Misjudgement Poems | Examples

Loss time

There was a time worth remembering
There was a moment you wouldn't forget
But it was lost to a fatal misjudgement
And had was replaced with regret

I wait for it to peak its head out
To the wind the action was tossed
But i swelter in the heat of a missed opportunity
And reconcile with my loss

Hitler made errors in judgement
If not, his army might've been triumphant
His downright arrogance
Cost him by the evidence
Imagine the impact of his misjudgement

His scarlet head droops
towards his soulless emerald chest.
Perched upon a fruitless branch,
his spiritless eyes stare
at the emptiness of freedom.

Above, streaks of ruby hints
flow among coral flamingo shades,
as golden streaks swim through
crystallised kaleidoscopic skies -
but he feels no enthusiasm to fly.

What he thought would set him free,
has left his heart a companion-less hostage.
A lovebird without a purpose,
he is unable to warble a melody,
nor whistle for the love he left behind.

Raindrops splash his forlorn feathers,
he is too scared stiff to spread his wings.
His heart thumps like thunder,
as flashbacks of sitting, singing and locking beaks,
with feasts of berries, apples and seeds,
are regretful reminders of his misjudgement.

As he falls,
his last thoughts -

maybe freedom is not all that it seems..

Catch In a Net

A semi shriek of an atom bite should never be viewed as the submission of a rug. For rugs wear earplugs, and belts with chains. Very heavy locks can also be located in that type of wirey loops. Fabrics can change and alter through time correction. Using battling beans and chips to dip and slurp can simply not be the answer. It is too generalistic you see. And sweeping crumbs can often uncover missing gems that sparkle. Lewd is the miscommunication and misjudgement of the shrapnel falling from miscellaneous guns. And weary not. And wear not. And weave not. A giant battling bee bomb. Buzz buzz buzz. Extract fuzz. Great. Or not so great. It is deemed less necessary to eat a bacon slice that is not fully cooked. For too much slob is no good for the handle on a door. Gated guarded grating girths. And a fortification of a fibre. Giant slopes where pods are arranged. Oh how wonderful. Wow. And a fornicating hedgerow is neither a fish fork nor a ladle when painted in oils. Italics itemised innermost inherited inhabitants. And of course the passing of nineteen cuttlefish in a sky burst is a scented form of communication through lines of fins. Good. Harmonisation z

Death, the Most Cruel

Of all the vices humanly known,
Death, you're the most cruel!
Beyond doubts you have always shown
How pleasurably in griefs you dwell.

And what is pathetic of you the most
Is your unrepentant untimeliness:
Too adept at making one's life a ghost
Subjected to shameless nakedness!

Ipso facto I cannot but accuse you
Of your partiality and misjudgement,
Which whether or not you agree is true,
I still wouldn't rescind my comment.

Yet it should never of me be said
That I have spoken at you too rudely
—Not when for you I have no such dread
That would make me act so cowardly!

"Every man his fears; Death, you're not my dread!"

Backwards

Your words took the breath out of me
Made me realize
Gave me anxiety
Brought me back to reality
That I need to make changes
I feel like a stranger in strange places

I realize my misjudgement
How I treated you with words unfairly
Now I see things more clearly

I'm a poet
Some say a rapper with a pen
All I know
Is I won't make that mistake again

Sometimes I feel backwards
Like Kris Kross in the early nineties
So many things remind me
If who I was at one time
Chaotic mess
Chaotic mind
Now I'm searching for peace of mind
But every moment I find
I'm one step closer to greatness

Without this pen I feel naked
Stripped of everything I am
Maybe others can understand
What it's like to be different

I'm different and that's okay
Cause everyday
I'm changing constantly
When I look in the mirror I see
A driven mind

I Know What Love Is

I know what seeing is!
As I saw you that day for the first time
So I know what liking is!

I know what striking is!
As I stroke stone against stone
So I know what the spark is!

I know what rubbing is!
As I rubbed heart against heart
So I know what love is!

I know what caring is!
As I had been used to it since we met
So I know what soft touch is!

I know what fire is!
As I had been burning along with you
So I know what nectar is!

I know what compassion is!
As I have experienced it with you
So I know what affection is!

I know what addiction is!
As I have been addicted to the smell of you
So I know what obsession is!

I know what memory is!
As I have experienced the break up
So I know what the hurt is!

I know what mistake is!
As I have been the victim of misjudgement
So I know what reconciliation is!

I know what longing is!
As I have suffered from emptiness
So I know what she is!

I know what losing is!
As I have lost in the rough wind
So I know what I miss!

Worldly Misjudgement

Over time, a plethora is acquired by a single man,
The type of things the world perceives as factors of perfection,
And yet his joy, locked in sorrow like fruits enclosed in a can,
This generation stands in awe of something needing correction.

Intellectually, he is labelled supreme,
This premise brings the assumption that his world must define bliss,
This gleaming admiration, for him, only a dream,
Sadness and he inseparable, as a man and his mistress.

A mask of joy he wears, to hide the actuality,
He wishes to find truth in the world's blind thought,
Even in this apparel, disdain lashes with brutality,
It then casts its net, and he is once more caught......

Begining With No End

were does it all
begin as a child
with visions of truth
one soul,one life
one journey,
two decisions
to follow a whole
eternity amongst
one choice in a
deceitful world
one truth is real
enough to accept
a force of power
unexplainable
can only death
complete to be
a hinder to anothers
belief of a liars fate
resolve a revolution
with love from one truth
that is God
a concept of misjudgement
a man of one that only
knows how to be true
as it all ends in a dream
that has no reality of realism
it all begins with one love that first loved us
in all that surpasses in ones mind
three is ones charm that has no destination
of comparisation as it all ends were it began
