Loss time

There was a time worth remembering
There was a moment you wouldn't forget
But it was lost to a fatal misjudgment
And had been replaced with regret

I wait for it to peak its head out
To the wind the action was tossed
But i swelter in the heat of a missed opportunity
And reconcile with my loss
