Misfortunate Poems | Examples

Id love to write a poem

Id love to write a poem that rewrites history
that unlocks consciousness
that speaks from an universal experience
that feels the rage of love
and the longing of lost

Id love to write a poem that doesnt do anything
that lingers in between “ahead of its time” and a “classic”
it hangs on the dusty shelf, misunderstood or untouched
it locks in on the misfortunate muses and never expels a rhythm or rhyme

Id love to write a poem that reads itself

A Memory To Serve

Today I had a darker memory that stained my eyes
Blurred my vision of truth, which suddenly turned into lies
I noticed how awfully untrue our lives have turned out to be
As I was doubting you, and you were doubting me
And when it came time to speak the words we knew we should say
The memory was repressed beneath the cold and the gray
And secret whispers of regrets filled the air around us all
And carved the words we read in awkward silence on the wall.

But we climbed the wall and trudged through the regrets and pain
Grasping our paper umbrellas beneath the burning rain
With each mile traveled, there lay a broken dream in our way
A pile of filthy memories of the love we had betrayed
With occasional sights of misfortunate decorated with joyful lies
The tragic theater in the silence where we hide the tears each of us cries
Hidden in the shadows awaits another memory to serve,
A relentless reminder of our sins and the pain we all deserve.

Destruction of Misfortune

Misfortunate life tangled us like goofy hair.
We try to release this tangled miserable with care.
But we got tangled more when we took it lightly.
We need to open our mind to tackle and beat it proudly.
We can make our unfair or hard luck into our favor.
We the human beings have the biggest weapon called brain.
Our brain can solve the problem with ease.
If we can remove negative thoughts and grow positive thinking.
Resemblance is a brief conceptual imagination.
We need not to become like Lord Jesus or Buddha or anything.
Our own experience will tell the whole story.
Our passion will create our Imagination.
Our will power going to make us what we dreamed before.
Our hard working capacity will reach the destination in time.
As Julius Caesar said before “I came, I saw, I conquered”
Now I say a thing but not much similar meaning to Caesar.
I say “I born, I saw, I observed, I loved, I achieved”
I came to this philosophy after I haunted by misfortune.
But then I made my path with those characteristic.

Reflection

Cliffs of tolerance forever extending
Far beyond threshold of concept in thinking
The obvious comes creeping misfortunate years
Sat beside loves affection a tender heart fears
That the cliffs will stop growing putting wrench into gears
As the hearts of the lonely shed their heartache and tears
Ascending to reaches far beyond what was thought
And becoming enlightened giving life one more shot
We all make excuses and distribute the blame
But it isn't too late to be that person you proclaim
Although self-pity can seem stifling and sometimes hurt
You can't give up now not with all of this work!
If Love's truly unconditional then you have to agree
That the source of most issues lacks accountability
What I'm saying is just love because it's what makes you, you
And forget about uncertainty in His image you are too

Factions

How misfortunate she was
She could not see for her own actions
She was set to work and no longer able
to fake her factions

What Resonates In Me

"If I asked, “what resonates in you”,
What would you chose

Is it a time and place that made its mark,
Pulling you up when all seemed dark

Is it faith that provides,
That feeling inside

Or is it the compassionate view,
Of those misfortunate that imbue you

Is it a symbol or a sign,
Or it’s meaning behind

The power they represent,
Earthy or heaven sent

Is it family or friends,
That resonates within

What gives you strength,
To go the length

Each day,
Everyday

Is it love of self,
Beyond all else

That lies within,
From each moment we begin

Like a reservoir inside,
Gifted to whom we decide

Reciprocal feelings to be matched,
Beyond family we attach

Energized by the spark,
That lights our vulnerable heart

So I ask you,
What resonates in you....."

Pain With No Gain

They all took a piece
Never asked
Never cared
Just take take and take

They took a piece of her today too
This one was more to the right
A bigger size

They all take pieces
Eventually there will be no more
they’ll move to another part
Until there’ll be no more of her

She wasn’t awful or dreadful
Only misfortunate
So there I saw her with missing pieces

There I saw her
I saw her cry

He took another piece
A new kind of piece
No longer hers, now

Everyone is taking a piece
She’ll soon be left with none

There goes one
Follows another

Piece by piece
She’s not herself

Piece by piece
Why won’t they stop

Piece by piece
No one would help
He didn’t
She couldn’t
They wouldn’t

There she was lost and cold
Maybe that dusty book on the shelf can
Maybe He can

Piece by piece
She read through it

She laid it down
A little peace
A lot of guilt

A good book but maybe another time
There’s no help for her.

