you, Mom, in every way.

to come home to a mother,
after a long day at school,
to that greeting of love and care,
to a spotless house, and aroma
of food that she makes so well,
to her healing maternal touch,
… those bygone days,
still stay with me…

to drive home to a caring wife,
waiting alone for me at home,
for that hug and kiss, the bond,
that strengthens two souls to be one,
when thoughts and hopes merge,
her thoughts are mine
and mine she knows from before,
.. her never fading smile,
still stay with me.

to be with the bright eyed girl,
my little 5 year old,
the distance from work to home,
felt so, so far far away,
I might have raced my car,
unknown to myself,
then watched her through teenage to
her wedding.. when she left.
..my love for her, and hers for me
still stay with me.

each a mother, like another,
each a glorification of that special
creation- womanhood…
moments pass, time washes days away,
imprinted on my heart and soul,
they stay with me…
forever.

Mama, my best word

My sweetness, from you, my first meal,
Exclusively for six.
And for many more months after~
The grub that made me tick.

You'd go hungry for me to eat.
Still my tum begs for more
What yours for days has been denied,
For hunger there to roar.

Empty tummy twirls blank your eyes,
Then you fall down and faint.
Still you rise just to find me food,
Your hunger no restraint.

More I grow, so your sacrifice.
You forsake your pleasure~
For me to have a great future.
To you, I'm your treasure.

Why Mama becomes my best word~
On my lips, just your praise.
I care not what anyone thinks.
In my heart, your love stays.

Your face now wrinkled by old age,
More, to me, you're pretty.
Tell me Mama how to pay back,
I'll pay to show pity.

Premium Membermother kisses little red riding hood goodbye

Her heart was pure; she was not fearful of the woods.
Shadows mean opportunities; she was curious and excited.
Her first opportunity to show grandmother her new red cloak.
Her mother cautioned her to be closed and aloof.

Little Red Riding Hood laughed at this warning.
She was eight, innocent, enthusiastic, and open.
Whatever happened, she could handle it.
She kissed her mother, picked up her basket and was off.

Her mother had an uneasy feeling, which she tried to ignore.
She would not be happy until her baby was safely home.
