Road of Dreams
Dreams, they are more than just images within slumber
Achieving your dream, for anyone, is a heap to lumber
From birth on forth, the road to travel is never refined
Obstacles will continue to rise, drawing you far behind
Limitless tears must be shed, numerous wars to struggle
With worries clouding our mind, and problems to juggle
At times, the reveries blind us with gratifying illusions
Altering the paths preordained, leaving no conclusions
Immense funds we must pay just for the visions to clear
Endless sacrifices occur with the fall of every single tear
All for a hope, to achieve a life we pray intently to gain
For life to finally be simple, to profit taste of sweet vain
Amazing what we will do for the sense of pure success
To grin at life, to wallow in the riches, blind of regress
And to now look down on people, those of less chance
Greedily shunning the misfortunate in their final dance
People tend to be spiteful, but some are angels of love
Hardships come; life will not always fit as like a glove
Grateful hearts will sure prosper, blessed are the meek
Be true to your dreams and you will find what you seek