Embracing Christmas Cheer

Embrace sweet kisses under mistletoe,
soon Santa will be riding on his sleigh.
Outside the children making men of snow,
the fondest friendship matters most this day.

This is the day when all shall laugh and love.
Forgiveness guaranteed, so let’s await
for Jesus to be sent from up above.
The angels coming shall destroy distrait.

If you believe in hope you shall be free
from all that brings misfortunate disdain.
So take my hand and come and follow me,
arrive with joy and kindness shall remain.

Let’s comfort people needing drink and food-
so Christmas donates peaceful gratitude.

I have always struggled with IP, but I tried my best.

Be

BE

What will you be?
A doctor, lawyer, a teacher or judge
A misfit, con artist or just another street thug
What will you be?
Yes resources unfavorable, experiences you’ve gone through
Misfortunate lives trying to figure out whose you will align to
What will you be?
A business owner, writer or preacher
Street pharmacist or city commissioner
What will you be?
With all of your spirituality, what will you be?
Emotional baggage and poor mental state
The master of poor choices
It’s hard to communicate
How will you get to your destiny?
Will it be the luck of the lottery?
Do you believe in fate?
Many dreams and aspirations can they be fulfilled?
The answer is yes
With determination and God’s will
You can be what God says you ought to be
Strong, vigilant, mighty and brave
Full of strength, wisdom and a force to be reckoned with
Can you say the same?

Run Caroline

Uninvited possessions take over me the shepherd in need of closure
cast me into the field of fate let no one understand my misfortunate hate
into the hands of lighting I commence my sorrow to start anew from a thousand
tomorrows. What brings the night forever unsure of my indefinite endevour cold
hands trace the fear upon my face locked eye to eye this cant be fake, to move is pain
to resist insane it whispers into my ear a rhyme I cant hold dear."Tick tock but not a clock
revenge is me seek me so shall I be free run Caroline meet me upon the sea". Compelled
to obey why choose me yet the answer is plain as day to be submissive to such encounters
I am the choosen time still frozen go in peace shepherd your request shall be done foward I
go run Caroline run.

Hark, the Misfortunate Heart

Time unfolds
Futures untold
The sweet November wind
Of many untamed passions
Will you not share this sweetness with me?
Swiftly, so gallantly
Lullaby dreams

The walk down the memory
The nearness of your melody
This cryptic sullen meaning
Of vitality is painless

Will you not play another song for me?
Willingly, so desperately
Relentless pain, never leaves
Unchained melancholy
Speak your words so freely
Time, oh wishful star in my dim dark sky

Deep autumn shadows
Please share your strength with me
A heart full of tears
Pierce my soul with yours alone
A wistful, sorrowful good night

Road of Dreams

Dreams, they are more than just images within slumber
Achieving your dream, for anyone, is a heap to lumber
From birth on forth, the road to travel is never refined
Obstacles will continue to rise, drawing you far behind

Limitless tears must be shed, numerous wars to struggle
With worries clouding our mind, and problems to juggle
At times, the reveries blind us with gratifying illusions
Altering the paths preordained, leaving no conclusions

Immense funds we must pay just for the visions to clear
Endless sacrifices occur with the fall of every single tear
All for a hope, to achieve a life we pray intently to gain
For life to finally be simple, to profit taste of sweet vain

Amazing what we will do for the sense of pure success
To grin at life, to wallow in the riches, blind of regress
And to now look down on people, those of less chance
Greedily shunning the misfortunate in their final dance

People tend to be spiteful, but some are angels of love
Hardships come; life will not always fit as like a glove
Grateful hearts will sure prosper, blessed are the meek
Be true to your dreams and you will find what you seek

For the Sake of Friendship

After a long discussing
With
Emily
Spiced with
Empirical
Etiquettes
She said,
“Send me something
For the sake of friendship.”

The time I got
Home
I opened the
Oxford
Dictionary
To clear the 8 words up
For fairness
I paged
96 pages
Of WOMAN SPYCHOLOGY,
71 pages
Of
WOMAN SPIRITUALITY,
SEX, AND RELATIONSHIP
Hell!
I did not find
Something that
Looks like
“for the sake of friendship”!
In this time
Of Ebay,
pop-ups,
sex and the city,
and
In this dark time
Of religion
And the apocalypse

Is this a
New gene discovery
Put on the first
Page
Of a
Misfortunate
Local
News paper
Or
A new kind
Of self serve
